Rumours circulating that we are about to take Michael Jacobs on loan from Derby until January.

Anyone know anything about him?

Seems like a lot of foaming County fans on social media which implies a good player. Bit of competition for Sako can only be a good thing.

I'll trust KJ's judgement on this for now. His signings have all been astute so far

Now let's see if we can see some Jacob's crackers.

Well people here have been saying that our midfield looks a bit limp, and KJ has brought in 3 new midfielders now - 4 if you count O'Hara, and Golbourne isn't bad in LM either. In fact we have so many midfielders I can see us loaning out a couple just to balance the books.

Friend of mine from Stourbridge said he was speaking to Danny Batth at a family event said he has been offered a new deal but wants more money and if it isn't sorted soon he will leave in the summer.

I think we should break the bank as I am sure he will not be on a large wage compared with the JOH'S of this world. It' time KJ stepped in & retained our most pomising player if he wants to keep him. He has already said he is our best defender and exciting prospect. MM or the owls would not hesitate as numerous other clubs would bite our hands off.

He's our best defender in years. And has the potential to be even better than favourites like Craddock. I guess the new deal is already worth a lot more to Danny than his current deal and it probably has promotion clauses in it, which might be an annoyance this early in the season.

Danny will likely hold out because he will get offers from Championship sides or even Premier sides anyway. Well I would if I was him!
