The Blackburn game is vital .... now is not the time for players , management and fans to lose their bottle by being defeatist.......
let the Blackburn fans do all the demonstrating and booing and watch us take the 3 points
We all need to MAN UP to the situation on saturday....
when the going gets tough the tough get going !!

Good Billy Ocean impression....but we,re just abit fed up of it now.....sod it-lets boo Morgan and Porkchop face until we are blue in the face.

It's a tough time for us wolves fans but let's not forget the dark days of Div 4 when we nearly went out of business, at least we are in good health finance wise. we'll never have the cash to splash so what we really hope is that we do end up with a manager who has the craft of working the magic with limited funds, that might be curbishley come summer. I also think the investment in the academy side will prove well founded in the long run even if we have to suffer relegation is time around

Surely good financial management is more important than what division we playing in. The Champ has some good teams too - West ham, Leeds, Leicester, Brum - all similar pedigree to Wolves. Sure it's frustrating but somtimes a few years in the Prem can work out (Stoke, Fulham, Wigan till this year) sometimes not (Blackpool, Hull). We're somewhere between these guys.

At least we are not Glasgow Rangers

You are right, we are in a better shape than Rangers. And we were like that once - Bhatti brothers anyone?

(Except with Rangers the SPL will fudge the whole affair and there will be a club called Rangers playing at Ibrox in the SPL next season whatever happens)

After all his years watching Liverpool surely Mr Morgan can see enough is enough. There is no quality at all in the club (excpt Fletcher) it has got to be time to get a top quality management team in and back them to build a quality club.Otherwise what was the point in buying us in the first place ?......

05 Mar 2012 20:27:09
David Davis recalled. Now play him young & hungry nowt to lose.

05 Mar 2012 20:26:29
Firstly may I say the fulum result was a complete joke 5-0 playing 4-5-1 secondly Ohara is not fit you can tell a mile off and also why isn't bassong playing along side craddock in defence kightly was utter crap along most of the other players We should of tried harder for any other manager tc is gonna relegate us because he is a coach and a poor one at that championship here we come we won't beat Blackburn Saturday we are the worst team in the league ATM Morgan should be ashamed of himself the way he has conducted the sacking of McCarthy and not finding a replacement manager 18 million on a stand that's gonna be empty for years to come my season ticket will not be renewed not a chance I want to see positive footy

It's easy to criticise Morgan but he's put his money behind MM. Berra, Hunt, Halford, the Hoff, Myokolou, the list goes on (oh yes, Jonsonn). A bunch of mediocrity unlikely to keep us in the top division. Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan, WBA, Fulham, Everton and Newcastle all seem to be able to unearth class players at an affordable price.

I think Steve Morgan's entitled to say 'stick' rather than 'twist'. After all it's his money.

Everyone seems to forget that morgan gave mm the money he judt didnt spend it right yes he should of stepped in n said look these players wont help us get where we wanna go spend it wisely maybe then mick would still be in a job we wouldnt be in the position we are in now ?

I personally feel sorry for Morgan cos his been shafted by MM and probably Moxey too ,you must remember that this is his first footy club crisis and Moxey should have adviced him but i think he will learn from this and not be so loyal to these idiots again cos if he don't we are in BIG trouble

Steve morgan has been naive jez has kept his head down weve let mick saddle the club with players that cant cut it in the prem mick used to call us numptys for having an opinion i sussed him after the man u and brum cup games he was out of his depth its only now we see how rotten it really is

That last post is a bit harsh. Even if it all ended on a sour note I really can't see how any Wolves fan can say McCarthy was rotten.

There was no indication in the text iam replying to that the texter meant mm was rotten he obviously meant the set up he has been proved right by the recent jhonson fiasco he s probably having a few bevvys at the goalpost before every home game that explains everything L O L

What do you reckon it would cost for a consortium to come in and buy Wolves...they would have to accept no return for a number of years with every penny plus being ploughed into the team?
Should a consortium be fan based or purely money based?

Would Morgan want to sell? He is making a mint out of the club.

A fan's protest club is the way to go, starting from the bottom pyramid.

Do us all a favour and do it at the end of the season. No amount of bellyaching is going to do anything this season.

05 Mar 2012 16:59:31
why are fans asking other fans not to protest are these people happy with whats going on people who care wont sit back and say nothing they have every rite to be heard we no that morgan and moxey dont care but we do and if you are one of the happy band let me know why

These people who want to say nothing are the same people who disappeared when the club was on it's knee's in the 80's and we were getting 5 or 6 k crowds ,,,they bury there heads in the sand and say things like stop being negative

The point is not to demonstrate or not, but when and how to do it........
if we demonstrate during matches you can kiss the game goodbye, if done properly there may be a chance of staying up and making our point at the same time....

p.s. ... all albion fans clear off you've had your fun

We should protest during game thats when the 2 clowns ave to listen also if players are dedicated to staying up it should have a positive effect on them knowing how much it means to us

Well if they go 2 up you can bet your bottom dollar the wolves wont be taking prisoners so players better beware as well

Protest during the game... are you serious ??? the mind boggles at the absurd comments made on here....... all clubs talk about the crowd being the 12th player... they say that for a reason !!

Yeah the crowd are the 12th man but if the other 11 men are taking the pee out of you

Your not going to stand there and take it are you

When did shouting negatives at anyone suddenly make them positive?

The 3 biggest games we have are blackburn, bolton and wigan...and you're seriously saying start booing and chanting negative stuff while the players are trying to win the game? I've heard it all now.....

Lets have a protest im sure our rivals will just love that you cant do anything but get behind the team i feel steve morgans biggest mistake was to give mm too much power thats why were in the mess were in so bring on the twelth man

The lads dont take the p they just cant cut it

If the 18m on the stand had been spent establishing us in the prem we woudn't be havig this debate. One player in and one loanie made perminent plus a free transfer was taking the p@'s

End of

If's but's and maybe's......... all we know for sure is that we are in a dog fight... we can winge complain point fingers or we can support the lads till it's certain one way or other.... stop moaning and held the lads fight during the game , you'll have plenty of time to complain later if we get relegated...and if not count our blessings and hope lessons have been learnt by M&M for next season

05 Mar 2012 16:57:56
Whether we stay up or not the team needs totally rebuilding. The board have to appoint a proven manager and give him the funds required.

With this board you must be joking

05 Mar 2012 16:30:19
Looking at the teams around us we could be already religated by the time we go to Norwich

05 mar 2012 15:45:55
"o,hara impressed with new boss".......hes also booked his summer holidays -this year its syria.

05 Mar 2012 15:38:54
Can,t belive Morgan has taken so much for granted this season after that last day nightmare last season. He has taken a massive gamble by sticking with McCarthy so long and not buying any estabalished quality. We were all saying we needed 2 centre-halves, a left-back, a good holding midfielder to play next to O,Hara and another striker during the summer but he has got to be arrogant or tighter than the S*#&,$ chairman......then he turns down Wilkins for the rest of the season in favour of McCarthy mk2.....great !

Totally agree connor or wilkins and he goes for the man who has coached the life out the team every class player we sign seems to lose it ie doyle johnson ohara morgan just wants to build his big house up and sell it !!!

05 Mar 2012 15:26:20
I urge all Wolves Fans on Sat get behind the team the time for protest with which I agree is when the players have left the field. Yesterday we saw a McCarthy 11 and system so we are no further fwd and for those that think Newcastle was such a stunning performance watch it again 2 lucky goals other than that we were battered from start to finish. Fulham have arguably the 2 tallest CB's in the league so what do we do put 1 up front and lamp it up the park all day long. We play a RB in midfield a CB at RB then wonder why we are all over the place at the back and create nowt from midfield. We play Berra who has been mistake prone all season and leave quality like Bassong on the bench. We loan out 2 midfielders in Gaurdioura and Hammil When I have long thought they should be playing why not everyone else has had more than there fair chance to shine and failed ! Yes I will protest on Saturday against how this once great club has been made a laughing stock by the 2 M's. My protest will be from 16.50pm onwards. Please join me in this as negativity whilst the players are on pitch will transfer to the players so come on Wolves. Top class support like we always do then let's make our doscontent heard. Morgan & Moxey please go now!!

Im right behind you but i think its going to be a nasty atmosphere as soon as we see the team sheet and nothing as changed again and when 1st goal goes in ,,the 2 M's better get there ear plugs ready ,,,,,they split the south bank again im sure its to tone the atmosphere down

Terry's reasoning behind the changes made for Newcastle were that you can't lose 5-1 and keep the same side. This time we lost 5-0 so I expect wholesale changes.
Team
De Vries
Zubar Johnson Bassong Ward
Hunt (not that I agree) Jonnsson (not that I agree) O'Hara
Doyle
Fletcher

Onto a looser allready, good idea to start with 10 men

Oh yea forgot about Jarvo! Well easily done he been anonymous for most of season anyhow! My mistake.

Glad kightly is not in there cos he aint no prem player thats for sure.
There showing the poor lad up by playing him ,his no where near fit or enough at mo

05 Mar 2012 12:56:04
Team to face Blackburn should be:
Hennesey,
Zubar, Bassong, Craddock, Ward
Kightly, Forde, O'Hara, Jarvis
Doyle
Fletcher.

Please stop playing Stearman and
Berra, what a
complete waste of time.

Doesn't matter now. May as well risk a few fresh feet in the team and add some unpredictability into the outcome. It's the certainty I can't stand.

Didn't watch the match did you stearman was probz our motm played well

All a disgrace-men v boys.......never thought I,d say that about Fulham

Why fulham are a good side or dont you watch football ?

Fulham lost to blackburn 3 1 in jan so they must be a good team hey

Yhh like when me beat man u they arent good at all

05 Mar 2012 12:49:31
Team for next week
Henno
Zubar
Stearman ( who accually didn't have a bad game yday )
Bassong
Ward

Jarvo
Milijas
Henry (if fit)
Kites

Fletch
Doyle

For me that's our best team I would put gaudiuola in n hammill but I cant
When we stay up this season I'm sure alot of these players are out the door like jonsson Johnson elokobi hunt

05 Mar 2012 10:49:20
Team for the Championship

De Vries
Foley Stearman Berra Ward
Kightly Henry Edwards Hunt
Vokes Ebanks Blake

Does this have a familiar ring?

No doubt the better (LOL) players will be sold

You are assuming that the prmoted teams want to buy Doyle, Hennessey, Fletcher and Jarvis. Fletcher will probably find a club, he's a promoted team surfer. The others are perhaps not prem standard these days.

More games next year in the championship ,dont for get ohara will be gone as soon as were are down ,and johnson ,35 years been fan make wonder what the hell for maybe soon in playing in league one with that team lol

You are ridiculous when you assume Hennessy is not prem standard, we would be mathametically down now if it hadn't been for him, and to be honest I think he and Fletcher will be the only one's to bring in decent money.

The best teams seem to know how to sign foreign players and manage them. Wolves never cracked that one, and that's probably down to Mick. To win the Champ next season or compete in the Prem we need more of the likes of Guardiora and Zubar rather than Moylouko and Maierhofer. More like that "unknown" Russian guy that put a hattrick past us yesterday.

Pogrebnyak isnt an unknown, a former UEFA Cup winner, Euro 2008 semi finalist. Been around Europe for years

Yeah n he was the most wanted forward while at zenit n at stutgard

And when Wolves go down, why would other premier league clubs want any of your players, ? when they can't keep you up.

05 Mar 2012 07:43:05
Hi I'm a wolves fan in so fickle I want to be took over by a billionaire n then when he's had enough we can go in to administration n the liquidation n start all over again in the conference

Come on afc wolves ..... By the way I'm being sarcastic

AFC Wolves is a good, realistic idea. A fans club is just what we need as our current ownership and management doesn't care

Let's form it now

And then let's invade the pitch and throw hotdogs at the Directors' box, banners everywhere, dig the pitch up, take over the world ........ wake up, wake up. Just a dream - phew!

05 Mar 2012 00:33:06
if we go down we are f@#%*d, doomed to the championship for years! so all of you get behind the team no banners no chants no protests just great support we can survive the drop but if you all get up on your high oss it will only make things worse when the season is over protest all you like but dont make us any more of an embarasment (SMH @ the board tho)

What do you mean (IF)you go down, the writings on the wall, Championship football followed by Lg 1
