Very telling thing on the goodbye interview with Moxey. He goes out of his way to slide in a point that SJH (and his Wolves, and Moxey) stuck to their word, if they made a promise they stuck to it. I think that's a dig at Fosun, saying they'd keep Kenny, then realising he lacked fire, and quickly ditching him for Zenga. I suspect there's been a falling out about it, and is why Moxey is going now.
And this is where we have prove ourselves, and prove that Moxey was wrong and the problem, not us.
I'd bet if this project has a difficult start and we turn on Fosun and / or Zenga, Moxey will feel vindicated that his cautious boring way was right, that they should have kept Kenny, that Fosun and us are fools.
With Moxey gone, we need to be one with Zenga, the team, and Fosun come what may, it will help them succeed, it will avoid Moxey being able to feel smug.

Yes Moxey has gone and that's the back of him, now we need to rise above how we've become after so many years frustrated in his presence, and not attach any of that frustration that Moxey fermented in us over many years onto the new set up if things aren't going right.
Many seem to have no patience left after Moxey (and Morgan) exhausted it and you can see how demanding and expectant of instant success a few fans still are, they're still carrying the frustration that Moxey and Morgan got us nowhere, we need to find a whole load of new patience for this new chapter.

I was really impressed with Zenga's reply to the E&S question over whether he was nervous before his first Wolves game at Rotherham. He said no, he was excited. I think good life advice there, from someone who in his playing career was right at the top, was a winner and was coached by the best.
In a way nervousness and excitement is really exactly the same emotional energy, just framed and perceived differently, as determined by the fear you allow yourself to feel in association with it. Just lose the fear, without it there's more chance of things going right and less to fear anyway. We are Wolves, let's be brave, if we fall flat on our face so what, we get up and go again. Fosun have the means to, we can relax and enjoy this :-)

Announcing people today wouldn't help anything, and may have distracted everyone's focus from Rotherham tomorrow. I bet on at least 2 more signings being announced next week (though I'm not ITK), and I'd guess on them being good :-)

I think we were in a rush to get players this week in time for Rotherham and to register squad numbers. That's done now. I think there will be more signings before window closes, but the pressure is off for now so they can be a bit more organised, maybe we'll get some new unveilings on Monday or Tuesday?
I suspect they must have a load of money lodged in a few deals waiting to come off, think Talisca waiting for permit fits with that.

Not sure about Talisca, do we need to spend so much to get a marquee signing who may want to move on like Afobe. Or maybe it's a master stroke and we will be top by Christmas.
Who knows what these interesting times will bring us but it sure isn't boring.

Hurray! Moxey gone! But our new MD is former Head of Commercial, so must have aided and abetted Moxey in his poor marketing decisions, like Moneyshop. That isn't encouraging, so think our new MD needs to prove himself by getting our brand identity and marketing straight, from the twisted mess Moxey left it in. But I'm open minded over the future so we'll see :-)

No negativity in what I posted, I just think its ran on for a lot longer than anticipated, and the reported 16 MIL fee could buy 2 or 3 quality players that know the league.
A poster on another forum knows a lot of Portuguese blokes through his work commitments and they can't believe that a club is willing to pay so much for him.
Though they all said that the other 3 we have taken are all solid players, Tiexeira (forgive spelling) especially, they were surprised he was allowed out on loan.

I am that bloke.
Ennis is a little Gem in the same mold as Jordan Graham, Conor Ronan and Daniel Armstrong, keen, skillful and really eager for the ball.
He just loves the ball, is quick witted and can score a goal. If he don't get the ball he comes back to collect it, but the difference there is, that he can hold it and set off on a run.
He definitely was the star of the show against Swansea, certainly deserved his MOTM.
Obviously still being regarded as a fringe player, but I am certain beyond doubt, if he gets an oppportunity alongside the new skillful foreigners he will shine.
We will have to see what develops with Zenga.

Official site says Williamson and Zyro will be given numbers when fit. I can understand Zyro not having a number because he is at least 6 months away from playing. Junior Hoilett would do a good job for us, apparently talks with Swansea have broken down, no transfer fee as he's a free agent, I think our Jeff is being very sensible on wages offerd (Talisca) before he becomes held to ransom with future signings, and some of our current players might become jealous and want bigger bank statements to spend on things most of us can only dream about. We need to take it easy, big money signings and big names = big wages, and that sometimes does not gain sucess, QPR springs to mind.
