Just seen a internet report that ward is now a target for burnley.
What a stroker Ward! Best rid of the money grabber!
Yeah looks like they've hijacked the deal. Honestly. you try to sell a bloke for over a year then all of a sudden two clubs are fighting over him! Funny old business football isn't it!?

Move for Clayton doomed! Wolves won't meet Crewe's asking price-yet another deal down the drink. Sell the club Morgan you're a joke!
With these deals fallin through it certainly makes the club look a joke! Morgan gets richer as proved in this years Rich list and the club gets poorer as proved by the lack of transfer activity!
Signing Max Clayton who would be a back up for 1m would be bad business.
Clayton would've been a good addition because of his potential but he wouldn't have ousted current first team personnel. Not the end of the world.
When we've got fans like you moaning about us not throwing money at signings, that's what makes this club like a joke. We can't afford to spend on wages because of the Bomb Squad. Until we sell them we're spending 100k every week on players who will never play for us again. Quality over quantity.
Hope the Ward deal goes through for Burnley, don't like the idea of a player coming back to score against Wolves when it matters.
Our transfer activity is pretty much what I would have expected considering much of the bombsquad are still around.
Can't wait to be rid of them for good!
Tamworth - it does not make the club look a joke. If anything it makes the club look credible in that we won't pay silly money for average players! . I guess from your posts that you're one of those that would panic buy just to get somebody, anybody, in just to show we are doing transfer dealings, . and look where that got us in the past!
Wakey wakey Warlock! We don't need to spend millions to improve the squad! But we do need to strengthen down the spine as we are limited! As it stands now our board and owner r tryin to achieve things on the cheap! If your happy with it that's up to u, but I'm not as I'm ambitious and want to see Wolves bein the same.

I've never said we don't need to sign players, as long as they are quality. But you seem to want anyone, and throw your toys out of the pram whenever a transfer doesn't transpire. Having seen the match today, we would've won if luck hadn't been on their side, and don't see a problem with the squad we have taking us through to the January window!
This is where we disagree, you are willin to wait till Jan when u can see we need a striker! I want a striker and centre midfielder ASAP! With 2 decent additions we can compete for a top 6 finish! Leave it till jan and were mid table at best.

We just need one striker Rowe will play with Kmac when fit
