So Karanka linked because he is a Mendes client. Does that mean he will have to accept every player signing that Mendes forces on him. Clearly he didn't have to accept that at Boro will he accept it now?

I think due to the fact the last 3 years he's got them in play offs twice, automatically promoted I think he will be aloud 2-3 of his own and tbh I won't mind karanka as watching the football he played in the championship I think he do well and I think you have to judge him on the championship tbh and worry about prem when you get there.

Hopefully, if appointed, he doesn't give some of our players a chance to impress. i. e. Saville, Price, Evans, Gladon. At least PL (hopefully) has an idea about who is the deadwood at the club and can act accordingly. Particularly as he has already expressed his desire to trim the squad down.

There's an awful lot happening off the pitch and not a lot on it. do fosun actually want to get promoted? they are doing everything possible to harm our chances. we are just another business to there collection ie. buying Costa to sell . I wouldn't expect them to get attached to our club the Hayward days are gone. and the stadium will be empty just like wigans and Blackburn.

I will lose no sleep if PL goes but what concerns me is the time that is wasted sorting a successor.

Have read on this forum and other forums some think he's signed a new contract really hope this isn't true but if he has hope for his sake he gets rid of all the dross on and off the pitch

Why so many wolves supporters upset about PL getting tha boot, he hardly did anything to improve tha team, some of his team selections were pathetic, he had more players than KJ had last season to choose from, but we finished more or less tha same position, I for one am happy he's going!

One thing that has to be considered us, if PL is to stay how is he going to persuade his selected targets to come and play for him if he is a dead man walking?
Even if there was a player who was 100% behind PL, he would be hard pressed to put his future at risk and Gamble on a move to WWFC managed by a man who was a one-way Street out the door.

The Guess and Stir are really annoying me. They've got nothing to write about so they are overplaying the PL news.

PL deserves a full season and should be allowed to decide his transfers. I would like to see Jorge Mendes bring a few of his players in. Worth it to get another Costa.

If PL does go, I don't think there is a manager out there that would be willing to come to wolves that has the right Championship experience that we need.

Heard lots of rumours, we're being linked with everyone from Francesco Guidolin to David Moyes, with Pardew, Silva and Ranieri thrown in for good measure. I even read one rumour on Twitter claiming we've spoken to Cesare Prandelli!

But out of all these, Aitor Karanka seems to be the most logical. He's available, he's a Mendes client and he's done it in the Championship before. I guess we'll find out soon enough. I hope anyway.

"Big" Jeff is starting to look ridiculous at this point. How can anything he says be trusted?
1) Backed KJ - sacked him
2) Backed WZ - sacked him
3) Backed PL - and will either sack him or not renew his contract.

Weimann won't be released by Derby as we have an option to purchase him. If they released him he would be a free agent and we could sign him for zilch, instead of circa £1.5mil in the option agreement.

Whoever comes in needs to be quick about it. How can he assess the squad? It's taken PL 6 months and now the season is over! I'm not a huge fan but he's not the worst! I also think Jeff Shi was told from above as he thought PL was staying and even said so 2 weeks ago. I expect he will get pissed off with all this as no one will believe anything he says anymore! Basically, it's has become a farse! 👎😥⚽️.

What do we think about or know about Fosun? They are wealthy and have business acumen, however, NO football business acumen, 4 managers in 10 months, tell that tale! Expecting a new manager to come in, assess the team who are on holiday and decide what players he wants to keep, who he wants to buy and release in the next 2.5 months seems like a tall order to me. Will he be the quality manager we all want, and how long will he last? These I think are all valid questions given what we have come to know about Fosun. I think Jeff Shi gets told one thing and then another by his reverred leaders! Meaning he says one thing one minute and another the next, so no one will believe a word he says moving forward in or out of the club. That's not a tenable position all by itself is it? No credibility. Anyone coming to the club will have to look at, and consider all this crap before signing on the dotted line won't they? The future looks bleak from where I'm standing. I want to be wrong and hope I am. They, Fosun, are in the last chance saloon I think. If we're not careful we will hear people comparing us to the venkies at Blackburn. This is fast turning into a Nightmare me thinks. 👎.

If Lambert goes it's a Godsend we are lucky Blackburn and Wigan have been worse than us this season. Us beating Liverpool was the highlight of our season and this papered over cracks and problems. Bring in Karanka / Silva!
