I am formally going to hand in a pay
rise request to my boss first thing

say foxtrot oscar and get back to
work.

Fletch is taking the piss out of us on twiter now saying his heads back and he hopes he dont lose it again cause that would be a nightmare he don't give a s*** about wolves he dumped his own country

The club needed Kightly, but you cannot please a player, if he wants out. He is the main person who helped us to promotion from the Championship, to the Premier League. I suggest Stale Solbakken thinks about what he is going to do to the club. He needs a replacement for Kightly. If Fletcher leaves too, he needs to use that money to invest in a young, top quality player.

Random question but can anyone tell me if the bhatti brothers were in charge when John Ireland built and if not who was and was it coz of that stand we were left in the shi*

They were not here then beleve it was marshall chairman

I thought it was Doog who named the John Ireland stand. Not sure if it was his regime that started building it, though.

As I remember, Harry Marshall was Chairman when the John Ireland Stand (Now the Steve Bull Stand) was built.

It was built prior to the Bhattis they never invested anything significant into the club as I recall and it was the cost of the stand which broke the previous regime and opened the door to them

I think Wolves fans need to get behind players like RJ and JOH. Yes they we're in a team that didn't perform and with Roger it was partly self inflicted but if stay to fight with us in the championship that deserves respect. It would have been much easier for Johnson to walk away but it seems he wants to prove something. Players like Doyle aswell who didn't do very well but have accepted relegation. Even if we dont come straight back up I would rather have hunger and desire in the team than people who just want the money. Hopefully our squad should be strong enough to bring us back up anyway as I have got some faith in Solbakken. U.T.W
Big John.

Got to agree. You big John, are a great guy.

Great post and I fully agree with your comments Big Man.

Who gives a monkeys about Fletcher and Kightly. Fletcher didnt score enough to keep us up and Kightly didnt play.
Get rid and move on, we can give them s..t when their back at the MOLINEUX.

In SS we trust.

UP THE WOLVES

The Doog

Gotta realise that a player worth £12m+ isn't going to play in the Championship. Sell him and buy three players who will still be quality at that level. (Then reverse the transaction next year, haha).

Let fletch go and start bringing in new players.cant believe we have left it so late.we should have new players in by now and should be playing them saturday.how long have we been moaning over our useless defence yet not 1 new defender yet.i will be so disapointed if this situation is not put right imediatley.

With morgan always be like this in prem he did this got no love for the club and it shows

As I recall last season Fletch wasn't always first choice, we should cash in, Wish him luck as we wave him goodbye Relegation with Burnley and Wolves doesn't exactly show him to be a good talisman does it. may make it a hat trick at Villa or Sunderland

Reckon Peszko should wear the number 4 shirt and have KIDNEYS on top of the shirt instead of his surname

08 Aug 2012 17:38:38
surly now we got get a good replacement now to replace fletch nouble jus aint gona do it, go spend a good bit on new striker, and offer jarvis decent wages to keep him now you hot kight and fletch off books wich he is gona leave,

08 Aug 2012 17:29:20
If fletcher was always going to hand in a transfer request then he could of done us a favour and did it earlier in the window giving us more time to recruit. Now we only got less than 2 weeks to use his transfer money

{Ed011's Note - In the wake of Fletcher's transfer request I've been thinking of some players who I'd like to see us move for as a replacement:

Gary Hooper
Wilfried Zaha
Jordan Rhodes
Some incredible Scandinavian player who no one out of Scandinavia has ever heard of but in Scandinavia they only whisper his name because of the sheer power that it holds.

... that's all I can think of to be honest.

Love to see Rhodes at Wolves

Maybe Elyounoussi is that Scandinavian guy Ed, granted his name is spoken slightly louder than a whisper {Ed011's Note - Actually people would whisper it because they'd be embarrassed when they said it out loud and got it wrong.

Zaha would be a good signing

Fletcher handed in transfer request, what's my heads gone go to do with it, *^#%

08 Aug 2012 16:06:11
SteveBullStand- Kightly is in my eyes the new Kevin Phillps. He's a traitor and he should of gave us one more year . Plus is this Peszeko going to sign on a permanent basis if he impresses on loan this season.

E&S reporting Michael Kightly wanted to stay in the Premier League. Well....NEWSFLASH MATE.....we all did!! But as fans we can't all just bail at the first opportunity. As players you let the club and the fans down BIG time, and when you were injured everyione stood by you. Just goes to show all those words of thanks from you last season meant bugger all. Extremely disappointed in you Mr Kightly, thought you were better than that. On the plus side tho, we've got an injury prone winger off our pay roll!

ANOTHER SICKNOTE ON THE WAY OUT

Did I miss the ground that Wolvesvicar predicted three weeks ago? Can anyone tell me what it was please?

08 Aug 2012 13:53:34
Moan if you want, but kightly did well getting us up, then got injured and played well towards the end of the season last year! He offered nowt to our 3 years in the prem! Why's everyone hating on him, let him go, you can't blame someone for wanting premier league football! Good luck to him and next time we play stoke we'll play em off the field and he'll look like a complete tool!

08 Aug 2012 13:39:57
Unsure of the need for Peszko, stale likes a narrow midfield so is buying an out and out winger. Read up about him and he seems average, scored a few in Poland but frankowski scored a lot in Poland so that means nothing. Woul rather see forde/Davis get a game!

Does anyone know what the dress code is for the directors box? Ive been chosen to go in it against Aldershot.

Thanks in advance! {Ed011's Note - No football shirts, it's usually smart, don't know what the jeans situation is for the directors box because for other areas it's ok but no faded or ripped but I'd expect it to be trousers.

It's collar and tie.

Enjoy!

Thanks a lot ED! {Ed001's Note - standard is usually no jeans or trainers. Smart, rather than smart casual, I think is how it is described, though it does vary from club to club.}

And for god sake dont cheer the team on they may ask you if wolves are in black and gold understand they not football fans well not fans of wolves

Id rather be sat in the southbank with the naughty boys. But enjoy all the same.

Mills wolf

Ive got my season ticket in the south bank, this is a one off. The south bank is clised anyway

Ok then so we sell fletch Jarvis kites raise a potential of 25m how much we spending on the squad I reckon 5 mil max let's hope for stales sake were in the top 6 after 15 games or it's we want stale Morgan moxey out moxey has to make sure we make a profit for his 500k bonus a few steps backwards I'm feeling let's hope I'm wrong

Is it only me that does not trust morgan the mess of last year money comeing in sod all going out no defenders all players from overseas loans i think we are being rip off here some one tell me i am wrong about morgan

Message to wolves any defenders on the way

08 Aug 2012 00:24:35
Steven fletcher is looking to leave wolves as soon as possible

If you felt the club were just seeing you as if you were a piece of meat to be sold to the highest bidder you would probably want to get out of there as quick as possible.
I am not saying that Wolves are treating him like this but if they are........

Don't think they are, we genuinely want to keep him but everyone has a price

That's rather unfair. After all, as a WW fan, you want us to get as much money for Fletcher as possible. Moreover, players in transfer negotiations are doing the same, often choosing the team solely on the size of the wage packet (Scott Dann springs to mind). Even worse, players under contract can provoke a move merely by sulking.

How about getting wickham on a season long loan with a view to permanate deal as part of the fletch deal 12 mil and this I'd be happy
