I don't know how any other Wolves fans are feeling but I'm a bit 50/ 50 on the Mills transfer saga. In a way I'm glad we missed out on him in my opinion we should be signing proven premiership quality. However he is young and fits into the Wolves ethos and its embarrassing that we lost out to Leicester an not another Premier League Team.

Regarding players who we have been linked to I would like to see us step up the chase on Johnny Evans I think he is what Stearman could have been or become without the wait. I think him linking with Johnson would be a good pairing. In regards to LB I'm also a little dubious about the Lee Wallace link, I understand that he is regarded as one of the best in the SPL but would eh cut it in the prem, would this be another LB gone wrong? Someone mentioned previosly taht they would have liked us to try and sign Ryan Bertrand rather than loan which would have been good in my opinion. He has been disciplined by Chelsea and could have had made that spot his own provided Super Mick gave him along enough run in the team.

I would steer away from Ridgewell do not rate him, and though I think Robbie Keane is good I would rather him be a happy memory than back at the mol.

I do not want Ridgewell , he was not good enough as a CB and was put into LB.Regarding Keane we do not need him any more we have younger hungrier players , Robbie done nothing with WHFC.I say give Wallace a shout at LB I reckon he is worth a punt he cut his teeth in the SPL with is as good as the championship where the guts of our squad have played in.Bertrand would cost 500,000 pounds for a season long loan that's why Wolves did not want him.Evans was shocking against us at home .

Blues sign Caldwell does that make way for us to sign Johnson

No, for stoke to sign Dann mate, that the side he plays in deffence

Both Dann and Johnson will not be at blues come start of the season 100% on that, just a matter of time till we get our man, when blues realise they need to get rid and lower there price, just a waiting game.... mills wolf :)

Well said i feel we will sign someone by 55 days that are left of this window but feel we will go for quantity over quality, what do u think?

Personally, i think the sooner we throw some real money at the deffence asap the better cos it takes time for players to gel together especially the deffence, last thing we need is a week before start of season just bringing in players then, too much pressure on them to come good right away, but what do i know, Moxey would rather save a quid and have us with no nails again come end of the season....

there's a new section for us wolves fans along with wolves rumours and wolves banter it's called joke of the day....how could lcfc out bid us for mills... disgraceful....we don't want to pay the asking price we don't want to pay higher wages mm's reputation can't influence anyone to cum so how do we compete?

Wolves really dropped a clanger with mills, if we had given them their 4m two weeks ago he would be in ireland now, if we now do not get johnson and or bassong, and a proper left back its absolutley shocking and we wil be set for another relegation last knockings battle, leicester out bidding us is abismal fairplay to them

Personally I'm sick of hearing about Matt Mills. Sign him or don't sign him and lets have done with it.
If he goes to Leicester then hopefully we'll follow up the Bassong inquiry.

They should also make another johnson bid or now they failed on mills start focussing on upson or woodgate ?

Woodgate is a joke, past 3 clubs he's been at he's hardly played, same as hargreaves, how can you build a settled side with players who never play ? KEEP AWAY unless its pay as you play, but we all know there greedy journey man won't settle for that mills wolf :)

Would rather have bassong more experience and better quality but can't c why mills would want to leave a championship club for another

I imagine its got something to do with his monthly pay packet

The guy harped on about wanting to test himself in the premiership then settles for the foxes..... lucky escape i think Mills wolf :)

that new stand is going to look lovely and empty in the championship next year...come on moxley, get buying some players, us fans can't go through another survival sunday again, and with our activities in the trans window i think we will be doomed way before the last game

Shows how much you know..... It's Moxey not Moxley. Stop moaning about how we havent signed many players. It takes time to get the right deal and lets be honest id rather wait and sign a player for the right deal instead of ending up in debt

5 mil for mills is 2 much..hes totally unproven...there r loads of defenders with experience around for around the same amount of money

every club who signs a player usually sends another on his way...man city just signed another defender so maybe lescott or onouha become available....sunderland might get brown or evans so maybe turner becomes available....if dann and johnson go somewhere else the same will happen at those clubs

Its true what you say, it is a merry go round but why settle for players other teams don't want?...cant see lescott coming back if bigger clubs are needing defenders

It all depends on timing as well not just if teams don't want them, clubs like sunderland av already signed a load of players so might not be in a position to sign anymore even if they really wanted to....they might be 1st in the q to try and sign lescott but if they already signed brown o shea etc it might be that they arent in a position to go for him

I agree scott malone is a very talented lb i live in same street and he was in year below me at same school and has done well on loan wherever he's been, also he has been linked with a move away this year to reading or if he stays he will more than likely be loaned out to bournemouth. We really need to sort some players out tho becuz the way its going sunderland and norwich will be signing everyone just as they are now. Rowley dan
