So close I wish he was a Torres not a Torras. Seen a few goals on YouTube and he looks decent. He'll play for the under 21s this season and be ready within next season or the season after. We have a habit of letting good young players go and we produce good ones as well such as:
Robbie Keane
Elliott Bennett (he's ok)
Mark Davies
Joleon Lescott

You never know what will happen to:
Sam Winnal
Johnny Gorman

We will make Evans, Macca, and Cass good players {Ed011's Note - Let's hope with Kenny Jackett things have changed.

Torres would probably fall out of favour here. I bet he couldn't hit a barn door in League One either.

Robbie Keane and Jolean Lescott weren't let go. They were sold for multi-millions. Mark Davies chose to walk at the end of his contract. Elliott Bennett was the only one given a free.

Mark Davies was sold for £1m in 2009.

Mark Davies was sold for a fee rising to 2million.

He was under 23 so Bolton had to pay compensation. He wasn't sold.

Considering he left in January I think you'll find he was sold. No long term professional contracts end in January.

He handed in a transfer request, we offered him a new deal. He rejected it then we sold him for £1m rising to £2m.

Torres can't hit a barn door but got over 20 goals last season? god knows what that says about our strikers! lol

Didn't we get £400k for Bennett I'm sure we did.

We did get some money for Bennett, as for Mark Davies the club failed to sign him on a long term deal and left it too late before offering him a new one, by then his head had been turned. If we are not careful the same thing will happen with Baath whose contract runs out at the end of the season.Only Baath is over the age restriction and we would get no compensation for him.

I've heard that we've signed 17 year old Barcelona B youth player Albert Torras. Sounds like a odd one but would be very interesting if true. I'm keeping my ear to the ground will have more when it comes.

17 yr old midfield player from Barca B - scores a very good goal on a Youtube clip

It is true. he's a midfielder. there's footage of him on molineux mix website. scouting system strikes again.

To be fair, I think there is a video of me scoring a belter from outside the box on youtube. let's see how he gets on before we get excited.

Just as it looked like we were giving up on overseas players.

Strange one this. Why would a 17yo leave Spain for a third tier overseas club?

Because he knows we are in a false position, can see we have won more than anyone in the bottom 2 leagues and are bound to be back to where we belong soon?

That's what he's been told is it? Well it's a brave (or smart, depending on your view) move for the boy.

I hope someone told him he'll be kicked around in our leagues and will spend most of his time injured.

Our under 21 team are in the top sector of youth football its nothing to do with being in league 1.Anyway its an ideal platform for any young player to progress that's why all young players want to come to Wolves. We are building for the future its going to be a great few years to come.

I'll agree with that much. Although the overpaid first team failed us, our youngsters punch well above their weight. I can see some of them leaving us by this time text year but hopefully by then there will be replacements and their transfer fees to spend.

Hennesey to be loaned to Yeovil for a month.
Source official wolves website.

Surprise. Still think he is our best keeper. Ready to cash in in January.

Good move for us. get him fit and back in the side

Gives him game time. Sensible move.

Wolves are ready to snap up Australian striker Patrick Antelmi today - after he walked out on Blackburn.

The 19-year-old impressed on trial at Rovers but could not agree terms.

Now Perth-born Antelmi is heading for Molineux, where boss Kenny Jackett is expected to sign immediately.

Sweet, it would be great to have a fellow Aussie in are Club

wolves fc to sign australian Patrick Antelmi who impressed on trial at blackburn but he couldn't agree terms with them and looks like he might come to us.

kevin doyle linked to hull city for 3 million but will have to take a massive pay cut.

aston villa linked to Sochaux winger Ryad Boudebouz if it goes through then sochaux are keen to get boukari

We already have Macca and cassidy in that age range. Wold like to see us get a striker a lil bit older and more older and experienced.

Lets put it this way if antelmi got in to our 1st team next season or so and scored 15-20 goals would you moan and say we need experience no and anyway he will be in the u21s

11 Aug 2013 22:53:17
Doyle linked with hull now according to the papers. wages an issue tho

Wages will always be an issue, not just with Doyle but with other players earning more than 20K per week.

That's why they aren't getting games [1]. It's a ploy to get them to move now rather than later, when their pay at a new club would be even worse. It's a cruel world.

[1] Doyle and Sako seem to be in the team, though. Presumably we reckon we can sell these players mroe easily than Ward, O'Hara and Johnson.

Official club text have confirmed they have had no contact from Hull regarding Doyle.
