so solbackken over here for talks but he wont say who big weird linked with wolves yesterday n toay he was having a meeting hmm

Hopefully could be a good move someone fresh to assess the squad and play the team his own way and get rid of te clutter including TC

If Solbakken comes to wolves it will be without staff,Tc would stay, and personally I wouldn't mind as long as he isn't manager,he's not cut out for it I'm afraid

Solbakken would bring some of his own staff though, just like when he took assistent coach Bard Wiggen with him to Germany.

Guardian reporting that he will be revealed in a couple of days.

And also BBC

Solbakken to be unveiled as manager within 48 hours tim Nash has confirmed it on twitter.uptw

On Solbakken's wiki page it already shows wolves in the managed clubs section that he was appointed on 10th May(today), How can this be , have i missed something

Come on the Hammers on the 19th. Let's get Holloway. Anybody that doesn't enjoy watching the style his teams play these days is never going to be pleased. It's attack minded, exciting and would have people returning to the Mol to fill up any new stands being developed. That = more profit, better players etc.

Although I completely agree with you that holloway should be our first choice, the problems lie with the fact he may play brilliant attacking football, but he always buys terrible defenders. And we both know it won't take long before our own fickle fans will get on his back when we are scoring 3 but conceding 4. I would love holloway as I just want to see good football played. But it won't happen. And before anyone slags off my post, I really don't care about your opinion. So do yourselves a favour a do one you boring wolves mires, shut up and back your team. It could be worse. We could have an owner who ran us into the ground like Portsmouth.

If its true that Solbakken is the manager of wolves next year you have got a young and forward coming coach. He is is a very talented coach.

take a look at this:

That was funny thats what we need a manager to put em in place

Stick him in a room with Roger Johnson and see what happens...

Stick anybody in a room with John Sitton. If you don't believe me put his name into youtube and enjoy.

Don't think Morgan will be barging in on him after the match!

Have a look at the one with Stale and Pep Guardiola ... he went after him too!

Poyet to Wolves ? good shout at the very least.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2142098/Gus-Poyet-wanted-Aston-Villa-West-Brom-Wolves.html

So he's linked with all of us then ? guess we'll be back of the cue with what moxey would offer him

If West Ham lose to Blackpool (which I personally expect to happen) then I can see Gus replacing Sam there. In which case it's Sam to Villa or Albion.

And when the merry-go-round finishes, we'll end up with McLeish :-(

What when sam grew up a wolves fan noway albion will get him

2 key decisions have to be made one appoint a director of football thus ending moxeys interference on the playing side and 2nd a proper manager come on steve time to act

Why not hes already been assistant manager there and may have even played for them!

Im got nothing personel against terry connor but his record of club management of 3 points from 30 does and would not if anyone else warrant even an interview wolves will keep him on im old enough to remember tony parks at blackburn he filled in which i expect connor to perform as he has done whilst reverting back to the background

I spoke to Karl Henry at the Wolves end of season dinner. I asked him if he was going to leave and about Villa sniffing around and he said NO that he would not be leaving Wolves this summer.
DB

I hope this is true DB , Henry is the pantomime villain.
Gibo.

Did you tell him that you'd drive him there if he reconsidered ? i would of.

Shame lol

But it's not summer yet.

It is true, if he does go then he lied to me and I will be very disappointed in him for doing so. Another thing I've heard (possibly not true because no direct contact) but my Dad said his mate was introduced to Ian Holloway at a local pub called the Nags Head, don't know where it is to be honest. I'm very skeptical about it, with him in the play off final I'd seriously doubt he'd be anyway near Wolvo until after the final.
DB

The summer is going to be full of wolves fans driving players to new clubs apparently!
