i know its late and that but ive been off for a while so i keep seeing a lot of criticism for jermaine pennant. but i bet most of those would eat their words if he was to do well. also agree if you think it was a good signing, and disagree if you think he should of stayed at stoke

Who knows how this will turn out. But I for one am pleased that positive action has been taken in the loan market. The best that can happen is that he links up well with our strikers. The worst that can happen is that he goes back to Stoke.
Agree, it's got to be a win-win, he gets much needed game time, we get a Premier quality winger. If it doesn't work out we have only paid his wages for however long before we send him back.

Mate, take a look at the league goal against, we dont have a leaky deffence, Stale has come in and got them organised. I dont think any of our defenders are as bad as they looked under Mick. Agree we could do with better but not that bad. And the crab you refer to is a player that when he isnt in our team statistically we dont pick so many points up and he bleeds gold and black so lay off him yeah.
Clearly poster number 2 your stuck in last season mode, try getting info on the last 10 games cos your opinion is out of date.

I haven™t forgotten the dross as you call them got us promoted 4 years ago and kept us there for 3 seasons like you seem to have. We have the second best defence in the league and have only conceded 3 goals in the last 6 games, so I think what we have is ok at this level.

Yes, the defence might look shaky but the stats speak otherwise.
Would love to see Frimpong back at our club! He's a superb player and would add to what is becoming a decent Midfield! Agree we do need some new defenders but, I think the players in the team at the moment are good enough for this level. When we go back we certainly require some quality at the back! I believe Stale could make us into a very good Prem side.
Frimpong is from ghana but he might not go to the african cup
