Kevin Phillips has been released by Palace. I would take him in a heart beat. He would score for fun in that league, make a great substitute and really help bring our young strikers along like Griffiths, Maclinden and Siggy. Would also stop him scoring against us once and for all! {Ed003's Note - He's been released by B'pool.}

Can someone please explain why his name is even bieng thought of for Wolves
He left Peterbourough after he took them from L2 upto the championship but was then sacked as they sat at the bottom of the league, he then went to Preston where he did not last a season due to such poor results and was again sacked
This is his second spell at the Posh and he has just got them relegated, the only thing he did better than Solbakken and Saunders this season was he took 6 points off us, which considering how cr*p we were that was not difficult.
I am fickle but also a supporter of Wolves, but to even consider him for anything other than a tea boy is beyond me.

We need someone better than a reliable failure that Ferguson is.
I think its all paper talk, god help us if we are really looking at the likes of Darren Ferguson.
I don't think Morgan is really that stupid but he as proves me wrong a few times now so who knows
True words warwick wolf - I hope Morgans previous bad decisions will result in an excellent one this time. We need a manager who can coach good passing football and let our young players earn their right to pull on a wolves shirt - feeling really posiitve now dean saunders has gone was dreading the thought of watching us next season

I too really can't see the merits of Ferguson. He fits in with the current theme of 'managers who've got clubs relegated' well though.

Sako is rubbish. He was absolutely dire in the championship. I doubt he could cut it in the premier league. Villa, Fulham and Norwich should steer well clear of him.

I posted last week stating about Warnock becoming our manager regardless of whether we stayed up or went down.
This will be happening, I am not a Warnock fan but at least he is a strong manager and will sort the men from the boys
Rubbish. Kevin Thelwell is in charge of recruitment and the 2 main things he wants in the new manager is for him to be young and play football
Why don't you like warnock, we said this about bruce, beggers can't be choosers we are not in the prem any more and its doubtful if warnock wants the job anyway, he his an experienced manager who gets the job done. wolfy

I really can not believe karl Henry being in the paper again and making excuses again.
This guy should be booted out the club and quickly.
DS was turning the corner when he dropped him but he had to put him back in because of injuries and then we started losing again.
Really had enough of him, johnson, o'hara and ward.
But this lot will Bulls**t the next manager and I hope he see though them before he gets the sack as well.

Yes if we're to have a clean start then KH has to go. Hopefully the new manager will have a decent captain in mind to bring in, as there aren't any clear candidates at the Mol just now.
He was talking in the press about Saunders' dismissal being a complete surprise as if he had had no hand in it at all. Trot on Henry!
What do people want from him. If he says it wasn't good enough and they are embarrassed you slate him and if he says nothing he is slated. At least he is a local lad who probably understands our hurt more than RJ & JoH. At least he isn't in hiding in Dubai or Maldives and his wife isn't slagging us off.
Personally I would rather he did his talking on the pitch and this season he was speechless as were the rest of the team.
The guy grew up in Wednesfield, lives in the Wolverhampton area and is a Wolves supporter. He is entitled to his opinion just like us.
He supported Blackburn when he was at school, that's how much you all know about Henry, did anyone see henry on the terraces in 80's and 90's

Why all yeh talk about Ferguson and Jackett. neither of them are what this club needs, downo just hot sacked because he is tactically inept and you lot want a manager who only just managed to avoid relegation. come on lads think bigger than that.
Ferguson achieved a lot considering Posh have a fraction of the money to spend that Wolves have. Jackett had a bad year after a few good ones. A bit of the McCarthys there - too long at one club. I think he will do well at a new club just as Mick managed to raise Ipswich's game.

I'd fancy ferguson done well with no money at Peterborough but we need stability {Ed011's Note - Don't see why not Ferguson. Knows the lower leagues, yeh he got relegated too but he put up far more of a fight with a lot less to use. I'd like Owen Coyle too, strong character the whole club would galvanise behind.

thats what I like about the rumours page so many people seem to know morgan very well with so and so will be manager next week and so on the kenny jackett thing is just coincedence the wolves statement said they were going to take time in appointing a new manager, but not to long the dross needs to be moved. these players are the reason we are in div1 not saunders and not solbacken, although both out of there depth. all the names that have been banded about morgan will go for experence this time so phil neville, steve davis, steve bull, mike mellon, karl robinson, terry butcher ect have no chance. the ones that he will concider is in no partiular order is owen coyle neil warnock gary megson kenny jackett. the up and coming managers that should be conciderd is eddie howe and uwe rosler, but the main thing is he gets a dof in and grahame taylor is that man
I still think Taylor as Dof and Jackett as head coach is the A team to restore our pride, with some financial backing and the removal of Moxey from any boardroom decisions.
