It seems that Lambert was Thelwell's choice and gave him assurances on transfer policy that fosun have not kept. I would say it's got to be the end of Thelwell too if that's the case.
Hopefully that should put a stop to ridiculous 3 year contracts to the likes of Lee Evans and Danny Batth. To be honest that says it all about lamberts and Thelwells ambitions and they don't match fosuns.

Fosun are an investment company and will make money out of Wolves! They do not care about the fans! They want Mr Mendes to keep finding players like Costa so they can make a killing! Lambert never had a chance with the team he inherited and neither would any other manager! I'm quick starting to feel we as Wolves fans are in for a hell of a lot more heartache!

If all fosun wanted was a mendes puppet in charge and use wolves to showcase up and coming players, why bother sacking zenga?
I have no contacts at the club but I believe the delay is because they are waiting for Marco Silva.
Fosun have made mistakes but I think they will get it right and they can see lambert is not the man to do it.

There seems a desire from a large % of people on here to see Marco Silva appointed. So much so they want his team to lose today and be relegated.
I would much prefer a manager who saved his team from relegation but still decided that he wanted to come to Wolves because they were a much better club.
With regards to Zenga - possibly he wasn't a very nice man - none of us really know; but some of the football he played was quite attractive.
Let's hope Pat Mountain and Tony Daley don't start crying again and get another manager the sack.

Not making up a news story, that's what I've been told is he has been sacked awaiting a formal announcement, it will be announced before Monday evening. My source is a former player for played from 2004-08, unsure how reliable to is myself personally, but just letting you all know what I've been told.

I'd rather stick with lambert, let him have atleast this season, if no sign of improvement then decide on him, but it's silly getting rid now.

Good shout WOLF. Used to watch us as a boy and could bring in his son who is/ was a coach at Watford.
Ideal for us. Someone who promises a lot but there is little foundation for it to work. Also experienced in leading an organsiation totally split.

Jorge Mendes is to appoint Marco Silva as Wolves Head Coach as early as this evening depending on how Hull City fair against Palace today. If Hull are relegated, Silva will be in post by Tuesday. If Hull stay up, Jose Cuicerio will be appointed next week after the Premier League concludes. Both are Mendes clients.

In affect we're either appointing someone who rejected us last summer and who has since relegated a team, albeit playing good football or we appoint someone who we'd never heard of before this week with a worse track record than Zenga.

Marco Silva will not be the next Wolves manager.
Whoever comes in needs to get rid of Tony Daley, Pat Mountain and anyone else who has been here too long during all our failures.
Let's start afresh, build and move forward.
This is our team but it has no divine right to be in the Premiership.

All these going's on at Wolves now has me really worried.
I've just renewed my season ticket, as I have for the last 47 years, and I find myself really questioning the way our owners are doing business.
What self respecting, half decent manager is going to want to come to molineux knowing they'll probably only get about 6 month's to get their team together and be in the top 6 by Christmas or they're gone.
No-one of any note - mark my words.

Utter shambles at the moment you hope Fosun know what they're doing I can't remember a club going up when having so many managerial changes I hope they see sense and keep PL. I know he divides opinion but we need stability if we are to give 3-6 months per manager there is only one way we are going!

There's a lot of people saying Lambert has already been sacked, if that's not they will look stupid? Personally I think he's gone and Fosun are just sorting their next man till they say something. I'm sure if Lambert was still there a statement would of been made to say so and the likes of Tim Spiers etc would know so.
