What's folks views on joe Cole his loan at cov up soon would it be worth take punt on him he got experiance and anytime seen him play at villa (step daughter villa fan -will she ever learn ) he looked good or do we have his position sorted?

his legs were gone long before he signed for Liverpool, let alone Villa. Past it, avoid at all costs.

Hopes were that a way could be found of playing that made up for missing Sako and that the trio became a duo. Expectations were that we could struggle to make play offs as so much had come through Sako. By the time we kicked off it was already clear that SM didn't want to spend like Derby or Boro so it was going to take a big team effort and I guess we are likely to be work in progress until something clicks on the pitch or changes occur of the pitch. A goal run from Afobe could change everything but he seems to have gone off the boil.
