Rumour on twitter going round is that the fee for Kenwyne Jones is £5m but I highly doubt this, by my reckoning the fee will be in excess of £6.5m from what I've heard so far as the clubs firm out agreements, but today was another building block as the clubs agreed contractual terms as part of the agreement that would see Jones with Wolverhampton Wanderers before the end of the January transfer window.

morgan has put an extra 2m into the north bank and has said he will spend more as long as we dont go into the red however he aslo said he will asses the situation over the next 2 weeks to see if we need players over phase 2 of the new molineux

I have waited until now to clarify issues. As you know I've given you inside information on speculative bids before:
Wolves are chasing two more signs on a permanent basis and a possible loan deal.
Jones of stoke is a target and discussions are taking place. Stokes valuation is somewhat higher than wolves but take it from me that talks are positive.
The other is a centre half. Various names have been touted. But from what I hear is a move for onuoha is unlikely due to high wage demands. However, bashing again being mentioned as I said in the summer he was a target. Spurs won't let bashing go unless either samba or another cd signs for them. Expect movement but I can confirm the strongest talks are with that of jones.

Ian Evatt will NOT sign for wolves! Wolves will be going backwards if they even think of making an offer. I went to school with Evo and watch him during games HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! He was 1 of Blackpools downfalls in the prem. I cant believe someone even mentioned his name.

Wolves are in talks over Nedum Onouha and Sebastien Bassong to add to their defensive ranks. Kewyne Jones deal has hit a hitch as both teams are struggling to agree a fee for the hit man. (BOB LASETT)
