If morgan lets Johnson go,it will prove hes no ambition and all he cares about is money.Ive allways said he should be driven out of our club.
Yes , Wolves getting promoted won't bring in millions (I believe eighty million ?) so Morgan clearly has no business acumen what so ever. Think before you type.
How are we going to get promoted selling our best players,YOU should think before you type.
{Ed011's Note - I doubt it's Johnson going, all the stuff with last season is in the past now and he's been our best defender by far last season. Plus he was in Ireland with a couple of the others members of the squad including Wardy and Doyle after the Bristol City match and I'd be doubtful he'd be going out like that if he was off in January.

Stale stated he was "under pressure" to get wolves back to the prem. surely when he took the job he would have had certain promises,he does seem his own man so can't believe it will be a wages issue if he wants to keep Johnson and Ohara he will.surprise departure seb would be my bet or maybe one of the new boys haven't settled.

I like him i think he sturggled lasy year but as uve said he most likely had alot of pressure off mick ad he was getting pressure about paying his wages.
He looks suited to stale play and hes really stood out this year along with the return of foley. I still feel we need a new LB and i dont reli rate berra and apparently hes leaving so a replacment for him wud be gd to,
then just all are injuries returning and FRIMPONG!! and an experiencd strickler please

MM got the sack because we stagnated for 3 seasons in the Prem after he did a great job in getting us there. Nothing to do with dressing room rifts etc. He took us as far as he could. Simple as that!
The reason the fans are changing their minds on Johnson is because he had a great reputation, then was rubbish for us, now he is better. I still think he is too slow and his inertia at the back makes us play too deep. A decent ball playing CB please SS. Like the 3 you tried to sign in summer.
Why hasnt thick mick come in for these crap players he payed stupid money for cos they are no bloody good

All this from member of staff at wolves......Johnson the surprise departure (wages) Blake to ipswich 500k he's refused a 1 year extension, berra to sign new deal pizza man and cassidy to replace the above. Propbably no new sigmings because Morgan wants to see massive improvements from SS before a new 1 year deal is agreed. Stone wolf.

Johnson's wages too high ? it was written into ALL Wolves players contracts that should wolves be relegated they must take a 50% wage cut. That is why if QPR go down none of their marque signings have this in their contracts.
All salaries reduced except Johnson and o'hara. Both on approx 40k. Stone wolf.
I think you will find Berra is pretty close to the top of the wage structure. When we signed him he was linked to teams who were above our position. If he already knows who is going SS must have a replacement lined up?

Non of the defenders we have are good enough for the prem. So we must try and sign 1-2 defenders this window. Otherwise if we went up via the play off's we would need to replace all in 1 go. What we sign may not be good enough but we should at least try and improve. Prferably Ward and Berra would be replaced but any wouldn't be a huge problem.
Johnson can go as far as I'm concerned he is a good blocker but no pace in a pacey game is a recipe for disaster.

Dear Santa, all I want for Xmas is a new CH, LB and an experienced striker. Sorry if I am greedy but could I also have some injured players fit again : ideally JOH, Peszko and Boukari. If my wish is granted then 2013 will be a lot better than 2012 (not difficult I hear you say). Barry

The biggest surprise would be one of the new signings. But a big surprise from Stale's point of view might be quite different to your or mine.
Sadly its Karl Henry Sunderland bound.Muted this some weeks ago,oneill is a big admirer and he has lost cattermole to injury.Hope we get good money big loss imo.
If it is karl we should get a fair bit as he signed a year deal last year?
Unsure about this one though, hes wolverhampton born and wolberhampton through and through especially going to a struggling sunderland team well see though be intresting.

Id quite happily see the EBANKS, WARD, STEARMAN, ZUBAR, HUNT, EDWARDS go and if berra wants to leave him to and let stale bring in some more good players.
I also think if were not going to use players like bath and forde why not loan them out rather then have them sit there!

Interesting , I read on the main rumours page that Wolves have sent scouts , it says nothing about a fee at all. As for the typical Jez bit , most other clubs look to buy youth team players and develop them. Like Nick Powell who United bought from Crewe , or Tank who we bought from Walsall.
