Been told from a few people wolves care looking to conclude all transfer business before announcing take over.

11 Jun 2016 07:17:30
This would make sense, as soon as other clubs were aware of a takeover they would immediately inflate their transfer prices in response to our new financial state.

11 Jun 2016 07:42:56
What happens if any takeover collapses? Wolves would be left with the bill. Also, with the new fit and proper persons test it would take a while even after any takeover was announced before it could be completed with approval from the football league.

I read one post saying a the takeover, and I'm not at all convinced it is happening, would happen in July. With the fit and proper persons test you could add a couple of months onto that before completion. Plenty of time for something to go wrong. I doubt Wolves would want to be left with a transfer bill to pay, especially as our revenue as go down dramatically this season.

11 Jun 2016 07:57:33
What if the takeover is complete, would they have to announce it right away? If not, would they not wait until they have conducted their transfer business first.

11 Jun 2016 08:08:35
The f&ppt don't take that long just look at villa only been just under month since take over m they got their guy through so who knows what wolves doing sure we find out in time.

11 Jun 2016 11:49:23
So please explain why they want to conclude all transfer business before takeover? Where is the money coming from for the transfers? Makes no sense at all.

11 Jun 2016 13:58:57
Aston villas fit and proper test has took a matter of days to conclude all will be signed before we announce sale could of already happened.

Lead to believe its poker face time.
Morgan has got what he wants.
Two bids on the table, so now he can play the game.
Could be a bluff from redman but believe that the shaking of hands isn't that far away.
Again guys don't shoot the messanger, my eyes and ears, gives me what he can.

12 Jun 2016 10:56:58
Whats your money on Realist?

Indian or Chinese takeaway!

12 Jun 2016 17:57:24
billionaires or millionaires?

12 Jun 2016 19:31:58
American or Chinese, would be my bet.
American interest is long standing.

12 Jun 2016 19:57:18
Americans are creeping in to the game with Palace and Swansea both having US investors. My bet is on US investors looking to take a gamble to get in to the prem.

12 Jun 2016 22:04:45
It's not Americain money coming into the club. The money is coming from China. The deal is nearly done have patience some time in mid July is what I'm told as soon as it's announced the fit and proper test will take place and it will be a breeze

Out of darkness commeth light

We are nearly there!

is the Chinese consortium led by ding lei monswolf?

10 Jun 2016 18:44:19
I was talking to an Ex Wolves player last night who had played golf with Kenny Hibbit in Spain on Wednesday.

He stated that Kenny Hibbit was playing with an English business guy who had a foreign consortium behind him and that they had offered Morgan £30mil, Morgan wants £40 mil but a deal could be struck and negotiations could start soon.

10 Jun 2016 19:07:40
Which ex player was it?

10 Jun 2016 20:20:03
The deal in question has been on the table since almost the second wolves were put on the market. SM has been playing hard ball over the price. The deal is now almost done patience is needed now but as long as SM does not change his mind again it will be done by mid July.

Best thing Wolves could do is break the bank and bring Sako back, even if it meant paying him far more than the other players. Ironically, the basis of the old team is still there and he would fit like a glove. It would be a hell of a lot cheaper than doing what Jackett is doing right now in bringing in 3-4 new faces and increasing the wage bill tenfold - it would also increase massively Wolves' chances of promotion. Most fans would rather see Sako in a Wolves shirt again than pay yet more bench warmers for a lot more. It's so obvious, isn't it?

10 Jun 2016 11:25:35
Wolves looking to bring in kolo toure, apparently he's willing to drop his wage.

10 Jun 2016 11:51:42
If that happens disagreer the sale is def going through!

10 Jun 2016 12:54:23
Not good enough afraid we need winners not someone who only won few league n cup medals mean real winners some one with real experiance a leader in dressing room some one who would die for club someone who played in johnsons paint trophy 😂.

10 Jun 2016 14:06:58

10 Jun 2016 14:53:05
LOL - No chance.

10 Jun 2016 16:34:07
The kinda player we looking for is well thought off may have break tf budget get him may even be biggest wage at club ( yes even bigger than j Ohara wage ) u find these kind players in best league in world yes that's right wolves have hit the big time - valderama league here we come for all your mega stars 😂😂😂.

11 Jun 2016 08:32:36
Kolo will need to really drop his wage don't know what he's on but several times the average wolves salary this really won't happen unless money has suddenly appeared from somewhere.

{Ed001's Note - he is on nothing now he has been released, so not sure why he would have to 'drop his wage'.}
