First penalty in English football awarded 125 years ago to Wolves and Scored by J B Heath against Accrington.

Nice history lesson Banbury wolf but what about now 2016? Wolves new owner/ owners? Who are the Indians with Laslett?

05 May 2016 19:17:29
I would have thought the two sources that said 'KJ' would only have one game left would know the answer to these questions?

Do they not?

How odd indeed ;)

05 May 2016 19:33:29
Doh? Told u Chasetown I only post what I believe to be true. JACKETT has one more game! As far as a takeover goes all I know is things r going on whether it's a takeover or investment I don't know for definite so won't speculate. U got anything to add to the discussion Chasetown or u going to bore off! U ought to try going and watchin Wolves now and again then u might have something to add.

05 May 2016 20:15:06
Paul, he ain't going nowhere, sorry pal.
He will have to answer some questions, but.
I can tell you no players out of contract will be re-signed unless they take a huge pay cut.
Ikeme, Iorfa, McDonald and Price will be sold. circa 10 million not much more leaving a little for re-investment.
This is Bhattiesque was told Morgan would sell at all costs by the end of the season.
It ain't going to happen.
He's lost interest he's recouped 7 million on Afobe,
Will re-coup 7 million in the summer.
He will take the season ticket money.
Then he will watch us squirm before selling us off on his terms to a financial lightweight.

05 May 2016 22:07:27
Paul, your comment to Chasetown implying that he does not go watch Wolves, is bang out of order. How do we know that you do.

I really thought that you were an adult, now I am not so sure.

Pompous ass!

05 May 2016 22:50:42
Pure gut feeling Realist but your perception of Morgan's intentions just don't feel right. I am aware that he has bought nearly all the private properties around the Mol so any future owner will have to pay top dollar to expand. But I believe he will keep the club financed as a going concern. To run it into the ground would incur unnecessary commercial damage to his reputation.

06 May 2016 07:33:48
Thanks the realist that's a lot more info your giving us than two sourses of Paul Tamworth's. We all know they won't sack jacket as they still want him around. Only way jacket will go is if he walks away. Wolves won't be sold just players will be as many are out of contract soon. Wolves won't make same mistake letting them avalible for free. Only thing that will happen on the last game is jacket thanking Paul Tamworth for buying 6 season tickets that will go towards jackets wages this month.

06 May 2016 09:19:59
Realist that is pure fiction on your part just trying to muddy the waters
Morgan cannot do what you are stating sums too large and that would raise red flags at Companies House and so on
He is not going to damage his business reputation in this manner he will just not do it
Paul T after due consideration I do not believe KJ will go as he is a yes man to Moxey and Moxey is staying.

06 May 2016 10:15:46
Jack Russell your barkin up the wrong tree! Down boy 🐩.

06 May 2016 10:18:12
Check the accounts guys. Morgan hasn't taken anything out of Wolves by way or salary or dividends. And he won't. Transfer receipts belong to the company, not to any individual. Ditto season ticket receipt.

06 May 2016 10:53:19
Paul - good response!

06 May 2016 11:38:37
It was a friendly banter one )

06 May 2016 12:15:30
It won't damage his business repute on as long as he keeps making money.
We can only replace quality with mediocrity so many times.
Transfer fees will balance the books ala Afobe, we ain't got to many Afobes.
When the money runs out we will be sold on the cheap.

06 May 2016 14:05:02
Realist, r u sure JACKETT isn't bein replaced? Morgan is going to move him on and replace him with a mate? Possibly Ince or Gary Neville? Just sayin what I've been told be grateful if u can ask your contact mate. Cheers.

06 May 2016 16:31:38
I don't think Jackett is going yet, I think he will get time with a new striker and playing Williamson Dicko and Graham. But if we are outside top 10 by February he will be gone. Moyes Lennon or Lambert to Celtic. Pearson Martinez or Moyes to Villa. Pearson or Martin to Derby. Anyone left for us, Neville would be worth a shout he always spoke up for us on Sky and he will have learned from Valencia.

06 May 2016 21:16:01
Why would you ask 'The Realist' a question regarding 'KJ' if you were so sure he was going to be replaced?

Sounds like your beginning to doubt your sources!

Why am I not surprised!

06 May 2016 21:25:26
I like the Realist and respect his info, but he hasn't heard anything about JACKETT going so simply askin him if he can push for anymore info. As many on here think JACKETT is safe or we will employ a new coach from within the club? But today I've heard Morgan will be movin JACKETT out and replacing him with possibly Ince or Gary Neville? U going tomorrow Chasetown? 😂.

06 May 2016 22:28:20
That's for me to know,

And for you to find out my dear friend!

Now, is there anything else you wish to know?

05 May 2016 17:16:01
I've been reading all the rumours on here and thought about the season as a whole (some would say a big, black hole! ) . As I see it, a couple of seasons ago Jackett was our saviour. He put some self-respect back into being a Wolves player/ Wolves fan again. He repaired the broken relationship between fans/ players (not management but then he wasn't God) . He got us promoted and the football we played in league one was free-flowing, entertaining football. We were within spitting distance of the play-offs and we all expected great things from this season. How wrong we were! So now for the negatives - he dropped Ikeme/ Afobe/ Price/ MacDonald/ Henry/ Byrne, bought Mason and didn't play him. Persevered with the non-scoring Sigudarson. Put Saville/ Coady into an alreadywould weakened team. Killed the entertainment with dull, boring football and worst of all sold Stearman only to belly-ache this week that we lack experience. Too right we do - managerially as well as on the pitch.

The man has his hands tied I'm sure and injuries played their part but can we go back to playing the free-flowing, attacking football we all love please.

If we're looking for music before the game on Saturday, maybe we should start with 'Don't Look back in anger! ' Followed by Things can only get better. Anymore suggestions? Rant over 😜.

The liquidater might get crowd going because atmosphere has been flatter than jacketts interviews for months.

06 May 2016 21:44:23
I totally agree with your comments on the liquidator pagewolf.

Trouble is, the hierarchy at Wolves will not allow it to be broadcast on match days.

Such a pity, I remember it well, happy days :)

05 May 2016 12:22:14
Why don't we wait and see what happens with MARTINEZ (Everton) He might bring a couple of out of favour premier players with him. Worth a punt.

05 May 2016 12:56:32
Think u find villa will go for him if becomes available as they wanted him long time ago when he was at Wigan heard name Paul Jewel a bit think he ok don't set world on fire but what u call " safe pair hands " but don't think kj going anywhere soon.

05 May 2016 14:14:42
Austrian Wolf. Martinez could work for us but I suspect that, once again, we'll be disappointed and underwhelmed by our next manager/ head coach. After Mick was sacked, look at who we got:
Clipboard. (bizarre)
Solbakken. (weird)
Saunders. (expletive deleted)
Jackett (hardly a top name)

06 May 2016 09:21:34
Forget all these high flyers they will NOT put up with Moxey/ Thelwell regime as they need a yes man
How else can he keep his $500k a year salary.

05 May 2016 07:03:52
I know its not likely to happen but I hope we offer Zeli a new contract. If he is over his injuries he can still Bethe creative attacking midfielder. If we let him go I feel certain Rowett will snap him up for blues as he knows him from his days at Burton. It will be Mark Davies all over again.
