I am hearing that the 2 other players Wolves are signing on Loan are Chelsea 17 Year old Defender Nathan Ake and Man City Striker John Guidetti.

{Ed011's Note - There are a helluva lot of teams around after John Guidetti on loan with a lot of them in their respective first divisions and able to offer more in terms of wages and bonuses. I had also heard in the newspapers that Mancini wants to use him to fill the void that Balotelli has left at least until the summer so I would be surprised if we were able to get him on loan to be honest.

Don't know about Ake too, he can play left back but he's primarily a CB and if I was Chelsea I wouldn't be loaning him out to play out of his main position, we wouldn't be bringing him in on loan to play at CB now we've just bought Gorkss in. Plus would we be throwing a 17 year old into our defence right now? I mean I know Luke Shaw at Southampton is 17 but we're a team without confidence in a defence that is seriously under performing and that's not the situation you want to throw an inexperienced player into.

At least we could guarantee Guidetti a game every week however I doubt this will tempt him given our current position of "struggling Championship team" quote from tv teletext.

Top flight teams can't sign loan players at the moment so that does help. But I can assure you every single Championship team will want to sign him. At the moment there are many championship teams he would prefer to go to.

Fryers would be an interesting signing. Lightning fast left back, would be an exciting left flank with him and Sako!

So much for Fryers and Jones coming in today cock and bull stories again I wish some people got a life and got true facts first

Saundders has said he wants to loan players who we can keep and buy for next season so I highly doubt we will get fryers

I went and watched the 21's at the Molineux monday night and to be honest the young lad McAlinden would be a breath of fresh air as far as strikers go for us at the moment I had heard about him but now I have seen him for my self he is very very good and well worth having on the bench.

Kaspar Gorkss (Spelling?) has officially signed on a 93 day loan from Reading. Left sided central defender. Replacement for Berra? Anyone ever seen him play? Pictures on line make him look like a war criminal/Bond villain. No bad thing to have in defence if you ask me!

He's a strong solid centre back. I've seen him a fair amount in the championship and I have to say I think it's just what we needed. Hopefully he goes with Baath and Gorkss, but I've got a feeling he won't.

Let the moaning begin. On another positive note, were also looking for a left back & striker.

I think this is exactly the type of player we need to bolster the defence at the moment. Experience and a desire to play.

I'd like to see him along side Danny Batth from now on as Berra and Johnson just aren't coping with the pressure currently. I'm excited to see how much of a difference this makes to our defence!

He's in the craddock mould of a centre half. Good positioning, good in the air. He is proven at this level, so a loan for the rest of the season is ideal. Miles better than Berra. I have never seen anyone in professional football with a worse kicking action than Berra. His technique is terrible, but he is a good wrestler.

If we sign him in the summer I would question the clubs ambitions as he has proven he struggles to make the step up to the premier league. But we can't even think about that at the moment. All that matters is the rest of the season and making sure the unthinkable doesn't happen.

People saying he hasn't made the step up to the prem, he hasn't had a real try as have only played about 12 times this year, but in the championship I think he is an ideal defender and a far better signing than berra and johnson would be. improvement in weak positions from saunders, already doing what the 3 previous managers have failed to do

If Batth and Gorkss are to play together as a pairing then our defence will serverly lack pace. Wolves are already a slow team and has no-one that's quick apart from Sako maybe? Ward - slow, Foley - ok, Batth - slow and Gorkss - slow. If the ball is being played inforont of them then fine but up againt a small, quick striker with balls played over the defence then we're going to struggle. Berra 'yes' is shocking but he is Wolves quickest player over 100 meters. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
