We are being linked with Chris Martin from DCFC again. would suit I feel.

17 Apr 2017 01:14:06
No his ego is to big now and he has lost that goal scoring touch he used to have.

17 Apr 2017 05:19:59
Got a very strong feeling this will happen played for lambert before and proven goal scorer at this level okay people may look at what happened at Fulham but 19 championship apps 9 goals which ain't exactly bad and I would definitely take him.

17 Apr 2017 08:54:01
Chris Martin or something just like this. Type of player we need with a head full of dreams and who doesn't get a rush of blood to the head in front of goal. Sorry.
See we have also had scouts watching Morton defender Thomas O'Ware, no nothing about him but ten goals from a defender is a good start.

17 Apr 2017 09:41:13
Same people who didn't want Chris Woods 😂 Won't want Martin. Proven at this level scored at Fulham with personal issues. He only signed the new contract at Derby cause mclaren promised him he'd be their main striker. Fulham can still activate £6m loan clause so they're in the driving seat.

17 Apr 2017 17:09:55
I don't see Martin or Woods here but I do see signings like Marshall who has been a revelation we still have Henry on our books now I think of it.

Wolves are set to approach Arsenal for a offer loan offer for Stefan O'Connor. Should O'Connor impress, the deal will be made permanent.

Daniel Amartey will be drafted in on a permanent deal, PL is looking to add strength and depth to the midfield.

Players that will be leaving are:

Paul Gladon: Contract terminated

Jed Wallace: Loan move to Millwall be made permanent

Silvio: Contract allowed to expire (including all loanees to return to their parental clubs)

This is what I've heard from an extremely reliable source. "The futures bright, the futures Fosun".

BB.

16 Apr 2017 10:41:32
Gladon should be shot.

16 Apr 2017 10:51:22
Hope there's a lot more than that coming in and going out or we're mid table at best.

16 Apr 2017 11:15:24
Brimble they tried Every player was given a chance and they all missed.

16 Apr 2017 12:25:26
Amarty is a best. Abosulty what we need.

16 Apr 2017 13:37:27
Ainsley Maitland Niles wouldn't be a bad shout for a creative midfielder from Arsenal too.

17 Apr 2017 00:24:46
Stefan O'Connor just had loan deal cut short at Dutch side. lack of playing time. Why would we take risk on unknown quantity whose only English experience is a couple of games for York City. We already have better in our team at present.

17 Apr 2017 17:13:01
OGW I didn't get that first time round poor Gladon he thought this was his big break I guess he will be loaned to a club in Holland or maybe Scotland next season.

16 Apr 2017 00:21:55
We need 2 players for each position. I would suggest:
GK: Ikeme/ Burgoyne. CB:Batth/ Hause/ Cook/ Terry/ Keogh.
FB: Doherty/ Silvio/ Deslandes/ Coady. CM: Saiss/ Oniangue/ Carrick/ Edwards. Wingers:Caveleiro/ Costa/ Graham/ Zyro/ Marshall.
Strikers:Dicko/ Mason/ Haller/ Abraham.

Add to this, Bright, Donovan Wilson, Connor Ronan and Morgan Gibbs-White, I think we've got a pretty strong squad with experience and leadership.

Iorfa, Saville, Evans, Price, Bod and Williamson should all be let go.

16 Apr 2017 01:42:16
I'd rather have bod than dicko, I also think criticism bod gets is unfair the man came out last Saturday saying he's played almost two years of none stop football and moved country twice in that time he needs well rested break and full pre-season and I'm pretty sure well so the bod of the start of the season again once he's had that if that's not the case I'll hold my hands up, but I feel once gets that break and a full pre-season we'll see the best of him again.

16 Apr 2017 09:22:07
You still keep bath, oh dear.

16 Apr 2017 09:27:40
Let's hope whoever is in charge next season gets Fosun's backing and brings in quality players who will play week in week out, so it's a settled side. That is the only way we will achieve promotion. I believe we need two strikers two midfielders and two centre halves, as long as the spine is strong we will be successful, I know that sounds like common sense but our last few managers haven't achieved this.

16 Apr 2017 10:42:51
Batth will be an England player. Wolves fans need to compare him with Cahill, Smalling and Stones.

16 Apr 2017 10:47:54
Not convinced about Lambert. He was the best of a bad bunch at the time, and has had plenty of time to make his mark. He has failed to address our shortcomings and is not going to take us forwards. If Fosun are serious they need to get rid a soon as we are safe.

16 Apr 2017 11:34:10
I'm not sure if getting rid will help but I agree it's not great all I want is to have a manager who will be in charge this time next year. I'm not sure if PL is the right man for wolves it seems to me that the fans have just not taken to him nobody sings his name and on this site alone it's split right down the middle can a manager who nobody really wanted succeed at this club? Even with Zenga the fans got right behind and I think everybody was shocked when he was sacked. Somebody said it's 50/ 50 if he's here next season and I think there right like I said just want someone in charge who the fans can relate too and who will be here in a year's time.

16 Apr 2017 12:55:44
Totally agree with Paul T.

New "Spine" needed. 6 players in. Plus 1 quality FB and maybe another Keeper.

MUST see the exit shown to Price, Evans, Saville, as well as others mentioned. My worry is they may still be here next season. If so, 10th would be the best we could hope for. They are League 1 players!

If we do not see big changes, Lambert will be gone by December, as we will be nowhere in the League.

16 Apr 2017 13:38:18
Terry and Carrick, oh dear.

16 Apr 2017 19:07:17
Tristan can I have what your drinking or smoking.

16 Apr 2017 21:03:01
Totally agree with PT. That will do for a start to settle them in. We know what happens if we take on too many players at one go.

16 Apr 2017 22:26:09
Agreed PT. We need a new spine. 2 defenders, 2 central midfielders and at least 1 striker. We also need a replacement keeper. Burgoyne should be 1st choice next season and Ikeme and Lonegran sold.

17 Apr 2017 04:25:51
Oniangue can't get in Bastia starting eleven and they are bottom of Ligue1. Should have brilliant home record as based on island of Corsica. Long trip for all visitors.

My hope is that we get Marco Silva as manager. Was our second choice after Lopetegu in Summer but genuinely took time out to learn English after successful stint in Greece (which isn't an easy option) his home record without losses is amazing and something we have been unable to do in recent years. Despite this teams shortcomings our away record is pretty good this season but home form is dire. half decent home record would have had us challenging for a play-off spot.

Even if Hull are relegated he has done an amazing job keeping them competitive for the time he has. really we're dead and buried when he took over. Missing link in Fosun/ Mendes partnership. More chance of Costa staying with Portuguese manager at the helm and a Premiership plan in place.

Wouldn't try guessing what squad we would have as Silva has shown players can be integrated quickly into a team if instructions from the coach are clear. Listen to what Hull players say about his tactics and attention to detail.

Need to demonstrate that Wolves is a bigger and better project than Hull, even if they retain their premiership status. Do really believe Silva is the answer.

17 Apr 2017 17:18:57
Unusual for managers to drop a division voluntarily they want to be playing at Trafford Stamford Bridge etc

Carrick and Terry? We will be a long way back in that queue behind Chinese Turkish and USA clubs not to mention mid table Premier.

17 Apr 2017 21:41:18
WindowWolf, we never thought we'd sign Paul Ince and Denis Irwin all them years ago but we did. Our owners have the determination so must sell the idea of a promotion push to Terry and Carrick rather than mid table Premier league mediocrity.
