The Wolves dressing room would have been very subdued after the game . Players thinking what happened out there, beaten again in Fergie time.Coventry wanted it more. Excuses, leg weary, injuries. A mini break before Aston Villa.

16 Mar 2024 16:40:31
I think its time to cash in on neto.out for9weeks!. he's never fit for long enuf.sell neto andRAN for 150mil and rebuild the entire team

16 Mar 2024 16:41:22
It doesn't surprise me, with pretty much our entire attack out injured and little in the way of replacement due to running with a threadbare squad we offered little.

However, those last minute goals, AGAIN, are just ridiculous. Still suffering from the consequences of the previous poor buying decisions leaving us exposed to ffp as a result, I'm afraid.

16 Mar 2024 16:54:17
And who exactly is going to pay that kind of money for Neto?

16 Mar 2024 17:06:45
Agree Long. We are paying for the gross financial miss-management in previous years.
Didn't deserve to win today.even so, had the chance and blew it.

16 Mar 2024 18:13:40
We need new signings in the summer of which I'm sure we will make.
We've been fortunate with injuries up until recently but there no excuses for the woeful display today.
The players and manager today are to blame.
It was a q/f for goodness sake, no desire no will to win.

Our players wearing the wolves shirt let us down and more than capable to of won this game.

16 Mar 2024 19:10:12
Totally agree Phil, the desire wasn't there, God knows why, if you can't be up for a home tie in the fa cup quarters then there's something wrong, no matter who pulls the shirt on

16 Mar 2024 19:18:56
Neto AND RAN. got to be at least 120mil.surely.AND ANOTHER THING. I trusted gon to get it right today with the limited squad resources that we have. And he got it badly wrong. making changes when we go1down.so he was happy with how it was going until then?i bloody wasnt.the season could implode on us now.so injuries apart wel see how good a manager he is now won't we.but its time to giv doc a permanent rest and play hugo instead.

16 Mar 2024 19:21:06
Even more deluded than the ones at work getting 150m for Neto and ran. Must mean Bailey is worth 200m.

16 Mar 2024 19:25:28
Phil, I’ve been to 5 semi finals and believe me no one is more disappointed than me . I half guessed it would be a hard task today but to lose it in the way we did was cruel. We looked tired and Coventry raised their game but I’m not laying blame at the players or the manager. Sh*t happens!

16 Mar 2024 20:06:32
Respect your opinion 47vintage,
Was a bad day today as you say *hit happens.

16 Mar 2024 18:15:12
I thought babacar Traore was worth an appearance today.

16 Mar 2024 18:40:15
The most disappointment was conceding two when we could/should have seen the game out. We gave the ball away too often today and that's cost us in the last few minutes again. Had we have won we'd admit we were lucky, but in the end we couldn't do the basics in defending our lead, so we deserved it. Sad day and now I worry for the rest of the season.

16 Mar 2024 20:34:35
Thanks Phil. Really can’t work out what happened in the last 10 minutes. Coventry obviously raised their game and we had nothing left in the tank. Still very proud of what we’ve achieved this season.

17 Mar 2024 09:17:45
Well said Phil789. Why GON bought Doc on instead of Traore I'll never know. I like Doc, but he did virtually nothing. Traore is full of running and he's great at breaking up play. Hate to say it but that was a mistake by GON today. I'm just so fed up that we missed a golden opportunity for a semi final place. All the difficult teams we've beaten to get this far and we blow it big style. The silence coming out of Molineux from either GON or I guess Kilman as captain on such a shambolic performance is deafening.

17 Mar 2024 14:24:47
Superjack2 is that the same Leon Bailey who missed an open goal against wolves last season 😂😂

16 Mar 2024 15:25:17
Absolutely shocking performance by Wolves Coventry could have been 3-0 before half time. The second half didn't improve much till we scored then got the second. Shut up shop but not Wolves how many times did we give the ball away. Unforgivable the way we played get the season over and hopefully spend some money and get 3 or 4 new players rant over.

16 Mar 2024 17:01:19
I think the game showed clearly how thin our squad is. Some youngsters with potential, but not ready yet. Bad luck to have 3 main strikers out, but Neto seems prone to injury, and if he stays he is unlikely to do a full season. Dawson was a big loss and we badly need another centre back of his stature. We seem to be able to introduce one new player with a full side and maintain momentum, but today was a lot of non-regulars. Grateful for the break to sort some injuries out.

16 Mar 2024 17:17:50
Coventry City were worthy winners. If we didn't already know it, today proved that our squad is not strong enough. Anyway, hopefully our injured players will be back soon and we can concentrate on winning a European place. No major problems.

16 Mar 2024 14:33:07
Taking consolation from the fact we never deserved to win. Totally outplayed. Sa and Ait-Nori only guys played well. Semedo deserved a red card as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Mar 2024 14:42:03
Very poor but too many injuries

16 Mar 2024 14:51:02
We missed Dawsons organisation at the back, Neto, Hwang and Cunha driving the opposite defence back.

Nathan Fraser simply is not good enough.

16 Mar 2024 14:54:33
The entire game plan seemed poor nigelt2, from the off. Passing was poor running was poor, defending woeful. Players going to the same positions, players hold out hands wanting someone to move. GON knew he'd got it wrong when Sa was 'injured' and he called outfield to the dugout for instruction. We were chasing the ball with little awareness. The injuries obviously made a difference but we were awful. Coventry should have been out of sight and credit to them. But I feel let down today.

16 Mar 2024 14:56:04
VAR, 5 minutes to make the wrong decision ; Lemina stood on the left touchline most of game ; My recycling bin would have done better than Fraser! I'm going to bed! FWAW .

16 Mar 2024 15:17:59
Very poor today. Worst I've seen Lemina play. Let's be honest if not for Sa it could have been worse. RAN was excellent again, but everyone else today was poor. What frustrates me most is that this on paper was the easiest draw. Home against a lower league club and after the difficult games we've had to reach this position. We made Coventry look good. They'll get battered in the semi's. That's not sour grapes it's just a remark on how poor we were today.

16 Mar 2024 15:20:11
Disgusting from the players all of them except for RAN and Sa need to be docked wages.

16 Mar 2024 15:24:35
My dream became a nightmare.

16 Mar 2024 15:37:14
Fraser hardly won a header. Didn't trouble the defender. Very poor. I know he's one of our own but I don't think he is Premier League level. Hopefully Neto, Cunha and Bellegarde are back after the International break.

16 Mar 2024 15:55:27
Leave Fraser out of this. He would not be playing if we were not down to the bare bones. We wolves fans are the worst sometimes. He has great potential but let’s not do what we always do and get on his back. He has been thrown in the deep end. He hardly got any service today anyway.

16 Mar 2024 16:01:21
Dawson is the one we want back jas, get some organisation and drive in the back line.

16 Mar 2024 16:08:35
vbwolf, I get what your saying but answer me this.

What is the difference between the circumstances of Fraser being forced to play and when Fabio Silva was forced to play.

Why was it OK to lambast Fabio but not Fraser?

I'll tell you the difference: Fabio will always be judged differently based upon his transfer fee which was not his fault, but Fraser won't.

The fact is that neither are good enough.

16 Mar 2024 16:36:58
Lemina toti doyle tall bueno all garbage and sarabia .we shudv gone at them from the start not when 1down. anyway better to go out now than in the semis or lose in the fonal because with that side wed get battered by the other teams that are will be left in.

16 Mar 2024 18:00:36
Fabio is in same boat. But needs confidence and a run in a team. Fraser has played a couple of games and wants to be here. He can’t be judged on those few games. Needs a loan. Grow as a player. Last chance saloon for Fabio. He will be sold I’m sure.

16 Mar 2024 18:10:39
I agree vbwolf, I’m now understanding why other fans say what they do about us. Jas I used to think you were the voice of reason on here but lately not so much. The whole he’s not good enough jibe at various players is getting old. Your talking about a 19 year old who was making his second start, how can you pass judgment so easily. The whole team played badly, everyone loves RAN but he needlessly gave the ball away just before they scored when he could have taken it to the corner. Very poor game management and I think O’Neil is to blame. Tactics were wrong and he obviously hadn’t got the players in the right frame of mind. We had a poor game that doesn’t mean everyone’s not good enough, just underestimating our championship opponents again. On to the next one, focus on the league and bringing on some of the youth without telling them they aren’t good enough for us hopefully. I mean we are only wolves, I’m not sure what some people expect. Almost as bad as some Man Utd fans demanding their team be at the top, football doesn’t work like that.

16 Mar 2024 18:28:55
Wounding to watch but even more so for those who shelled out and was at the mol today.
Think tomorrow or when the pumped up frustration has gone there will be clear posts.

Imo Fraser had no service at all was a lone isolated figure if whang was fit can't see he doing much better today than Fraser.

16 Mar 2024 18:35:01
I'm not suggesting for one moment that Fraser can't make the grade but let's be brutally honest here. He hardly won a header, was out muscled and couldn't pass. I base my opinion on what I've seen in the last 2 games. I was there and believe me, he offered no threat. At least Fabio won headers or made runs into the box. Yes, he is inexperienced but if you ask me who I would rather have, Fabio or Fraser, I'd have to go with Fabio. I'm hoping Fraser will prove me wrong but from what I've seen, he is a long way off where we need him to be.

He needs a loan move but my point is, when Fabio was in the same position, the fans more or less drove him away.

Most fans I spoke to today said that Coventry deserved the win and they did. Does that make us a bad team? No. Maybe we should praise Coventry rather than saying we only lost because we played badly.

16 Mar 2024 13:41:33
We ought to be four down. Defence is useless. Getting opened up like a tin of sardines.

16 Mar 2024 14:15:41
Utter disgrace.
Hang your heads in shame
Lamina crap
Disgusted with all of them
Never watching them again
Good luck guys

16 Mar 2024 14:17:58
Can't defend for 5 mins

16 Mar 2024 14:18:05
Got what we deserved.lemina useless all day and at 2-1 up blows it for us.pathetic defending all day.and whoever they play in the semi will hammer them 4or5 nil

16 Mar 2024 14:22:55
I know there are players out, but really?!

Fully deserved by Coventry.

16 Mar 2024 14:23:56
Well, I agree Belfast, I almost agree greyleg. That was an awful performance, we rode our luck had abit of luck and then couldn't find it in ourselves to wind down time. Without Sa we'd have been hammered. RaN was everywhere but sarabia imo was the only one with a positive sight. Feel very disappointed with them, but I'll never give up on my wolves.
Covs 1st? Handball for me but what does it matter?

16 Mar 2024 14:25:55
Didn’t deserve anything, I think we underestimated Coventry. Tactics were a bit off for me, can’t rely on RAN need to have more faith in actual forward players. Bit of an over reaction greyleg but you were a lot more confident about beating them that I was so I guess it’s understandable.

16 Mar 2024 16:25:23
Suppose your right goatmark
Can't put into words how disappointed I am
But let's move on
But how we are missing a striker
Any way

16 Mar 2024 12:20:27
Done a different bet today 2 shots on target by Sarabia, Lemina and Sheaf 2+ fouls each in 90 minutes at 16-1
Scorewise I think 2-1 to Wolves

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Mar 2024 13:04:24
Well that's was Totally disappointing
Can only hope we improve
I'm sure we can.

16 Mar 2024 13:11:12
I think we seem to forget which way wer supposed to be attacking too often.and i'm sorry but fraser isn't even as good as silva

16 Mar 2024 13:15:26
Good luck with that rated! It's all very messy and tired first half, people in right places doing wrong things. We're getting ourselves in a mess. Abit tired?. Hopefully having survived that half well waken up.

16 Mar 2024 13:42:34
At moment.
It's embarrassing.
Prayers time I'm afraid
Second best, unbelievable,

16 Mar 2024 07:40:57
Really looking forward to the match, no prediction just the hope and belief that GON will get his team selection right and our class and experience will see us through.
Enjoy the game all of you going, and let us tv viewers hear you getting behind the lads.

If we beat Coventry today, we have a great chance to lift the cup. The most difficult team to face is Liverpool.

16 Mar 2024 09:19:06
I think that Wolves will win 3-0. It would be nice to see Fraser getting a brace, with Lemina getting the third. Come on you Wolves.

16 Mar 2024 09:20:13
Totally agree Abbeywolf.
Let’s see some pride and passion to carry us through.
UTW 🐺⚽️

16 Mar 2024 01:02:32
Wolves striker Nathan Fraser has turned down the opportunity to play for Ireland U21 due to concerns about getting injured with WWFC light on numbers.

Gary O'Neil confirmed it was the player's decision: "It's an individual decision that I didn't have any part in".

Credit to Talking Wolves.

16 Mar 2024 13:12:09
Yep.just a shame he's garbage tho

15 Mar 2024 17:18:15
According to FourFourTwo in relation to Stadiums in the UK, Ibrox was best and Parkhead (Celtic Park) second. Molineux came in 29th and (whisper it), Hawthorns 15th. Check it out but don't shoot the messenger!

15 Mar 2024 09:38:05
Yes, no replay!

15 Mar 2024 10:33:11
I checked rules and it will go to extra time and then penalties if still a draw.

I think we'll hammer them.

COYW

15 Mar 2024 11:49:58
It’s far from a formality Phil mate. Not just our injury depleted squad, but Cov will be far from a walkover. They’re in the quarters on merit, and if you’ve ever watched or seen any of their matches, they play a good, attractive, attacking game of football and they’ve scored quite a few cracking goals, a lot less f their goals coming from distance not from corners or goal area scramble. I reckon a 2-1 win for wolves mate.

15 Mar 2024 11:51:47
Wish I shared your confidence Phil. I think we'll do it but 'confidence' will play a big part. If they score first GONs going to have to get us going and get the crowd singing. If we score first I think you may be right. Fraser hat trick would be great, but I think sarabia and ran might sneak a goal. COYW, up for the cup!

15 Mar 2024 13:22:35
Whilst we have injuries to our frontline Coventry are in a similar situation with their midfield players. I'm baking us to win, it's not going to be easy but our midfield is one of the best there is Coventry will struggle against them. 2-0 or better to us I think!

15 Mar 2024 16:05:57
Abbey half time pie, yes I don't think it will be a pushover, but if GON has prepared properly we should be OK.

15 Mar 2024 22:06:45
I think we'll be up for this as it's the last game before the international break and a rest/recovery for the players. I normally hate these breaks in the season, but with our injury list think we need a short breather for the squad get their 'second wind'.
Coventry won't be easy, but pretty sure GON will emphasize this. Going 2-1 Wolves victory.

16 Mar 2024 06:43:44
Focus, focus lads. At it from the start please.

16 Mar 2024 14:18:47
How wrong was I?

14 Mar 2024 22:40:50
IF we beat Cov, it will be 5 weeks 'til the S/F (20/4). Half a chance of a full squad by then! FWAW .
