Let's have a bit of fun and do a survey...

If you are a wolves fan and a glass half full person click agree..
if you are glass half empty person click disagree......... Be as honest as you can

What if the glass is a quarter full?

Wolfies left foot

My glass is a little smaller than normal it's full to the brim.

Glass half empty!? Another pint of Banks's please. {Ed011's Note - What is everyone's drink of choice out of curiosity?

Living in the South-East, I love a pint of Banks's Best Bitter when coming to Molineux. However, The Varsity, my favourite watering hole on match-days, no longer sells it so I'll have to look elsewhere.

It was carling in the lady wulfrun but it gone up 46p the robbing gets. Sure moxey is running that place. Any lager really ed.

Hasn't the varsity changed now it's not even a boozer is it I noticed it was open today but didn't know what it was now. I know the litten tree is now the George willis. Anyone know what the varsity has changed to.

Poster above, try the wheatsheaf, best banks's in the centre.

Well my glass has feel like it's fallen on the floor smashed into a thousand pieces, then ive slipped on it and got a piece of it stuck in my forehead.

Living in Scotland nobody has heard of Banks's. And I have to explain what Mild is and how it's not Bitter. But my friends do know about Wolves, about the local rivalries (nothing compared to Celtic/Rangers which is more of a way of life in some areas) and about some players, typically the Scots ones.

McWulf {Ed007's Note - You guys ever heard of Buckfast?}

What do you think about trying to get kevin phillips on loan?

Hes too old

Short term kevin phillips why not everywhere he goes he scores

Why not,he always scores at the mol so let him do it in an old gold shirt and just use him for home games lol

Yes. Last 10 min player that can score goals. {Ed003's Note - Is he available ? }

We should have gone for Phillips at the start of last season.

I'd bring him on loan just to stop us having to play against him, would love to know how many goals he's put past us over the years.... even at 83 he'd manage to find the back of the net against us i bet haha

My first post of the season here i come,
With the international break we need some fun.

Its not changed a bit we're all still whingers,
With our constant blame and pointing fingers.

But whilst our boys are not yet shining, Every cloud has a silver lining......

It may become a drawn out process,
We all knew this is a work in progress.
This team will give sweat, tears and blood,
The new signings are looking very good.

Its a sign of the great things coming our way,
But promotion is a word I dare not say.

But shut up moaning and support our team,
Its not as bad as it may seem.

So being united is an absolute must,
Have faith in the team......in Stale we must trust.

The Poet

Very good, not do a funny one about moxey just to put a smile on our faces ;)

I started using this site looking for Wolves rumours but it seems to have turned into a WOLVES MOANERS site! I used to use another site for the same reason but I gave it up because of the same thing. My plan now is to leave this site alone, remain positive about everything and come back on here in january hoping its become a rumours site once again.

EBW Halesowen

Hales, do you know any rumours ??

Nope thought ya didnt....

Define a Wolves Moaner.......

...and dont forget to start with yourself.

I see Jez has put his calculator down and is all over the website and sky talking football. Oh to have such knowledge of the game Jez, your vast experience at the very top level, we are so lucky to have you. Maybe if things don't pick up you could lend a hand on the training ground or take a team talk, tell the back 4 how to defend. I need to be calm down, as Roy Hodgson said " be careful what you wish for".

Overall Wolves fans arent fickle. Its expensive to go watch football, and when you watch these overpaid egotistic players you have a right to air your concerns. The likes of Kightly really highlight whats wrong with these so called stars. We havent got any stars. It all just grinds on your patience when you see Tescos and Stoke playing good football. See you Saturday then lads !!

Players come and go, get over it. Grays Athletic probably said the same about Kites when he moved to Wolves. Transfers are a fact of the game.

Wot happening with stadium 're development is gunna carry on now we in championship?

Of course it is !

Morgan's main aim is to put value on his cheaply bought asset while putting in his 30 million as promised, that 30 million is going for ground development thus keeping his money in his pocket so to speak.

The cost, 30 million ? nope, our prem status and maybe for years to come too.

One of my more optimistic fellow Wolves mate, said to me...

"If Derby hadn't have scored in the 94th minute...none of these posts would be tarnishing our board. Amazing how fickle fans can be."......

Yes i said, but they did didnt they ?

We were on the back foot most of the match and when was looking like we were going to "win ugly" for the first time in ages, the same old problems were/are still there for all to see. If it was a moment of magic from Derby like a thunderbolt on the eadge of the area then thats acceptable, but it war a poorly defended corner in 94th minuite.

I think its abit harsh to tarnish some supporters with the "fickle" tag. Yes there are finkle fans out there, but i think one of the main reasons we as Wolves fans struggle to be patient is the success of similar stature local clubs such as Stoke & Tesco's. It was long ago we were all established championship sides all together, since then we have all been promoted at some point to the prem, thats where the story differs though, as where they have built on that, we are now back where we started with arguably a weaker side with some of the same players we had 4 years ago...

My biggest gripe isnt with Stale, how could it be ?, he's only been there a short time and the players he's bought in look good, it more with the board, Morgans insistance of putting ground developments before football & Moxeys insistance of keep such a tight ship, overly tight imo.

By the time our "longterm" plan comes into fruition, the gap of the prem will have got bigger and bigger, even next year the sky money jumps up to 70 million.

None of this affects how i much i love the club, nor will it stop me supporting them or going to watch them, but its doesnt fill me with much hope neither, and as we linger in this mid table championship stability we miss out on that younger generation geting to feel the same pride to be a wolves fan as stoke and west brom youngs uns have now !

So where do you think the 49 mill come from for mick thin air n the 7 mill for SS this year behave could be worse we could have venkeys as owners I'd suggest you stop moaning

Venkeys have just forked out 8 million for one player, more than we've spent in total in the summer !

Yeah n he's unproven what happens if he misfires waste of 8 million n we brought in 7 players for the exact same price who's dove the better deal hmm

4.5 million. If it misfires the add ons wont come. Its only 8 if he proves he is worth than. Pretty good gamble for Blackburn.

Did you actually see the Derby match? Accepted it was a late goal but Wolves didn't drop 2 points, Derby did. They were the better team throughout the match and should have beaten us not drawn.

That said, it's 'Work In Progress' at Molineux at the moment. We've got a long way to go before the team gels and we look like a team that can win back to back matches.

I agree with some earlier posters on here that the financial stability of the club is paramount if you want long term success but i think we need to start getting the balance right. Having to work with Stoke and Albion fans everyday the fact Wolves are in good shape financially isn't helping at the moment, last season and the start of this one is bloody embarassing. I just hope the manager can sort it out and we can have a good season, parting company with TC is a good start in my opinion now we need defenders in who can play, either the young guns or loans. Come on the Wolves!!

I honestly think the success of other similar stature rival teams is one of the main reasons Wolves fans are fiding it hard to be patient right now.

It wasnt long ago, Wolves, Stoke, Tesco's & Brum were all in the same division with the same sort of status. We've all been promoted since then and spent time in the prem, now were back where we started while Stoke & Albion look to establish themselves for the long run.

Wolves and Brum are back where we started with the only saving grace that was are financialy stable where brum's owner is a crook and left them with no money after spending spree's

We all agree, where we are right now is transition but patience is a virture that hard to stomarch when we see rivals doing it the right way are getting moderate success through it.

Millw Wolf

The reason we've fallen behind the likes of Stoke is that they recognised and rectified problems that were on the pitch. At Wolves the fans screamed their concerns at the wrongs that they were seeing but were ignored by the people who had the power to do something about it. Now we're paying for it.

It is a total and utter disgrace that we are
playing second fiddle to Stoke
