GON charged by FA over behaviour following the West Ham game of last Saturday.

Enough is enough, it’s time that ALL Premier League clubs get together and charge the FA and VAR officials with bringing our National Game into dispute. Even the TV pundits that never see arguments from our Wolves prospective, have almost united in their condemnation of the totality unacceptable errors that have blighted our season - even Agbo the ‘I only see Villa in his eyes’ pundit, has come down on our side. GON is placid compared to Pep, Ten Hag and alike, yet he has nearly as many yellow cards as Joey Barton got in a season.

Jeff Shi spoke out, time to make these officials pay for there errors, starting with Howard Webb - couldn’t run a bath!

11 Apr 2024 18:25:08
GON should appeal and request that he gets the sane level of service that Mikel Arteta got in December when he called the officials an embarrasment and cheats. They overturned the decision even though on that occasion VAR had actually made the CORRECT decision.

11 Apr 2024 19:42:52
Nothing will change until clubs start standing together against the corrupted Premier league.

11 Apr 2024 22:42:13
The only problem with that though Rated, the clubs who have the ‘clout’ the power if you like, to stand up and make a difference, are the very same clubs who are, or appear to be, protected by the very same Premier League. The big boys won’t upset the men in charge, the men in charge don’t want to upset their star teams.

12 Apr 2024 02:58:58
Then it's upto the other 14 to make a stand make their voices heard, if the big 6 don't like it they can crack on and form their own league they won't be missed.

12 Apr 2024 06:12:52
If anything that just reaffirms the FA/premier/Sky6 cartel that looks after themselves and the money making. Won't accept they were wrong, won't allow anyone to question and don't want the 'smaller' teams to interfere with their 'business' models. We've been done out off so many points now when we could be surprisingly pushing for Europe. We could have a big say yet in the title race with arsenal City and pool to play, they wouldn't want Gary and his merry men upsetting the clique.
GON was quite reserved on sat. He went down the tunnel to avoid getting a third yellow, and restrained players from the ref at the end. So he gets charged for what? Telling the truth? That the ref wouldn't talk to him after and letting the public know? Or simply for pointing out what 99% of anyone interested knows, that VAR was wrong and that VAR pressurised and influences the ref to suit their whims? VAR acts sometimes like the fat controllers for the FA, deciding the fate of clubs. That level of influence, detached from the ground and club. Unaccountable and seemingly untouchable has to be removed from the game.
The experience of waiting minutes to see if a players toe or kneecap is beyond one of their 'lines' is not conducive to an enjoyable spectacle or competition, and to charges others for pointing out when it's wrong is just cowardness, scared that the grip may be weakened.

{Ed001's Note - I can't believe people are dumb enough to believe this Sky 6 nonsense. The Premier League teams have 1 vote each in every situation, which means the so-called Sky 6 have 6 and the rest have 14. There is no way of them working as a cartel. It is just nonsense.}

12 Apr 2024 07:21:51
I know there is some guidance on tv coverage Ed. But the use of Sky6 by myself is really which teams are more profitable to screen, Manchester/liverpool/London clubs will always attract more viewers than west midland/ East Midlands/east annglian etc. So tv companies know who their preferences are and they pay the FA. Hence can be inferred, admittedly when dubiius decisions go against your team.

{Ed001's Note - and why would they do that when the year Leicester won the league TV viewing figures increased?}

12 Apr 2024 07:48:05
Re GON charged,
If GON used inappropriate language (swearing) towards the referee then he's banged to rights.
Depends upon how aggressive he was too.

Re cartel big 6 I can't see it and even if it was there then I'd give up on wolves/football as is what's the point, as for along as I have a hole in my bottom I live in hope that one day we will be champions of England and the world.
Anyone in the world can laugh at me no probs like water off a ducks back.lol

12 Apr 2024 10:55:51
My point exactly Ed. Would Leicester have won the league if VAR had been used then?, in all seriousness its because we've been on the wrong end of VAR so many times that's galling me. Like phil above it's a dream to think we could be champions again but the inconsistent decisions stymie our chances of progression.
There is no doubt the game is about money now and not the 'honest' entertainment we oldies once enjoyed.
Obviously TV/FA/premier plan to the financial ends, expecting paying fans to adapt to the changes in KO and timings to maximise them, and there on choosing for the bigger audience. Back to Leicester, we'll they couldn't ignore them, everyone lives the underdog and it shows how refreshing it is to have a club outside the 6 win it.

{Ed001's Note - there is almost certainly corruption involved but it is not a 'Sky 6' v the rest. When there is so much money involved, you would have to be naive or deluded to believe there is not going to be any corruption.}

10 Apr 2024 08:27:41
Getting really close at both ends of the championship league.
Birmingham are in real trouble sunk to second from bottom but play at home tonight to Cardiff.
A longtime suffering bluenose work colleague is going to that match tonight fairplay to him.

Any preferences of who you prefer to get promoted?
Could go down as further as 10th place as one of the 3 promoted teams.
I don't want west brom to come up for obvious reasons.
Leicester Leeds Southampton Ipswich my 4 best favourites to come up.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2024 08:33:52
Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich. NOT Leeds!

10 Apr 2024 10:58:59
Any three that aren’t going to be better than us 😁 especially if and when they either don’t back Gary or manage to lose him.

10 Apr 2024 13:25:30
Won't be popular but Leicester Ipswich and Coventry for me phil.

10 Apr 2024 17:17:44
Ipswich, Preston and Leicester for me.

11 Apr 2024 06:31:37
Ipswich, Leicester and Norwich via the play offs

11 Apr 2024 09:39:09
I've got a sneaking suspicion that a side we dare not mention will come through the playoffs, Ipswich to take one automatic place, not sure about the other, I'll go leicester despite them being shaky in recent weeks.

11 Apr 2024 10:30:37
My work mate is gutted we know that feeling of relegation to league 1.
Of all the disappointment from posters since the bubble burst (sevilla and there after)
We are where we've longed for decades to be competing in the top flight and looking established.

It's August 2024.
Gary remains as manager, no fitness issues, we have sold 3 and brought in 5.
What's your starting 11?

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Apr 2024 06:03:02
Depends on who was sold and who was bought!

Did he sell Kilman, Joao and Cunha and replace them with Araujo, Bellingham, Camavinga, Haaland and Mbappe or 5 players from non league?

10 Apr 2024 06:54:12
That's all abit hypothetical waterloo, let's wait and see what the movements are, in out and shaking about as it were. We could be a largely different team to what we've seen this year.

10 Apr 2024 08:21:59
One thing I truly believe is that come August 2024 we will be stronger and better than this season.
New players of which will be GON'S first of his own signings.
GON'S first full close season.
Surely we will have a pre season tour not falling through like last two, a money and club profile making.

10 Apr 2024 19:37:31
Well said Phil, we need a pre season tour to market the club and increase our profile for potential investors.
Regarding 3 player outs - Silva, Geddes and Podence.
We should be in a much stronger position next season. Get any new signings in early so the team can hit the new season running.

09 Apr 2024 19:04:46
Who was the last player to leave Wolves to join Arsenal?

I'm asking because it seems that every day, the press write that Arsenal are about to sign one of our players.

Today's one is Joao Gomes.
This season its been: Sa, Kilman, Hwang, Neto and Cunha.

In the last few seasons, Jota, Raul, Neves.

Why?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2024 19:18:09
Guessing! Alan Sunderland.

09 Apr 2024 20:14:23
That's the last one I can think of too.

I just don't understand why all of our players are being linked to Arsenal.

09 Apr 2024 21:16:09
It's disrespect from the media, they link any decent players outside the big 6 to big 6 teams, lazy journalism to get clicks.

09 Apr 2024 21:24:19
I'd go Alan Sunderland but that's some years ago now.

09 Apr 2024 21:56:55
They just signed a 16 yr old from us apparently

10 Apr 2024 08:55:29
I agree with Rated RKO. These journalists/media have nothing to do except start stupid rumours, which people click on to read and it simply improves their watch numbers. Remember it's these same people who predicted us for relegation after losing JL and our top stars, where in truth only Neves was a first team regular. I find it frustrating also tbh, but they really haven't a clue. It'll get worse as the end of the season becomes ever closer and the transfer window opens.

10 Apr 2024 10:22:22
I would say high profile it's Sunderland, may be lower profile academy kids as well though.

10 Apr 2024 10:33:24
Before Alan Sunderland I think it was Eddie Clamp that caused quite a stir and of course Sir Billy as their manager. Far too young to remember Bryan Jones though!

10 Apr 2024 13:08:56
Predictive text. Bryn Jones

11 Apr 2024 09:40:26
They also signed Bob Wilson as a young kid.

09 Apr 2024 14:09:59
Atleast the masters starts this week. Something to look forward to :)

Nuno won't need any motivation against Wolves. During his brief stay at Spurs they beat Wolves twice. Once in the league, the other in the cup. The Kiwi Chris Wood almost slways seems to score against us. It will be a tough match.

10 Apr 2024 11:03:47
Not to mention a certain MGW.

09 Apr 2024 07:45:27
It's Tuesday morning and looking forward to the Forrest game with West Ham fiasco now a distant memory.
Dawson needs to come back in, Kilman been very poor since Dawsons injury.
Is Hwang near to playing again?
Hopefully Ait Norri will be fit as he was key in what I thought was one of best first half team performance at home this season.
Forest game will wide open, fighting for their lives, Wood always scores against us.Will be happy with a draw and 10 points from our remaining games.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Apr 2024 09:18:55
I find it very frustrating regarding what comes out of Wolves regarding injury progress. Regardless it does say Ryan's injury wasn't too serious and he should be ok for the W/E. Yes getting the players back is great, but it takes time for them to pick up any sort of good form, although at least we'll pose a threat. For me Dawson is key. We have looked awful without him organising the back line. Wood always used to Bully Coady, not sure he'll do that against Dawson (Hopefully). I still like Nuno and what he did for our club, but I really hope we batter them 0-3 is my prediction.
