Stoke say Robert Huth is available on loan. We barely won a ball in the air all game vs Blackburn (which made it all the more ironic/moronic that they were playing it on the carpet and we were playing longer balls in the air) - I wouldn't mind seeing him for the rest of the season.

Still think we should try for Tom Ince, Maynor Figueroa, Zeki Fryers and Nick Powell. Huth would be a quality signing but doubt he'll drop to championship. Can see Huth going WBA with Pulis now there

I like Robert Huth, and he'd be a good experienced head in the dressing room. I don't think we would get him though, as we can't guarantee him football. Given how well Stearman and Batth have played, I doubt very much we will sign a CB other than another promising kid.

We don't need replacements for any of those mentioned. Cassidy was already out, McAlinden barely plays and we have just signed Afobe, and Saville hasn't looked ready and is behind McDonald, Price, Evans and Edwards for those two central midfield berths.

We have already signed a striker, but I'd like to see a specialist number 10 and a versatile defender come in.

I think Edwards does a great job at No.10, but I agree it is an area to strengthen. Edwards has been injury prone throughout his Wolves career, and we could do with someone backing up in that role.
I am actually quite happy with the squad as it stands. A ball winning midfield player would be the only addition I'd look to bring in, as sometimes when we aren't on top in a game our midfield gets a little over run.

Yes, can't fault Dave's contribution. Scores goals too. Our midfielders haven't been scoring much, though, and when we win, it's only by only one goal. Not sure the answer there. Maybe we just have to get used to the idea that we have a good defensive midfield who play unexciting football. Not quite what Kenny had in mind.
I see now Bristol City want Saville on loan. I suspect they will get him too.

Have to agree that Saville has been far from good, in terms of clumsy play it's clear how raw and inexperienced he is. That said, it's not like Chelsea to keep a young player for so long without seeing signs of a positive future. Hopefully at Bristol their good positive form and play will rub off on him and he'll have another season like at Brentford. I still believe he has a future at Wolves on the basis that Chelsea clearly saw potential. All my best to the lad.

Nick Powell would be a good signing and would provide cover for if Edwards were to get injured and can also play CM. Not sure on Lingard haven't saw him play if i'm honest. Nick Powell was quality at Crewe, Him Max Clayton and Ashley Westwood all looked like Prem quality players very good on the ball and very confident in their own ability
