KJ needs to settle on his attacking selections. When the penny drops it will reap its reward and put us back onto the right path to achieving our promotion goal. All of the options have proven there worth in the past and are not lost causes, however much it might seem it at minute. Two forwards please less wingers in starting XL. The club needs fresh impetus show let's add a forward and midfielder to the existing squad, send Evans out on loan and move on the hangers on that are Elokobi and Foley. Sako must now be cashed in on, as should Hennessey.
Paddy Madden and Leigh Griffiths combination upfront with Henry and Jacobs down flanks, McDonald with a busy midfielder, Frimpong type and then the back line of Doherty, Bathh, Ricketts, Golbourne with either/or option in goal. With this and the reinforcements from the bench Championship football will be ours come the summer.

Just watched that. Looks like RJ was panicking as he realises he's tracked Toure almost back to the penalty spot, twitches a little when he thinks Toure is about to strike, then is easily beaten when the striker really is square on goal.
I suppose it's been a long time since RJ has been up against the league's best.

Siggy is better than Cassidy and Griffiths but he's not played because he's foreign. Look at the team it's only usually sako that's foreign

It was only usually Stale that bought foreign players. We had a very small number under both Mick and Jones but they didn't tend to be around for long. I've often wondered why we haven't scouted for more players from overseas. I only assume our managers don't work that way - they sign people they see play week in week out.
Jacketts best ever signing was Nadjim Abdou. a foreigner.
