{Ed011's Note - Brilliant result tonight! Talk about changing the manager, bringing in new players, new owners etc. is pointless now. Every game is a cup final until we're staying up, once the final whistle season has blown then all of these issues can come back out again. We will never die. (Needless to say, please don't stop all the rumours and talk about changing the manager... this site would become pretty mundane otherwise).
ALSO my congratulations to Cardiff and especially our favourite Cardiff fan Red Bird. Don't know if he'll see this but good luck in the premier league, hopefully we'll be watching us beat them again on Match of the Day again soon ;).

SS was never going to succeed with players and fans like you not backing him and having patience for changing the mentality of the club. If we do go down, at least you'll be able to see even more teams that play the outdated long ball game that you and deano enjoy!

Morgan now knows the mistakes that have been made. The first thing he is doing is hiring a DOF on the shortlist is Neil Warnock, Graham Taylor & Craig Levein. This will leave JM to take care of business elsewhere off the pitch. Next is getting rid of the players who just have not performed over the past two seasons to free up wages as well as the high earners. Now for the good news Wolves have no need to sell Sako who is on a mediocre wage compared to some players at Wolves and this has been factored into next season loss/budget. Also a fellow poster has rightly said about the under 21 players getting promoted to the first team. DS job is safe (despite comments from DS in todays E&S) as SM knows how successful DS was with DRFC with their promotion campaign.

If the 3 names in the frame for DOF are true. The only one fit enough to fill the role would be GT. He can come back & finish what he put into existence - the Academy. We might see some decent players come through. Oh how Sir William Ambrose Wright must be wandering what is happening up there with Sir Stanley Cullis!
And then you woke up. I will copy and paste this somewhere and see exactly how much truth there is in it next season, wherever we end up.

I'm friends with Ronald Zubar on and he posted yesterday that Sako will be risked for the Burnley game. Also that if we get relagated he will leave, so we need to stay up to keep him.
If you are friends with zubar why didn't he tell you himself rather than you having to read his posts?

How can anyone say moxey is doing a good job balancing books is beyond me. We reportedly turned down a 1.8m offer in summer for zubar, then has contract terminated 4 months later so he can move to france?

Every cloud has a silver lining, we will go down but it gives the board a chance to redeem themselves. Offer Martin O'neil a five year contract to re build our club from the bottom up regardless of what that contract costs, sell him the dream.
O'neill is a has been who's time as a top manager is gone. Left Villa in a mess, Sunderland in a mess. need I go on?

Agreed about O'neill and with his wifes ill health of late maybe he could be a good candidate for a DOF that way he could combine his love of the game and that of looking after his wife

I think the point is that an offer of a long term project to establish one of the greatest teams in the uk back to where they belong with financial security has got to be attractive. He didn't do too bad at Celtic. His enthusiasm and knowledge would get the turnstiles clicking I am sure. Why go for someone who can serve his apprenteship here when we can get the guy who teaches?

Hang on you said we can't have players without championship experience well macca hasn't and winnall had more game time out on loan both ate good players
I believe that Winnall is one of the players to be released at the end of the season.
So obviously not rated.
Thats why I put Macca 'shortly behind' and seperated him away from the other players with Championship experience.

Wolves have warned hiberians there is no chance keeping Leigh Grithis beyond the end of the season.
So what, the player has already said (and its quoted all over Scotland) that he "will never play for Wolves again" after the way he was treated and Saunders comments about his off field troubles.
