wolves looking to sign Luke Ayling defender and are believed to be looking to get Ryan Bertrand on loan from Chelsea a left back

Why would Bertrand come to wolves? There's plenty of prem clubs that would play him

He was on loan at Forest, I do remember us being linked with Bertrand while we were in the premier league but Wolves wouldn't stump up the fee Chelski wanted (I think it was in the region of one million pounds)

Gibo.

just seen danny graham outside molineux not reading much into it.. my wife had her photo with him trying to upload picture but struggling

Upload it on the wolves sightings page then.

What nonesense!!
Why would he come to us with half the prem after him and why would you not read anything into it. Convenient you can't upload the photo.
He was not at molinuex tonight.

Oh yes he was!

Oh no he wasnt!

Why? If you had a photo with him you must have asked him why he was there or if he was signing for us. That's just a logical question.

Can I join in this panto? He's behind you!

Graham has said tht he wants a move to Sunderland. his home town club. he is also being chased by QPR, Norwich and Reading. but sees his future back in the North-East.. so your talking rubbish m8.. either that or somebody was playing a prank on you and pretending to be him.

Tosh post of the week.

Wolves are looking at Walsall pair Jamie Paterson and Will Grigg.

Gibo.

Grigg reminds me of Doyle. Works hard, can't score goals. Pato would be a cracking signing, I sometimes go watch Walsall and he's a bright spark. Under the right guidance he could be special.

Marlon King to wolves for 1.5m
Tom Pope to wolves 1m
Adam Hammill to huddersfield for 750k
Steven Mouyokolo to be released from contract

Any hope for the defence

Keep playing Premier Manager on your computer! Tom Pope will not be signed by Wolves in real life!!

Federico Macheda has turned Wolves down. Other rumour so has Dutch wonderkid Lumu the bid wasn't high enough. Wolves are still in the market for a striker. Erick Torres, Simeon Jackson and Apostolos Vellios on loan have been linked with Wolverhampton in recent days.

That makes no sense. Lumu turned us down as our bid wasn't big enough!? Hmmmm

Ed a challenge for you and everybody...
List all the players on wolves books, then as Deano says ask yourself why we have so many, what could we do with the money we save from reducing the squad and because the squad is so bloated how are the youngsters ever supposed to get a chance? Common sense!

Rob earnshaw free to leave Cardiff
End of jan proven goal scorer at this
Level should go for him knows where
The net is more than our lot.
Any thoughts
Djwolf

Interesting how Leeds could not agree wages with Doyle ..

Does this mean that Doyle wants to go? Or just speculation?

Even more interesting seeing us linked with other strikers..

No thanks!!

I asked few days ago bout j tabb news from the goalpost is he's been mentioned alot in last few days? Made 12/13 premier league games this season? personally I knw sod all bout him but least he's got premier experience this season on he's c.v, any thoughts?
Siewolf

Hope Morgan ain't gonna let us down again in this window, but am I the only one gettin that déjà vu feelin.

Agreed Earnshaw is worth ago as he's a freebie! We need 2 strikers an attack minded midfielder, centre half and a left back! I'd get rid of Doyle, Seb, jonnson, stearman, ward, Zubar and Berra! Paul Tamworth

If we could get rid, I'd agree bar Doyle, think having the right coaching he could come good again. He came as a goal scorer and was asked to "do a job" under MM. I'm sure I've heard somewhere a striker never loses his instinct, just confidence!

So do you think DS will turn the team into the Welsh National side, instead of MM's Irish one? Earnshaw - NO THANKS!!!

Earnshaw no better than what we have. Saunders says he will trim the squad and bring in better quality players.

I agree with your outs Paul, all I would point out is that there has been nearly two transfer windows since we dropped from the Prem and no other club seems to want that crew.

SEB, Zubar (I think) & Berra are out of contract at the end of the season.

Tabb is a League 1 journeyman. Playing in Premier, but out of his depth and therefore released. Would signal the worst possible lack of ambition and understanding of what is needed to give the sort of lift we desperately need. First recruitment of the new regime should signal direction of travel and Tabb or his ilk would signal a massive 'kick in the teeth' for all those fans who have stuck by the club through a period of overwhelming mediocrity hoping on hope that better things were imminent. Attractive, exciting, creative football......everything Jay Tabb isn't. No disrespect to him but he signifies more of the same and I for one want to see a sign that a sea change is planned.

Totally agree.

Saunders scouting at the Carlisle v Coventry game

Why the hell is he scouting at that game.reflects the ambition of morgan.

He's obviously scouting for unearthed gems, how do you think we found kightly and Jarvis!!!!

Heard that Leon Clarke lad up front for city is pretty decent pa

15 Jan 2013 14:19:20
I think we should go for michael johnson, just been released by man city.

Have you seen the size of him??

It's a shame really, he was quite good when fit, but like S.Ireland he fell down the pecking order when Citeh were bought and heavily invested in.

Gibo.

Very talented but very injury prone.

I'd defo speak to him, he's only 24. Talented no doubt, i'd ask him if he wanted to train for a small wage he may not be interested. But if he agreed do a 2 yr deal when he is fit. Believe it or not he is entering a pie eating contest for England.

Get him out of Manchester. Get him down here and get Mal Puchase to get him fit. If he's up for it then there's a good player in there somewhere.

He's fat now

Johnson? You have got to be kidding. He makes Fatty Arbuckle look anorexic

Plz have a look at todays copy of 'The Sun'. i couldn't believe it when i saw Johnson. OMG! he looks abt 40 yrs old! he's a wreck. poor bloke. he's finnished. if you see him now you wouldn't wana sign him. trust me. shame really. coz he was quality.

Michael Johnson is banned from driving for 3 years and is a right bat fastard. No Thanks!

saunders was at, carlise v coventry last weekend source wolvesnow, i wonder who he was looking at and decent strikkers down that area ed .jason wolves for life

What it said at the end of the article was "United™s young players such as Brad Potts and Dave Symington have also been regularly scouted by Premier League and Championship clubs this season." One is a winger/forward and the other plays in the midfield.

Gibo.

Apparently looking at Carlisle forward Lee Miller..

TRANSFER NEWS:
Leeds United have reportedly given up on trying to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle due to wage issues.
The 29-year-old had been linked with a possible move to Elland Road from struggling Wolves, who recently appointed Dean Saunders as the club's new manager.

Wow, how much must we be paying this non scorer.

I would not mind Doyle demanding high wages if he earnt them - need to put the ball in the net mate instead of spending all the time on the ground like heskey use to do.

He won't go to another champ club

Doyle = £35k week.....

We needn't be paying premier wages at this level.

Ed, what's going on with the whole Nahki Wells situation? Just rumours I'm guessing? {Ed011's Note - I've only heard rumours after the praise Saunders gave him when he was on Sky.

leeds want doyle but a no go wage demands .sell him he can't score source express

Totally aggree sell him.on and replace him hwa gt a gdbqork.rate but we have davies tongo henry who can.do.tht and we are in dire newd of a sticker who can bag goals quick. ebanks has loat it and ia to unfit doyle more lile a midfielser cassidy looks gd but needa time

we need a goal scorer asap come on.wolves n.deano !!

What are you saying...can´t understand your writing. Learn to spell.

Second post looks a bit mangled up.

I agree that Doyle is more like a midfielder these days. But playmakers are as essential as goalscorers. Even Rooney is more like a midfielder these days.

I would love to know how much we're paying him a week? knw he was on 40k a week in prem. bet he's still picking up 20k a week in championship.. which no other team in this league is gona pay.. anybody know what he gets now? would be interesting to know?

Any chance of subtitles?

Seriously, can someone translate the above for me? WTF does 'hwa gt a gdbqork.rate' mean {Ed011's Note - good work rate

"we are in dire newd of a sticker' - I often wondered what had happened to the policeman from Allo Allo

I asked few days ago bout j tabb news from the goalpost is he's been mentioned alot in last few days? Made 12/13 premier league games this season? personally I knw sod all bout him but least he's got premier experience this season on he's c.v, any thoughts?

Jay Tabb would be a decent signing from Reading. After all, Championship experience and all that jazz. Bit of a utility player too, might be a good signing to fill in at Full back for the rest of the season, because let's face it, Foley was ruined by MM's insistence on playing him RM, and Ward hasn't been the same since he was run ragged at Euro's

Sorry i was on my fone and cudnt spell haha its ment to say doyle has a gd work rate but we have plenty over players who can do tht we need a goal scorer asap

thts was the basics of what i was saying

sorry

"at least he's got prem league experience"?? So has half of our bunch of no hopers!!

morning ed wolves have made a bid, for jeroen lumu, but turned down they want a £1 million for him, source sports mole, jason wolves for life

We need proven first team players in now! Come on Deano let's get it sorted! Paul Tamworth

A bid turned down...from wolves'well I never...insteps Fulham with the asking price...bye bye Lumu, Wolves allover really if it's true...the club has turned into a 50p shop, cheap, cheap, cheap

I've noticed over the last week on radio WM, Franksy has been linkin us with Blackstock? Is he guessing or does he know something? Paul Tamworth

Wolves cheap? ...maybe we only want to pay what is reasonable and fair, not over bloated!!

Some people have zero patients. The same people who can't wait to sack our managers are the same who want signings yesterday. I think we are waiting on other clubs to sign players so we can get the surplus on loan. Don't expect any big money being spent it won't happen. UTW.

Today or tomorrow will do! Paul Tamworth

Today or tomorrow will do! Paul Tamworth

This reminds me of a situation when Mark McGee was in charge. when we had an unknown Nicholas Anelka (yes you read it right) on trial.. and the prat said he wasn't good enough! lol! bet a lot of you don't remember tht? still haunts me today tht one..

Yeah, Wolves have zero patients, cos it's a football club, not a hospital. Having said that, we do have quite a few crocked players...

I guess we see in the transfer columns how other teams have been very active - perhaps five players already joining and/or leaving. We want to be part of that. Rather than waiting till deadline day and finding out that the sum total is Bassong on loan.

It's not about signing players yesterday, it's about being realistic regarding transfer fees, if this Dutch kid really is a star in the making then who's to say he isn't worth a million...seeing as wolves want a reported 1.8 million for a donkey like stearman...tite and cheap, oh and by the way I never wanted SS sacked, just the no mark players mccarthy left us with...

14 Jan 2013 22:38:08
seen steve morgan friday before the game and he came over for a signitue! I asked if there are going to be any signing and he answered "hopefully 2 or 3 but to be honest we are not close to any signings". He went on to say abot 10 to 14 players eill leave the squad this calander year. another bloke asked what players are been looked at and replied "all over but mainly defence as if you don't concede then your not going to lose" He claimed stale solbaken nearly had maiga in the summer who went to west ham and was negotiating with 1 other unamed player. Before leaving going into the ground he said money is available to spend

Steve Morgan would not tell you who we were looking at! What a load of rubbish.

Had me thinking with this managerial merry go round when was the last wolves manager approached or appointed by another club, matbe its not just sm who has got it wrong.the realist.

Willem II have revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers' offer for forward Jeroen Lumu was "far too low".

The Dutch club's technical manager, Marc van Hintum, insists that the 17-year-old will not leave in January.

"The offer of Wolverhampton was far too low, " he told Voetbal International. "A departure is no more on the agenda."

Gibo.

Wow, 95% of this brought direct to you from the E & S

I keep thinking of Jona Lomu when I see this guy's name.
