as a irish wolves fan watching ireland in the euros made me think
at the start there was a lot hope then it started and we were woeful i am sickened this was proved so when ward stood watching torres walk by him reminded me of stearman against man city i just thougt it looked suspiciusly similar to wolves

I thought that Morgan called the Steve Bull stand off for the moment. but i just looked on Molineux Pride and part of it has been took down(the bottom left corner). My instant thought was are they knocking part of it down because of view restrictions in the top right of the north bank. Or have i missed something? {Ed011's Note - I think they might have been taken down as a safety measure or to make it easier for them to build the North Bank itself. The original plans were to finish the first two sides, North Bank and Steve Bull for 2014/15 so I expect them to go ahead with it over the next few seasons.

Ed011 is correct it was knocked down for the new stand to be built plans for stevebull stand put on hold untill "possibly" end of next season because they are doing the new training ground and youth academy next
expect a decision on stevebull stand upon end of this championship season so when we win the league again more then likely announce stevebull to be done :)

It's been like that for months

I thoroughly back everything the club do when it comes to the club but i still don't understand the decision not to carry on the plans this season. the attendances are going to be lower this season anyway so why not knock the stand down now as opposed to if we get back in the prem, where more people are going to want tickets and we have a reduced capacity?

The greatest player wolves ever had was dereck dougan wolves should be ashamed there should be a statue and a stand named after the great man himself shame on you wolves

Ok so they going o do a medical 1 month after agreeing terms i dont think so.

Also BBS has stated lilestrom have refused to let him go and he is being forced to stay against his will

{Ed011's Note - I wouldn't be surprised if this is true, the guy who posted it on twitter is a trust worthy source, well known freelance reporter for ESPN, and BBS's agent has been quoted. The problem in the deal was supposedly as I mentioned earlier today that Lillestrom didn't want to sell him now because they wouldn't be able to replace him until the Norwegian transfer window August 1st -31st but it seems a deal is in place for him to stay until at least the game before 16th July. I also heard that de Koning has also said "He was sold for €3m, but if he's injured during games he will play in Norway, no contract. He runs a great risk."

^ i just reported this, adding to it. apparently if he passes the medical, he will sign a four year deal, but if he gets a serious injury before his medical while playing for lillestrom, the deals off...

Love it !! very retro 80's/90's kit ! Yes it would be nice if it had a nike tick or 3 adidas stripes on it, but it takes me back to the days when i used to use jumpers for goal posts playing heads n volleys pretending to be bully !! IM GETTING ONE, WHO FANCYS A KICK ABOUT ? LOL

Hi ed I was just wondering if you (or anyone else) has any insight on Bassong? I've heard absolutely nothing since the season close and even though he didn't play particularly brilliant for us I think he would be a great signing, I can't really see him wanting to step down to champ, especially as spurs are going to have a new manager, but you never know... Know anything?

{Ed011's Note - I've heard he's been linked heavily with Monacco, where Claudio Ranieri has recently been installed as manager, and also with Rubin Kazan and Locomotiv Moskow. The Guardian reported him as being "eager" to join Monacco though so I wouldn't be surprised to see him return to France.

{Ed011's Note - The latest on Sigurdarson is that supposedly the deal is in place in regards to fee agreed and we're ready to go ahead with signing him but Lillestrom want to wait. The Norweigan Tippeligaen League's main transfer window is 1st January-31st March and the mid-season transfer window is 1st August -31st August and the season runs from March to early November (to avoid playing during the sub-zero degrees winters). Lillestrom want to wait until closer to August, or at least hold on to him until August so that they can reinvest the money paid for him in a new centre forward - naturally I doubt Moxey, Morgan and Solbakken are too pleased with this idea.

Can't say the fans will be happy eathier really we need him for preseason so he can get use to the other players ect

This seems a typical wolves excuse to me {Ed011's Note - That he needs to adjust to the team? That seems only logical to me, he needs to get used to the team, even the country and city, unless it means losing him we should push to get him as soon as possible, he has to go on the "Preseason Tour" to Ireland in late July.

How about buy sigurdarson & then loan him till tour to Ireland? or have 24hr callback clause

That's defeating the object the more time he spends with his team mates the better his English will be providing that's it's not great ATM that I don't no the more time he's with I'm guessing solbakken will start drilling his way in to em so he would need that as well

{Ed011's Note - Just checked Sigurdarson can speak English, he does all of his interviews at Lillestrom in English because he can only speak Icelandic and English, not Norwegian

I'm pretty sure his english would be excellent. the likes of Iceland, Norway, Sweden etc all speak english very well so I don't think this would be an issue but I can see your point.

To be honest Ed, it's more to do with them avoiding the darkness than the winter. I lived in Norway for a while (Sogndal, which funnily enough are managed by Torre Andre Flo) and they have terrible lighting conditions during autumn and winter. The summers are good tho. {Ed011's Note - I did not know that, thank you.

Also to guy above yes they do learn English as a secon language but in Norway they also teach them to swear alot in normal sentences because they believe tat we talk effing and jeffing left right and centre do don't think too much into him having good English. He will probably still need to pick up the slang. Wolves ay we? {Ed011's Note - He could have the best English in the world but he still needs to learn how to speak Black Country haha

The Sun reporting that Stoke are gonna bid for Jarvis.

Nothing new I know but since Hammers have been the first to table a bid it looks like the Jarvo transfer news is gonna build up a bit steam ahead of the Fletcher transfer news. Any more reports on a Sunderland bid Ed? {Ed011's Note - Haven't heard anything since but I heard Stoke may be put off by our latest £10 million Jarvis valuation. I'd like to keep Jarvis and Fletch but I'm questioning who we would play up front out of Doyle/ Fletch/ Sigurdarson/ Ebanks-B and who we'd sell.

From what I've heard ed sig seems to play more as an attacking mid / number 10.
