How can both mk dons fc and Antony Kay both not apologize for takle on Zyro also the ref should be embarrassed he got decision so wrong it was red all the way shocking all round hope he comes back as good no Zyro no party 😢.

Absolutely agree yamyamrob, in my honest opinion, Kay and his manager should apologise without question for that shocking incident!

This may sound punitive but, Kay should be made to pay compensation and banned from playing until Zyro recovers completely.

This type of cynical challenge needs to be stamped out; best wishes to Michal and all our injured players, roll on next season.

I think it's very clear that Anthony Kay did not intend to put Zyro on the sidelines as he has done; it was a reckless but not malicious tackle. However, it does reflect extremely poorly on MK Dons as a club. The time when Karl Henry broke Bobby Zamora's leg, which is included in an excellent page on the Express and Star website, shows the difference in approach; one remorseful and the other disinterested. A simple heartfelt apology won't change anything, but it's a simple matter of respect. We categorically would've done so were we responsible.

Must say, and I pray to God I'm wrong, but Zyro looks to be a figure of frustration. Already in his brief period here, he's picked up a 3 month injury and now this. Hope he's not another Razak Boukari, for our sake and more importantly his.

Reckless but not malicious tackle, oh please, behave! And how do you believe Zyro has picked up these injuries, (in his brief period here) , pray do tell?

Dicko Graham and Zyro, three players that could give the opposition real damage out for a year and no one sent off. Would any of these tackles have received a sending off in a premier league game? With the money flowing down from the prem there's now a lot to play for in the championship. Maybe some of these tackles were just bad luck like the incidents with Jed and EEL, but I hope it's not a sign of big money at stake and referees that can't cope.

Good points made above. I guess Zyro is probably not used to the physicality of the Championship; the Polish league wouldn't really be considered a great league. In fact bar Legia Warsaw, there's very little quality in it. As for the malicious point, I genuinely don't believe, in this day and age, that there are players who intend to injure others. Perhaps in the heat of the moment, the odd occasion. But there was no REASON for Kay to hack Zyro down; equally with Dicko and Graham's injuries. Call me gullible but I'd chalk that off to typical misfortune.

In reply to Victory V, it is concerning how none of the tackles merited a red card. As you rightfully say, between the high money stakes and also the much-maligned play-acting, it's easy for an innocent elbow when heading a ball to receive a red card. Yet sinking your teeth into a man's shoulder doesn't?! When it comes to refereeing, despite what Van Gaal or others may think, the intention is not what's most important; a broken leg = a red card. Common sense really!
