Im finding this all v hard to believe. We only have speculation. Nothing in serious media. Li or Lie, what's in a name I ask myself. This whole thing is a Lie!

13 Jul 2016 01:27:27
My mom always said never trust anything said by anyone from Bilston!

13 Jul 2016 07:20:39
North Bank link to Daily Telegraph usually considered serious media. Nothing is certain at Wolves but this seems pretty nailed on

About Jorge Mendes backed takeover of Wolves
bit.ly/29w06Zz

12 Jul 2016 23:06:47
Jacket has admitted he could be out of a job by pre season next week.

12 Jul 2016 22:50:13
Telegraph says Jorge Mendes backed takeover could be three weeks.

http://goo.gl/JATmXw

12 Jul 2016 22:59:23
It won't take 3 weeks. Possibly 3 days.

12 Jul 2016 22:02:19
Anderson Talisca being linked with a move to Wolves? got to be bull, but it would be incredible if it were to happen!

12 Jul 2016 22:46:36
Portuguese press linking Wolves with Anderson Talisca.

Would like to know what Jim has to say about today's paper talk.

12 Jul 2016 22:28:21
This time I believe your right, i'm expectin an announcement before end of the week? Can u confirm that?

12 Jul 2016 22:41:33
Molmix has crashed has something happened?

12 Jul 2016 22:44:10
I wander what sir jack would think of selling the wolves to Morgan who then sells to China. He would be so sad and feel betrayed. The deal must be done and I just think through the excitement that we should think of sir jack and I has that moxeys first job is to get sir jacks statue in place.

Wolves fans should all remember the journey and yes the pleasure we are about to witness needs to have a moment for him and his family.

Remember who gave you the job jez!

12 Jul 2016 22:48:06
I don't even think there is a take over I reckon someone somewheres telling porkies.

12 Jul 2016 22:50:49
In fact Morgan should pay for it before disappearing back to carden park!

12 Jul 2016 22:53:18
I personally think that Morgan has sold the club to someone who can and will take us to the next level without running up a large debt which will stop any future investors if they decided to sell. If Man City or Chelsea owners decided to sell, there would be little interest due to the massive debt they have. I think Morgan has sought assurances that this won't happen to us much like Sir Jack did.

12 Jul 2016 23:58:32
Re Eogg, I get what you mean, but it's a bigger World than that now and people like SJH, his generations and previous ones made it so. They won - British values like SJ's are at the forefront of the best of the modern World, and people like Robin Li who was educated in America and worked for big American Companies, who are innovating and enterprising but with high standards and style, represent that.

We birthed the Industrial Revolution, with someone like Robin Li, one of the top ten IT business people in the World, it could be the next step we've been waiting so long for, the Information Technology Revolution finally arriving for us, a chance to regenerate. Along with more money in the town in general, the IT thing could give the town a modern image that could propel it and the young people forward into something really good, with real opportunities.

And our real identity and heritage, both as a football club and region, seem to perfectly fit with Robin Li's agenda, so it will be the real Wolves, SJH's Wolves who go on to whatever glory Robin Li helps us to achieve. And a lot of that success, or at least extra support, will be in China, so Robin Li will be helping us take our identity and values there, making the World even more Brit.

Regardless of how rich, there's loads of foreign owners I'd have been dubious of and disappointed with, but I think Robin Li is something really special, is best placed to help the club and town back to being something special and SJH would be very pleased.

13 Jul 2016 09:05:22
Gone off on a bit of a personal fantasy about your ideal 'other person's' personality there haven't you?
You're not alone mind you, there have been dozens of presumed opinions of Robin Li as representative of a whole 2 billion race in the past week.
There don't all match up mind you.

13 Jul 2016 10:11:12
It's not personal fantasy, I've read up on him a lot (he was even Co-Chair of a UN Commission into IT) and get reliable feelings about people. And I can see what his business objectives must be.

Plus, I know how image works, realities are irrelevant it's perception that counts, a belief / perceived image can snowball over time into a big reality. Why Moneyshop was such a disaster but Robin Li with his World leading IT reputation would be so good.

And, I was lucky enough to be mentored by Randy Lerner's super rich and successful cousin / nephew when I worked for his American bank, and know what these American business minded movers and shakers (like Li became having been educated in America and worked there) are like. I'm 100% convinced Robin Li would be an awesome owner, it makes 100% sense when I think it through and it fits perfectly with what I can feel too.

12 Jul 2016 18:41:47
Told today that the takeover is complete, all academy managers and other staff have been told. Will be announced by the end of the week.

12 Jul 2016 18:48:16
Daily telegraph confirmed could take up to 3 weeks.

12 Jul 2016 18:53:32
I'm with u WVTELF. To much out there for it not to of been completed, my monies on an announcement this week.

12 Jul 2016 18:59:55
Without any evidence I think no one has a clue right now.

12 Jul 2016 19:10:06
You can see this all going Pear shaped.!

12 Jul 2016 19:10:21
Well ill believe it when I see it, because since this takeover was announced there's been that many stories, it's off, on, then deal done on 7th or 8th, moxey thelwell out, then press are outside the mol

12 Jul 2016 19:14:42
No reason to doubt the person who I spoke to. Know he has very close links to the academy.

12 Jul 2016 19:16:59
It needs to be soon or it is going to be a tough start to the season.

12 Jul 2016 19:17:47
The current situation borders on disastrous. No deal for three weeks-therefore no transfer deals and the season will have started.
Even Express and Star statind deal far from complete. Saame old situation with player coming in-ie Powell-fails fitness test, but is fit enough for Wigan.

12 Jul 2016 19:25:51
I think the Telegraph picked the 3 weeks thing up from Franksies WMRadio piece today, which he may have said just to cause a stir to get callers and listeners, without having any genuine clue. Or maybe that's what Wolves have suggested to both Franksie and Telegraph, because they want to play it down so they can make a bigger surprise splash. I still reckon announcement this week too.

12 Jul 2016 19:58:33
Yeah, don't listen to the 3 week thing - I personally think it will be this week or next, by the very latest. The people taking over arn't stupid and won't want to start the season without it being announced. You'll also find that agent Mendes has sorted many of the new players out already behind the scenes and are ready to come in right now.

12 Jul 2016 20:19:18
Mr Morgan has reported privately in recent weeks to have commented that there was nothing in the offing. It is of course possible that something could have developed subsequently.

The Li or Lie ( is the name a clue? ) takeover "rumour" is high speculative and therefore I suggest that all take it as such. Expectations should be managed to avoid extreme disappointment if it does not come to pass.

12 Jul 2016 20:22:34
Don't forget franksy is a boggie.

12 Jul 2016 20:31:42
Hahaha

Some of you guys on here really need to change your way of thinking. So much negativity.

I for one will listen to Balague and not the english press as he is more in the know than any British tabloid with regards to these types of stories.

He has said that the paperwork is with the FA.

Moxey on train to go through plan with FA.

Coincidence?

I don't think so.

Glass half full here.

12 Jul 2016 20:35:50
The reality is, NOBODY knows other than the people dealing with the transaction. Jackett is in the dark, so are the players. The only people that know are the ones very very high up. Zero point listening to any supposed ITK's, they know no more than the rest of us fans. Fact.

12 Jul 2016 20:40:21
Nick has signed for Wigan.

12 Jul 2016 20:54:04
Oh 'Nick has signed for Wigan as he, friend of yours is he? :-)
Ballague is the only one with any credibility to listen to
End of
Just chill we are nearly there.

12 Jul 2016 20:57:04
Until ink has dried and confirmed. People should not get hopes up, disappointment will be fatal.

12 Jul 2016 21:17:27
Sorry Derby wolf 😂😳.

12 Jul 2016 18:41:21
Bumped into #Wolves contact in London. Reports of done deal premature. As of 5pm, talks continuing, nothing concrete #wwfc @tim_spiers_Star

Keith Harrison @kharrison_star.

12 Jul 2016 18:48:09
Must of been Moxey?

12 Jul 2016 18:51:44
If Spiers is reporting that, I'd take it as deal done and will be announced this week!

12 Jul 2016 19:28:32
I bet it's chaff (radar counter-measure) so Moxey can feel in control again, I don't believe for a second the deal isn't agreed after that Spanish agents rumours and paperwork at FA / EFL - if paperwork is there, then deal must already have been agreed and ironed out.

12 Jul 2016 20:14:22
If paper's been sent fa / efa how can talks still be going on don't see reason gor guillem belegue to lie after all its his rep at stake noone elses.

12 Jul 2016 21:01:55
Li would need to pass the FA's Fit and Proper person test before decision announced. This is probably where the hold up is!

12 Jul 2016 21:13:57
Totally agree with Ulf and YamYam! If the papers are with the EFL then the deal is agreed between both parties already and due diligence completed. Just the fit and proper test and if successful should be pretty much there. That's why I'm not reading too much into the telegraph/ mail stories as they are making out we are still at the due diligence stage.

12 Jul 2016 21:53:22
This is all starting to stink of Moxey sabotage. Next thing we will hear is a Moxey consortium and the death of our beloved Wolves. God I hope i'm a paranoid fool.

12 Jul 2016 18:12:58
Check out telegraph tweet just now moxey to stay!

12 Jul 2016 18:38:16
Mendes, Li and the new coach will be callin the shots so whether Moxey stays or not won't make any difference.

12 Jul 2016 17:34:35
Jez Moxey is in London presenting the buisness plan as proof of funding. Telegraph carrying story in on wolvesnews now.

12 Jul 2016 18:21:07
But they also say:
"Wolves expect a deal to go through within the next three weeks, though it could be completed sooner if negotiations go smoothly. "

12 Jul 2016 18:24:31
Yes saw this about 30 minutes ago. Interesting read and confirmed only one buyer, onthe down side Moxey and Therwell look like they stay.

12 Jul 2016 18:26:07
Yeh I've seen the telegraph website it says it going to take 3 weeks till takeover complete and seen pictures of moxey on a train on express and star website.

12 Jul 2016 18:28:33
Funny they was saying the deal was completed yesterday at 4pm Mail online says another 3 weeks before confirmation, think i'll wait till I see it in black and white rather than getting carried away with all these rumours, seems most of em are just a waste of time.

12 Jul 2016 18:30:58
Just read the article Stu. Also makes out that fat Moxey is definitely staying 😒 and it will be completed within 3 weeks! . I'll go insane having to wait 3 more weeks lol.

12 Jul 2016 18:36:47
The Telegraph also says that Moxey is to remain as CEO if the takeover goes ahead. Further stating that his position would have been under grave threat if the rival bidders had been successful.

Can you believe it Moxey has done it again, he is the master of self preservation.

Jackett to loose his job. Jackett is a decent dignified guy who has done well for Wolves. The first two seasons he built a good team out of nothing and they played attractive football. Last year was different. Yes he made mistakes, but he was operating under many restrictions and the injury list had a huge affect. In my view the fans should thank him and wish him well if he does go.

12 Jul 2016 18:41:43
The press r guessin a time scale, probably end up bein this week. Hopefully anyway.

12 Jul 2016 18:48:14
I can't wait no more, I've got a headache, my eyes are burning and I'm moody as hell, I can't even speak to the wife. Right now I don't even care about Poxey-Moxey as long as the deal is done this week and announced.

Not too bothered about Powell - might have been good now and again, bit of a crock and there's no space for another one in the medical room.

12 Jul 2016 19:08:52
Listen to Paul Tamworth, the realist will confirm this when he comes on. Forget 3 weeks.

12 Jul 2016 19:19:07
It said may take up to 3 weeks.
May is as they don't no. Only the club.

12 Jul 2016 19:21:05
Quite clear from the Telegraph Interesting.

12 Jul 2016 19:26:26
Quite clear in Telegraph that the Deal is well advanced. Interesting there was a bidding war. the Scouse Scally does it again!
Can't believe Thelwell advising on players. and staying!
I think we are closer than 3 weeks to the details being announced.
Let's hope what we hear is exciting!

12 Jul 2016 20:17:24
lol, maybe this is what those mysterious extreme sale conditions of Steve Morgans were that we kept hearing rumours about? The buyers had to say they believed and agreed with Steve Morgan when he said.

- both Moxey and Thelwell are the best in the business and should stay.
- that the clubs executive pie (or in the case of Chinese buyers) dumplings budget was sacred and couldn't be cut.
- that the Preston carpark incident really happened.

It sounds like there were 2 potential buyers, maybe the others agreed to believe Steve Morgan about almost everything, but just couldn't keep a straight face over Moxey so they got booted? Maybe it was Bill Gates?

12 Jul 2016 15:55:28
Is there any truth in the Anderson Talisca rumour?

12 Jul 2016 16:09:16
Nick Powell now strongly linked to Wigan, even stopped following us on twitter so you know its more a less a done deal ;)

12 Jul 2016 16:10:23
Talisca, is there any truth in the takeover rumour?!

12 Jul 2016 16:11:16
I absolutely hope so! He's a proper baller. However, it's extremely unlikely, surely?

12 Jul 2016 17:28:22
Lincs-wolf, there is actually a much higher chance of him coming to us as Liverpool would have to pay over the 25% of top deals in the premier league so they would have to pay more than 25mil to sign him I reckon.

They would also have to offer him + 80K on Wages I reckon, so it looks like if Liverpool REALLY want him then ( considering they have the players they have) . They will get him if not, then he will have to try elsewhere and because Wolves would offer him first team football more than Liverpool it would be easier to get a work permit.

12 Jul 2016 17:45:30
It's pretty obvious Lopetegui wants a team of Sako's, not a team of average players from the championship like Powell. Agent Mendez has a whole host of talent waiting for the new man who doesn't care one iota about FIFA fair play. I was like everybody else and presumed on £5 million pound players coming in but, considering Mendes is going to be the main man who's bringing in players for us, I'm not so sure. All of Mendes's players are of high quality and nothing below the £10 million mark. I can't comment on the Talisca rumour but it's absolutely incredible Wolves are already being linked with such quality. It gives us a glimpse of an incredible future.

12 Jul 2016 18:03:12
Mail online says takeover should happen in next three weeks Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the verge of a 40 million takeover backed by super agent Jorge Mendes and chinese billionaire Robin Li. also saying Li's consortium is in advanced due dilligence and Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey has begun the process of delivering the business plan to the football league, which includes proof of funding.
this is dated today at 5-21pm.

12 Jul 2016 18:13:37
Sportsmole saying wolves takeover to be announced today tuesday I think they got that one wrong ay.

12 Jul 2016 18:20:33
Daily telegraph website jorge mendes and Robin Li buying wolves with jackett going and it says it will be done in 3 weeks if don't believe then go check it out.

12 Jul 2016 19:24:49
Carnt have a £20 million pound brazilian on £100,000 a week alongside price or savage on £10,000, dressing room will explode.

12 Jul 2016 19:51:00
I think the idea is goodbye Price, hello quality. Not one player, barring Dicko/ Graham and a few others, will stay. Those that do will be getting a pay rise in line with the new regime. The new manager has got a hell of a job on his hands in clearing out all of Jackett's rubbish - at least 15 players won't be needed after he gets his feet under the table.

12 Jul 2016 20:37:02
That's right wavidsmith, keep taking the steroids and slag off the whole current squad as mere rubbish as you pump up the Arrogance Meter so that we can instantly rise to become the most despised club in britain, even before any takeover has Happened!

12 Jul 2016 14:49:55
Rumours season tickets are on hold for 48 hours.

12 Jul 2016 15:02:08
I tried to buy a new one, nowhere on there to buy one at the moment. just terms and conditions.

12 Jul 2016 15:20:32
Indeed! Just tried for the sake of it online doesn't have the option any more lol . Are they expecting a massive influx of fans on takeover day? If it ever comes!

12 Jul 2016 15:57:11
I just checked the season ticket online purchasing and it's true, you don't get anywhere. Maybe a bug or maybe prices are being reviewed?

12 Jul 2016 16:16:18
I phoned the ticket line about this fact and they said its a technical issue and ST are on hold for maximum of 48 hours as some data hasn't been transferred across to the new site.

I said - "yeah ok, its because of the takeover isn't it" to which the girl just laughed.

12 Jul 2016 16:20:59
Glad we had early bird tickets 👍.

12 Jul 2016 16:38:01
They are installing a new ticket system - no connection with takeover.

12 Jul 2016 14:31:01
Looks like Wigan might snatch Nick Powell.

12 Jul 2016 14:35:00
The suspense of this take over is doing my head in.

12 Jul 2016 14:36:19
Yeah definitely going Wigan don't blame him this takeover taking to long think most of us getting impatient about it.

12 Jul 2016 14:42:25
It's all paper talk, Wolves are supposed to be on transfer lock down. Possibly the only done deal outside new owners would be McDonald if that ones even happening.

12 Jul 2016 14:46:53
Looks like he's unfollowed wolves on Twitter.

12 Jul 2016 15:00:10
It's rumoured that Lopetegui has said he doesn't want Powell.

12 Jul 2016 15:31:11
Nick Powell failed a medical.

12 Jul 2016 15:37:20
failed medical.

12 Jul 2016 15:49:05
Failed medical.

12 Jul 2016 16:18:58
Wow take over must have been completed, we have started doing medicals now!

12 Jul 2016 16:35:10
Where's that been reported?

12 Jul 2016 17:20:03
Why wasnt he around when we signed Mike Williamson? :P.

12 Jul 2016 17:55:32
It's fabulous that all you guys know all this stuff as fact. I'm a bit confused though, because much of it contradicts much of it. Like, the ones that go 'failed his medical' without any evidence offered. And others that go 'yeah, defo gone to some other team', though without explaining how they know it, and others that say 'i wouldn't hang around either, all this waiting', like as if a week or less is a huge amount of time when organising a multimillion pound takeover of the company, without explaining why it's a long time.
I'm Confused!

12 Jul 2016 18:45:30
more-onWolf - try looking at 'Wolves News Now' it is all on there.

12 Jul 2016 14:29:49
Wigan set to sign nick powell. Here we go again 😴.

12 Jul 2016 15:17:16
All paper talk. No way we will the old manager be allowed to sign players.
New man has his list and if rumours are to be believed, has agreements in place.
Not sure about Powell, impresses when fit, but injury-prone. we already have a few of those!

12 Jul 2016 15:38:05
failed medical I'm hearing .

12 Jul 2016 16:17:44
He failed his medical.

12 Jul 2016 14:14:50
Also says that wolves are hijacking a bid for a player that was heading to liverpool "anderson talisca" portugese midfielder playing for benfica who's agent is george mendes! . These are lifted from there site I have no source lol.

12 Jul 2016 14:27:40
Nick Powell going to Wigan.

12 Jul 2016 14:37:15
Lol Anderson Talisca? he is rated at over 20 million I think that might be a little wrong.

12 Jul 2016 15:33:29
Apparently Anderson Talisca has been linked with wolves! Then again I guess if the takeover goes through, we will be linked with half of Europe. Would be an amazing president set if we did sign someone in his bracket.

12 Jul 2016 15:45:34
Liverpool can't get work permit for him so wouldn't have thought we could either.

{Ed001's Note - Liverpool don't want him, it was old news from the Rodgers era.}

12 Jul 2016 21:39:41
Oh that's rite, we catch the Liverpool rejects now ;)

12 Jul 2016 15:48:58
I just found this and I thought I would share. just like Staffswolf as said about Anderson Talisca.

http:/ / www. clickliverpool. com/ news/ 6168-liverpool-fc-to-face-transfer-snub-in-favour-of-wolves/.

12 Jul 2016 14:11:08
Sports mole are saying announcment definitely today. But no moxey . Eerily quiet . And as the guy below said 0 camera crew at the mol just drove past!

12 Jul 2016 14:26:36
But the headline ends with a? As in question. It was put up yesterday so not really telling us anything new.

12 Jul 2016 14:39:24
Haha alright keep your hair on!

12 Jul 2016 16:09:13
Lol. Good job i've got none with this fiasco! "

12 Jul 2016 12:55:04
Julep Lopetegui at Birmingham Airport now.

12 Jul 2016 13:25:17
When the anoucment happens, it will be Massive, no little leak to the press they want us to front there brand throughout Europe.

12 Jul 2016 13:25:28
Load o rubbish.

12 Jul 2016 13:26:48
Got a pic.

12 Jul 2016 13:27:22
How do you know this?

12 Jul 2016 13:29:26
Did he have extra leg room.

12 Jul 2016 13:32:59
Julep Lopetegui at Birmingham Airport now?

Makes sense if big announcement is tomorrow. He can find a Wolves tracksuit by then and check into his bed-sit.

12 Jul 2016 13:35:51
How do you know?

12 Jul 2016 13:38:56
As what Timtoo33 said!

12 Jul 2016 13:41:49
Yea ok obviously flown in from Amsterdam. (Juleps from Amsterdam)

12 Jul 2016 13:42:01
He knows nothing. Probably another baggie obsessed with all that is wolves because nothings happening at there own club apart from losing there only prized asset excuse of a striker that's wanted away for 2 years! Plus his name is trolley! Lol. I doubt anythings happening today probably end of the week or early next week its gone eerily quiet with REAL FACTS. Just nonsense and people making stuff up.

12 Jul 2016 13:49:03
We wants FACTS not fiction.

12 Jul 2016 13:52:18
Julep. LOL

Wheres the photographic evidence?

12 Jul 2016 14:31:40
I've got photograph evidence that Julep Lopetegui is here. See this photo of me? Julep took it. I asked him at the airport if he wouldn't mind.

12 Jul 2016 14:57:47
Upload it to imgur or something then.

12 Jul 2016 18:56:26
Julep Lopetegui -that's a cracker. I'll bet he just popped over for a drink!

His name is Julen.

12 Jul 2016 12:38:49
No annoucement to be made today.

12 Jul 2016 13:35:22
. based on.?

12 Jul 2016 14:17:18
Shepherd didn't you say yesterday that the annoucment would be made today.

12 Jul 2016 14:23:29
Jim any news?

12 Jul 2016 14:55:18
Wyatt09 i'll think you'll find I didn't at all, I said the deal had been done, EFL had approved and accounts, licences etc were being swapped over today so business in the transfer market could begin immediately, people have got to start reading things properly and not just see a word and make up the rest.

12 Jul 2016 11:12:43
Anyone saying sky sports are at Molineux. load of b*****cks. They're not at Compton either before anyone says that. I'm sat outside the ground right now, and it's as quiet as ever.

12 Jul 2016 11:29:25
Cheers Wenlockwolf. I can leave the laptop alone for a hour and cut the grass then, but, I'll be back!

12 Jul 2016 11:35:02
Thanks for sorting that out Wenlock.

12 Jul 2016 11:38:56
Don't know why people have to make things up let's just wait for the club to announce it! It's hard waiting tho I must say we have waited a long time for so thin like this:) COYW.

12 Jul 2016 12:01:42
Thanks Wenlock.

12 Jul 2016 12:12:02
Moxey would not be on a Train this morning if Sky was at the ground as he wouldn't miss a Chance of getting his face on telly.
It will happen when it happens end of, got to feel sorry for jacket though after all send and done he doesn't deserve this.

12 Jul 2016 12:19:40
In all fairness, lots of pictures of Moxey on a train going somewhere this morning, surely they wouldn't announce anything without him sitting at the press conference.

12 Jul 2016 12:20:22
Why are people putting photos up on Twitter of it?

12 Jul 2016 12:40:45
Can only see text tweets, no photographic evidence.

12 Jul 2016 13:13:05
Maybe he was going to the press conference in London.

12 Jul 2016 13:44:47
Pictures of the pieman on Train to London even made the E&S.

12 Jul 2016 18:03:47
Orient express?

12 Jul 2016 10:10:19
People are saying Sky Sports have set up outside Molineux.

12 Jul 2016 10:19:10
Gee Wolf will soon confirm that one 👌.

12 Jul 2016 10:26:27
Update Gee Wolf?

12 Jul 2016 10:26:35
I work more less outside of the ground and at the moment I can't see nothing time will tell.

12 Jul 2016 10:34:54
There are no journalists or cameras at the Wolves today, no Sky nothing except a small stage is erected in Restaurant.

12 Jul 2016 10:38:56
I just walked past 2 TV crews outside by the statue, vans are on the car park.

12 Jul 2016 10:40:25
Does anyone know if there is going to be an announcement today and what time?

12 Jul 2016 10:48:18
Are there any viewable webcams in the area. I'm stuck down in London.

12 Jul 2016 10:49:55
Hopefully it's just after lunch being from Australia it's going to be hard to keep posted any later.

12 Jul 2016 11:01:58
I can confirm just called someone working at the molineux there are some cameras and journalists there fingers crossed. coyw.

12 Jul 2016 11:18:53
Just seen Midlands Today's sports reporter in Greggs.

12 Jul 2016 11:20:08
Has anybody got anymore info on if there are tv crew outside the mol.

12 Jul 2016 11:29:28
Well wenlockwolf is outside an there's f-all out there so please if ya cor tell the truth dow bother sayin anything.

12 Jul 2016 11:41:01
Well there's no cameras in sight, just walked all the way round the ground, oh yeah, and these sky vans on the car park must of been stolen, that's kind of believable though, it is Whitmore reans after all.

12 Jul 2016 12:01:10
Haha wenlockwolf cheers 4 the info, can't believe some folk on here, at least I know we can get some light from you mate thanx.

12 Jul 2016 12:58:05
Will do the same tomorrow, Compton park and Molineux. If there's anything happening, everyone on here will be the first to know. Wenlockwolf, news at 1, wolves rumours. 😀😀.

12 Jul 2016 13:42:50
Good Man Wenlockwolf!

12 Jul 2016 14:37:49
Here we go, looks like we have lost out on Powell as its reporting on NewsNow that he's signing for Wigan today?

12 Jul 2016 01:27:20
Li and Ding Lei are the owners of WWFC. Confirmed in China.

12 Jul 2016 03:28:08
Where did you see/ hear this mate? Have scoured the internet but cannot see conformation anywhere!

12 Jul 2016 06:30:50
The document that mentions ding lei is in Chinese but has been translated seems it bit confusing looks like Chinese did a e&s job ( repeated old stories) they seen ding mentioned previously so just put 2+2=5 also said wrong stuff about Milan - on diff note we got Chinese web site now so somethings happened.

12 Jul 2016 06:51:46
Check out Sportsmole.

12 Jul 2016 07:26:16
How do I find Chinese website.

12 Jul 2016 08:08:04
Waited all our lives for a billionaire and then two come along at once!

12 Jul 2016 08:33:57
I think this has been misinterpreted, I think it means to say either li or lie will be buying the club. Sports mole is hardly a credible source for a first hand confirmation, you will have to wait for the club for that.

12 Jul 2016 08:43:25
moxey at wolverhampton station!

12 Jul 2016 08:49:46
Not surprised about that maybe 2 will be involved in takeover, but Jack ma is also a close investment partner of li also it looks like they like the idea of the golden palace 2.

12 Jul 2016 08:49:55
Give him a shove, lol.

12 Jul 2016 09:01:11
Very much doubt both would invest in one club as both have own brand to promote, but billionares fighting over us? Yes please.

12 Jul 2016 09:05:25
£60 million for Wolves? They could have bought Aston Vile for that. Morgan obviously wasn't leaving until he got every penny, as usual.

12 Jul 2016 09:10:53
I belive it to be just Li. there's been load pf cross reports, but Li is most consistant.

12 Jul 2016 09:22:07
Theres loads of press outside molineux.

12 Jul 2016 09:49:44
Could have brought villa for that but would also have taken on a club with 30 million of debt and a wage bill that's double the size of ours for a squad of players who proved last season aren't good enough for the premier league. So I see it as a positive sign for us as they obviously see it as a chance to build a squad good enough to become established in the league as opposed to trying to do it with dead wood.

12 Jul 2016 09:53:12
Still not much coverage in the national press, if anything at all. Does that show how irrelevant Wolves have become? Or is it lazy British journalism or too much focus on the Premier League?

12 Jul 2016 10:21:23
It's being orchestrated as a big splash, so I guess we'll see nothing in National Press till it's official, but maybe today if Press gathering at Mol is correct?

And yes, as Championship Wolves don't matter - I was surprised but it's definitely how it is, the National press almost completely ignored that we'd been sponsored by Moneyshop and had a 14k+ petition against it, if that had been a Prem club would have been all over National sports news. It's why (certainly if it's Robin Li rather than Ding Lei) this is so ace, because the World is changing, going global, only Prem and other Countries top Division equivalents matter now, and we were getting left behind in the Championship completely and permanently.

12 Jul 2016 11:13:18
I don't care if it Ding Lei, Robin Le, or Bruce Lee for that matter, I for one will be happy in a takeover that will inject some new ideas and fresh direction into WWFC. Some of the quotes regarding Ding Lei being a dissapointment are a joke, quit ya moaning and embrace a new horizon.
OUT OF DARKNESS COMMENTH LIGHT.

12 Jul 2016 11:27:40
Well said Sydney Wolf 🐺.

12 Jul 2016 11:48:25
Ding Lei is potentially no different from a hoard of other rich foreign owners of British football clubs, for all we know Ding could be another Viktor Tan with crazy ideas, he has money but it takes more than that and we have no evidence he has it. Plus the link with him looking to invest in Zimbawe, in the Robert Mugabe regime is appalling. I'm not embracing an owner that is willing to be involved in Zimbawe, SJH would spin in his grave.

Whereas Robin Li is something really special, he might be worth £11billion now, but it's from innovation rather than licensing (like Ding) , so in a few years time as his innovations grow, he could be worth massively more, like over $50billion. He is connected to UN, has proper understanding of Western business and culture. By association he would naturally gift the club and Wolverhampton a very positive image, Ding wouldn't.

12 Jul 2016 13:24:45
Interesting observations Ulf.
The wall of silence is incredibly frustrating. but I see it as clear evidence change is in the air. just hope it is as exciting as we are all imagining!

12 Jul 2016 13:52:28
Ulf, I have read a lot of your posts in the past, whether long or short.
Some of the stuff you have to say is very interesting, some other not so much, where do you get all your information from? Are you a politician 😆

Joking aside, when the tumours or Ding Lei appeared 6 months ago or so, I don't remember anything untowards him then, nor do we really know anything other than what we can read on internet about Robert li, they both are a unknown until recent press, so I embrace it, neither will be any worse than the current regime which is draining out beloved club of anything it has.

12 Jul 2016 14:02:34
I have missed you Ulf.

I am very interested to see how the club and the brand is marketed globally.

12 Jul 2016 15:08:52
lol I google loads and follow tangents, add that to my mine of useless information, pictures come together and then I try to paint them :-)

It seems Ding Lei was touted as being interested in Wolves in December, maybe just because he was in the area - at the time he was travelling outside of China, that maybe included Europe, maybe even Wolverhampton, but apparently definitely included him visiting Zimbawe to consider investing there. That's such a bad connection, Robert Mugabe gets his forces AK47's from China, which is kind of illegal as his forces have a habit of committing crimes with them. Our Monarchy won't even talk to Robert Mugabe, so I don't think S-Union-JH would want his beloved Wolves selling to someone who'd consider investing in, is maybe even to some extent already involved in Zimbawe (like many Chinese already are) .

That aside, there's nothing bad against Ding Lei, and he does have money, and the club need a new wealthy owner. He's just not automatically incredibly good like Robin Li is, who's like a Chinese Richard Branson. If Robin Li I think it's safe to assume we are in the best hands possible, if it's Ding Lei imo he'll need to prove himself.

and re WABFK Ty, though I'm not sure many miss me - I got put on 24hour delayed pre-mod on Mol Mix ages ago, and even though my posts then got vetted by a Mod first before being posted, I still got warnings! They so wanted me not to post :-P.

12 Jul 2016 00:36:22
Wolves extremely close to signing two Manchester United players. Steve Bruce has confirmed that Nick Powell has agreed to sign for us - Hull had previously tried to sign him. Also, Mourinho has put Tyler Blackett up for sale. We're expected to submit a bid of £500k with bonuses for appearances bringing the fee closer to £750k - though it's unlikely that deal will be finished until a takeover is complete.

12 Jul 2016 09:02:59
they've been scouting Wilson and Fletcher from Man Utd for some time, if this helps.

12 Jul 2016 14:44:46
Damn it, Wigan are supposedly close to signing Powell on 3 year contract - Daily Mail.

12 Jul 2016 00:22:58
I'm just the messenger, shoot someone else.

The FA has reportedly given the greenlight to Chinese billionaire Robin Li's takeover of Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to reports on social media, paperwork on the deal - which will see Li buy out current owner Steve Morgan for a figure believed to be between £40m and £60m - was completed on Monday afternoon.

The club is said to be planning to formally announce the takeover on Tuesday, ten months after Morgan decided to put the side up for sale.

Li's estimated fortune of £10.6 billion would make Wolves the English side with the second wealthiest full owner, behind only Premier League heavyweights Manchester City.

Rumours have suggested that Li's first act as owner will be to replace manager Kenny Jackett with former Porto boss Julen Lopetegui.

12 Jul 2016 08:12:42
Someone just said moxey going to London today so doubt there will be an announcement.

12 Jul 2016 08:21:12
Does Moxey need to be there, didn't Morgan put someone else in the job of brokering the deal.

12 Jul 2016 08:37:33
Dantheman is right, he even took photos of Moxey on the train haha. Although it doesn't need Moxey to announce the takeover. Surely it would be Morgan and Li?

12 Jul 2016 09:12:46
Thought QPR were second richest club there owner worth $14 billion.

12 Jul 2016 10:05:49
Supernoodle Mittal of qpr is only a part owner I believe 33% which is why would make us 2nd richest in terms of full ownership.

12 Jul 2016 10:19:30
Hednesford, that was St Paul who said that not me :)

12 Jul 2016 10:21:16
Poxey off to London to be interviewed for vacant England Managers job.

11 Jul 2016 23:40:15
Once takeover completed, I heard a rumour that Julen Lopetigui is a fan of Odegaard and wants to sign him on loan and then look to sign him permanently if he impresses. Thoughts anyone?
