Seeing as how it's gone quiet re any take over talk I will share a couple of things I heard.

The week before last I spoke to someone who said they were recruiting for a Chinese Consortium that was taking over a local club.

I asked if it was Wolves and she said no, she said it would be announced the following week (last week) obviously there was no announcement but you never know!

Had a meeting today in Wolverhampton and was chatting all things Wolves. The guy I was chatting to was adamant that we are in very advanced talks with a USA group and a statement was imminent.

He was a very senior level person and seemed to be honest and sincere in his belief. He would not tell me where he had heard it.

Not saying any of this will happen but it is 100 % the truth.

WABFK really hope this info is right but am sceptical after other rumours!? Did he name the yanks involved? Did he say his connections to them or how he came about the info? As you've got an alias on this site I'm sure u can tell more? Sorry for havin doubts but there's been so many rumours, a bit more info would be good.

Hi Paul,

I don't know anything more than what I posted. Sorry.

I'm not expecting an announcement to be honest but you never know with Wolves. They do keep things quiet.

It would be great news if that guy was genuine and his info correct. Thanks WABFK, I think something is happening on the sale as that's the only reason JACKETT is still here? Look at blues villa and baggies all up for sale but all changed their managers.

16 Feb 2016 09:19:14
At Albion at least it's business as usual. Villa have spent despite being up for sale and despite Randy Lerner's unrealistic price expectations. Blues look no closer to a deal than ever. Even with the low price and lack of debt in the club, we're still nowhere near anyone taking over.

If your right a c then we should definitely get rid of JACKETT! Only keep him if a sale is close then the new owner can sack him.

Hello to everyone. I'm new to this, but a life time ww fan and have seen the good times and bad. This season as been an embarressnent, I think Jacket knows his time is up, and is working his time out. New owners (if we get any) will want him out and if he was sacked now, who the hell would want the current mess of a club we've become not knowing the future. he's got to stay sadly, or we'd fall further.

16 Feb 2016 15:19:26
Why would we fall further? Justin Edinburgh, Cooky, Gary Monk Nigel Pearson Brendon Rogers, any of them could do better than JACKETT! All they have to do is put round pegs in round holes, it's not rocket science! If we're nowhere near a sale sack JACKETT now and get someone with fresh ideas in unlike the clueless piece of 💩 Weve got now!

By the way abbywolf, hello and welcome.

16 Feb 2016 16:51:11
I have to say it folks Jacket has to be held responsible for a lot of what we are seeing at the moment! There just isn't any excuse for changing the team as often as he does and to to leave McDonald and Mason on the bench is inexcusable! I don't dislike the bloke but I'm now convinced it's time for him to leave! Paul I'm with you pal.

Good post abbywolf. I think Kenny is Dead Man Walking and he probably knows it. Get your jacket Kenny.

Trouble is, who would come in? If we have new owners negotiating, that should open doors. I'd love one of the names mentioned by Paul Tamworth but would anyone come while Morgan still owns us?

I think the probable scenario is (if ownership is changing) that things get put in place, pre-contract agreements etc., new manager on standby and then when sale contracts are signed - all change at Molineux.

16 Feb 2016 18:13:41
Deep Throat I really hope negotiations r ongoin to buy our club, then we would have a domino effect with new owner new ceo and a new manager. But if we're not close to a sale how is JACKETT still in charge? I really believe we r in negotiations that's why JACKETTS still here. Remember he's only on a year rollin contract so not mega bucks to get rid.

16 Feb 2016 18:26:33
I don't disagree with you paul tam. But do think anyone would want to start a job not knowing how long they'd be in post. Some openess is needed from Moxey/Morgan. Hold off take over to end of season then let kenny go now and get a decent temp. Ian Holliwatsit might fancy it. Otherwise stick with KJ.

16 Feb 2016 18:40:31
This is what I'm sayin, if we're close to sellin then the new owner has probably earmarked a new manager which is fair enough. But if we're not close to sellin why is JACKETT still here? Let's hope negotiations are going well and it will be all change very soon.

16 Feb 2016 19:39:44
I look every day at news expecting Kenny to be gone and as usual no new manager in place I would take Holloway he is proven at this level and will put out our best team each week not the odd selections Kenny makes. The only explanations are that Kenny has lost the plot or there is discontent and some players are being excluded.

Also I wonder about our injuries I know they are not fake but you know how it is when you are feeling down then more stuff seems to happen to you well maybe that's happening across the team just a thought.

16 Feb 2016 20:33:05
What manager would want to come to us we are up for sale until we are sold stick with kenny.

16 Feb 2016 20:44:34
What if we're not sold for the foreseeable? U say stick with JACKETT?

16 Feb 2016 22:13:19
We might as well stick with Jackett until the end of the season. I don't see us going down.
