The shortlist for Wolves manager is as follows-
Owen Coyle
Kenny Jackett
Steve McClaren
Neil Warnock
Michael Appleton
Nick Barmby
Keith Curle

Also a rumour circulating that Graham Turner could be on his way back to the club in a DOF style role.

Considering in old money we are a 3rd Division club with the exception of Curle, Barmby that list, if true does look good, perhaps we could both a head coach and DOF from them

Thelwell has been put in charge of footballing operations so surely this must be at least part of the job a dof would do. So can't see a 3rd tier side having both.

I've seen 1st hand Michael Appleton with the kids at west brom an he won't take no s***! Spent time as a kid at man u an very good coach which he's a manc aswell so he'd make them lot up there earn what they get paid!

Ha ha don't know how Wolves manage to keep business away from the bookies but they always do. Some bookies have about 30 names on their page for next manager but not the one Morgan has been back slapping today. Step forward Mr. Paul Jewell.

Apart from Wigan which he did a very good job, last 2 jobs were very disappointing

He may enjoy fellow scouse humour at the bar, but he would have to be mad to take a risk on the Mr Jewell. He may be a slow learner as far as football business is concerned but given the lessons of the last 18 months I think Mr Morgan has lost his taste for risks.

Owen is the only jewel that Wolves want, he'd make them sparkle.

This would be a worse appointment than saunders. he was clueless at ipswich.
