Bloody hell the albion are upto 5th if it stays 2-0 against Southampton. Upcoming fixtures Wigan, Chelsea, Sunderland and Swansea could see them bag 7 points? I know it's early days (ish) but anybody think they could qualify for next years Champions league? Nightmare scenario...

I'm wolves through and through,43yrs of good and mostly indifferent,I hate the albion as much as the next man, even though our traditional rivals are stoke in truth...but anyway' let's get things in perspective...they have been run properly, good chairman, decent board, steady behind the scenes...good bloody managers and Dan ashworth in recent yrs keeping the football side of things nice and even...
Now what about us....fill the rest in yourselves...it ain't been pretty has it...you reap what you sow wolves fans, stop bitching and back the team on the pitch if nothing else' otherwise it's gonna end up a lot worse than it is now'give Solbakken a chance to get "his" own squad together, damn'we suffered the sh?*e mccarthy and co churned out

100% WOLVES FAN

GOOD LUCK TO THEM, RATHER THEM IN EUROPE THAN A LONDON SIDE ANYWAY.

Just wish our club was run as well and showed the same ambitions, funny that not long ago Stoke and Albion were considered in the shadow of Wolves.... saying that Villa were pushing for europe not long ago.... every dog has its day !

Mills wolf

Totally disagree with this 'good for the area' crap. Anything Albion, Villa do that is better than what Wolves do is totally detrimental to Wolves.
Ask Man City fans who had to live for years watching Man Utd winning trophy after trophy.
So what did they do about it? Yes that's right they got in a foreign power with ambition and wealth!
Simple. Morgan, Moxey OUT!

Just watched 45 mins of wolves reserves and wondering why isnt that ismail in the 1st team or at least on the bench.
1st time i have seen him play and was impressed and his far better than forde, whats up with these so called football experts that they cant see it

Not very impressed with hennessy in that match ,,same old mistakes and still doesnt move from the goal...ikeme is way ahead of him,
his let 5 goals in already

Any other notable performances?

Not really

Totally agree: Hennessy is finished

Cant believe that a guy so tall cant command his area ??

he's had one of the best gk coaches in the world Bobby Mimms and others like Matt Murray round him.

He'll never be a class keeper untill he learns that his weakest part of his game should be his strongest part.

GET MURRAY IN TO COACH HIM !

Personally i'd sell him if anything over 3 million came in

Mills wolf

Hennessy was woeful last night bet the reserves were peed off with him after doing so well without him, he didnt command or shout out any instructions to his defence.
He made some great saves last season but i think was too blame for quite a few goals as well.
really dont care if he goes tbh

Robbie brady has agreed to join hull on loan. Another goid deal wolves have missed
out on.

05 Nov 2012 18:32:15
just seen the goals why cant we mark and do the defensive basics ?

05 Nov 2012 18:01:29

For me personally think if we are in the top 6 by January i see wolves with a chance in promotion and i hope he gets the funds to spend on players i see him getting 5-10million maybe more but probably not.

i think SS will buy 2-3 more players
sako / doumbia / peszko / all great players

January will decide if we go up or down , if he has the funds we will go up or Qualify for the playoffs.

JANUARY will decide our FATE!

05 Nov 2012 16:37:01
Is Nouble injured? If not wouldn't mind him having a go up front.

Craig De Wolf

Not very impressive for reserves last week!

Its the reserves though. The guy has came to our club scored in almost every game for us and he still dont get a chance. no i dont think my moral would be very good either!

05 Nov 2012 16:28:09
I agree with most of what is posted on here, I think stale is an excellent manager and by january should have everything sorted staff and player wise provided he is backed by the board sufficiently when it comes to buying new players. I reckon Charlie Austin is a good option for a striker: pretty young, excellent goal scorer, different to our other strikers, would still be good in prem if we get promoted. Frimpong is looking likely and will be a good replacement for henry when he gets suspended, and when tongo's in Africa in January. And, I also thing we are still in need of a good right back as foley and zubar have not really been up to standard, but if I'm honest, I don't have a clue who could replace them. Finally, Cassidy coming back could give the fans and the team a bit of hope, more goals maybe, plus a bit of pride in the team knowing that we are creating quality, talented footballers.

05 Nov 2012 15:25:21
Wow all this negativity I thought were fighting relegation but were 8th in the league n a win Tuesday against hull will see us back in the playoffs n then everyone will be happy again BUT I do agree with that we need a new forward or we could just recall Cassidy n let him loose

05 nov 2012 13:24:14
i appreciate everyone wants to watch great, winning football week in/week out but asking for the board/owners/manager to go is not the answer to solve the situation we are in!
i say just sit tight and wait to see what happens in the transfer window, then we'll really know how serious the board is about getting us back to the holy land..

dan wolves

Completely agree. If only all could talk that much sense.

Craig de Wolf

We are a passionate bunch and have had to watch our team loose for the past 3 seasons. After a baron run without a win you have to expect us fans to be voicing our despair. Especially in the heat of a game like we saw on Saturday!

I know that allot of fans over reacted and said things which were silly but some of us were right. in all the games we have played so far we have not truly dominated the opposition and with the set of players we have i doubt we will this season unless we can bring in some talented players. I mean Doyle is not the most prolific striker you will ever see, SEB seems to have lost his touch. I don't blame it all on the strikers though, If you think about it we are playing with two center defensive midfielders and there isn't many of those out there who can play that role whilst creating loads of chances for the strikers or wingers. Then you have to look at the LB position and say Ward is not a proper LB and he doesn't get much help from Sako as he is so attacking minded. There are more faults i could point out but I'm sure you already know them.

Realistically we need to flash the cash in January and buy atleast a creative midfielder, a LB and a prolific striker.

This is not being negative, I'm not a negative supporter. Its the truth

TDW

I'll tell you what we will spend in jan, a fraction of what we get for de Vries hennesey and Doyle.smell the coffee we are a cash cow for mr Morgan and his netball loving glove puppet.

Totally agree TDW,

Trouble is you voice is your called negative and told you should go down the road to watch your footie.

Okay, okay how about this then....

I HAVE BIG RESERVATIONS LIKE OTHERS I SPEAK TOO ABOUT HOW THIS CLUB IS BEING RUN UNDER MORGAN AND MOXEY.

AT BEST I THINK THER LOOKING TO PLOD ON SENSIBLY IN THERE EYES, HOPING WE KEEP GOING UP, COMING BACK DOWN BUY PLAYERS LOW, SELLING THEM HIGH AND POCKETING THE PARACHUTE PAYMENT FOR A "RAINY DAY"

AT WORST, MAYBE MORGAN HAS NO INTEREST IN WOLVES, WANTS TO BUY REDROW BACK SOON AT THE RIGHT PRICE AND WILL USE THIS CLUB IN ANYWAY HE CAN TO GENERATE THE MONEY TO PUT UP FOR IT.

I know im not the only one who doesnt trust Morgan & Moxey at our club.... BUT, others are very right at what they say when they argue Wolves are going through a TRANSITION period with every one from MANAGER TO SCOUTS changing, total OVERHAUL at the club apart from Moxey and Morgan unfortunatly in my eyes...

SOOOO, i put it to you, maybe its not time to let the panic set in just yet, maybe its not time to pick apart the clubs problems and maybe we should all let Stale get on with it , FORGET THIS SEASON and see what happens ??

Well.... i think a season is too long to wait personally, other new managment teams dont take that long to bed in so NO THANKS....

.... For me they have untill January to over see this change, and i think my worst fears will be proven when we spend very little on new player, with stale used as the scape goat once again to hide the failing of the real culprit Steve "Liverpool" Morgan !

WE SHALL SEE......

Briliant post.i totally agree morgan should go.

Sounds reasonable but maybe a slightly more realistic ambition would be top six at the end of the season with some decent money signings along the way would not be happy to see any less than 8-10 spent in Jan?

Dan Wolves

He has already bought back Redrow, just been on their new site in Telford not saying where the money came from but the top of the range houses on fletcher close are luxurious whilst Jarvis court are very picturesque whilst the starter homes kightly crescent are ideal for the first time buyer, and don't want to be alarmist but phase two has Doyle avenue hennesey grove Sako street and Ohara mews.gotta laugh aye ya.

They all run off the main road - Ivebeen Avenue!

Tee hee

Lmao !!!

Hey ,that new Ipswich manager looks like he's made a difference.

Lets stop mentioning HIM now yes. move on the rest of us have.

Anybody else notice tcs new blue clipboard

05 Nov 2012 11:51:03
Looks like rope is in big demand...... Stop the bloody moaning. Its best to have a bad run now. Wolves will be in the running come end of season, give the Manager a fair go. ffs

I see the sale of rose tinted specs are halp price this week too.

Manager will get a fair go mate, but i bet it doesnt take Mick at ipswich soo long to settle in, and i bet he isnt backed in January when its time, Morgan has no ambition and wont put up the money to match what Stale needs to turn it into his squad, he will do it on the cheap and will and up mid table mark my words....

I like Stalle and think he will be great for us but he needs money in jan but i dont see him getting it of morgan.the sooner morgan goes the better.

Rose tinted specs and rope all cost money - going to start handing patience out for free at every home game I believe

05 Nov 2012 06:42:00
I cant believe what a mess this clubs in. Why aren't the board doing anything about it? They need to sack the manager and coaches. And Moxey and force Morgan out as well as selling all the players.

Is that what you whingers want?

FFS people SS has only been here 5 minutes, had our 3 best players sold but brought in some decent players. He has organized a once shambolic defence and got rid of poor back room staff. He is up to the job.

And as to this back him or sack him, please enlighten me as to how they can do that with the transfer window closed? They certainly gave him money in the summer and sure they will in January.

I for one am staying onboard the SS wolverhampton, but please feel free to abondonship, wouldn't want moaning persons hanging around moaning.

In Stale we trust.

Craig de Wolf

Fully agree, Sako must be one of the best buys for a long time. We have lots of players out at the moment - when the likes of O'hara return + our wide players we will start to score more. Our defence is getting better - It'll come good, just wait.

SS Wolverhampton - aka the Mary Rose tinted specs

Destination - Happyclappersville

ALL ABOARD !

Or get real and realise were anchored to the bottom of the sea and going nowhere....

Mills wolf

Craig i admire you optimism, i really do, but after 14 games can you honestly say you've seen us play a good 90 minuites of football ?

Its not like Stale cant speak english and cant comunicate with his team, he should be able by now, to get them to produce at least one convincing performance in 14 mate, open your eyes, were a team that has come down form the prem after 3 years, yes we have sold our 3 best players, but the rest are the same bunch who were crowned champions, too many underperformers such as Doyle & SEB and only one player bought in that looks like a good solid addition to the first team in SAKO isnt good enough !!

2nd poster "it'll come good just you wait"
....are the same words Moxey and Morgan used last season before realising its too late and we got relagated, THIS is where we are right now, this is what were up against, this is the reality, what are we suppose to be waiting for exactly ? ? ? santa clause to come ? ? ? morgan to suddenly come out in public and say were going to back stale with the funds of player sales and parachute payments ?? cos if that what your waiting for then santa clause is more likley.....

Sorry to sound like a moaner, but all you you lots who call us moaners were moaning with us at the end of the season, it just took you lot alot loonger to see what was happening, once your roseys were off then you saw, trouble is you have them on again !!

Mills wolf

I totally agree mills wolf we havent played a good 90mins in 14 games, and can only speak as a home fan but weve never played in the seond half it just seems to me square pass square pass back pass this system were never going to score lots of goals its not entertaining football in fact its quite boring take off those tinted glasses and realise playing this type of football we will finish halfway at most and yes i am a moaner whose can see whats coming

Sorry, that one big one above, was from me.

Craig De Wolf

You happy clappers are the people that stop us moving forward.you pretend everythings ok when it clearly isnt.

Mills, I'm not wearing rose tinted glasses, but my glass is half full.

I am not saying for one moment we are perfect. But I do feel that we are in a massive transitional period. In situations like this sometimes you have to it rock bottom before things can get better.

More and more of the old management structure have gone, with Stale now able to put his own in place. We need to give them chance.

The players, some of them are simply not good enough, however changing a complete squad in pre-season just simply wouldn't happen. We have brought in a few, who look good, we have some youngsters who deserve a chance and we have a few injuries to come back and add competition to the squad. We do need a few good players, goal scorer please.

Stale needs time to look over his squad, which I am sure he has done by now. I'm sure he'll know who he wants out and will just need to find buyers for them. He also needs to bring in his own players. And I am sure he will be backed in January.

I'm sorry but I cannot see a quick fix to our situation, the club is undergoing an overhaul and unfortunately, needs something that is vary rare in football. Time.

I trust Morgan, I like how he's been as a chairman, a few mistakes but don™t we all? Just wish they would get a DOF or Sporting Director role to guide Stale and leave Moxey to the business, not the football.

I would like to know Mills what would you like to happen? M&M out? Stale out? Foreign owners? If you had the powers, what would you be doing?
