All these fans saying "we don't want lambert" are you the same ones who said Bruce wasn't the right man for our club years ago but we're crying out for him just after the take over? Brainless comes to mind. The guy has a good record and it's as simple as that. Do you honestly think the likes of AVB, Warburton or Allardyce would have come to a club 17th in the championship? Get real! We are what we are and at the minute that's a low level championship side, but fortunately with the right guidance we have a squad capable of mountain a serious challenge for the play offs, so let's stop fascinating about managers that are totally out of our reach and get behind the manager that we are presented with regardless of whether all you experienced football experts agree with it or not. UTW.

That about sums it up Bolton. Doesn't matter who, somebody would object. Even if Alex Ferguson came out of retirement there would be Wolves fans who wouldn't want him. Too old, they would say. Too expensive, they would say.

Lambert is the best of the British managers available. Fantastic record at Norwich. Kept Villa in the PL. I prefer him to Big Sam anyway, no baggage. Vastly under-rated.

Had a couple earlier, but what the hell. Paul Lambert's "Barmy Army".

Whoever gets the wolves hot seat, some of won't be happy. Come on, we are wolves fans, we're fickle.
But the way to look at it is- who ever is in charge, is in charge of OUR team. Forget who owns the club, who's name is over the door, it's OURS. The supporters.
So, whoever gets the job, let's get behind him. Get behind him and whichever 11 he picks to wear the shirt. We have a reputation for being fickle. But we also have a reputation for being loud, loyal, passionate supporters. So let's show that side of our support and get behind the new gaffer.
Plenty of season left to play, let's not write it off just yet.

A few years ago Lambert was the guy I wanted after seeing him transform Norwich but his stock dropped following Villa and Blackburn however if it is him I hope he can deliver what he did at Norwich! Take him over Pearson or sherwood all day long.

wolves to lose 1-3
lambert looks a good appointment.

Thank the lord its not that cocky moron Pearson! UTW.

Just got this gut feeling that Paul Lambert could get this side sorted out, is C. V. is good getting Norwich promoted and keeping Villa up on shoestring and having the guts to walk out on Blackburn after not getting what he wanted to take club forward.
If Lambert is appointed we all need to get behind him and help him to get we winning again, just the kind of club Lambert needs to get is managing career back on course and you never now in football.

If Hoddle is interested we should snap him up now.

If not, could Warburton be tempted south of border? With Barton being given a reprieve makes you wonder whether he has the full support of the board.

COYW.

Totally agree Pad 02 l've been saying Hoddle or Warburton for ages, Hoddle l feel would get the best from Wolves now with the calibre of players we in for now, also Warburton great jpb at Brentford, also got Rangers promoted, would be over the moon with either one of these.

If Glenda is THAT brilliant, why has he never managed since leaving Wolves all those years ago? Just wondering.

04 Nov 2016 19:44:53
Hoddle? What r u smoking? He walked out on us 2 weeks before season started! He can keep away!

04 Nov 2016 20:16:15
Don't want Glen 'one-all' back - boring, boring, boring and remember the missing piece of the jigsaw Frankowski - great signing!

04 Nov 2016 20:27:58
Would never have Hoddle back what he done on Wolves, when the going got tough he soon left.
What about that Polish striker he signed saying it was the missing piece in the jig saw and he never scored a goal.
Another England manager who found the Wolves job to hard for him.

04 Nov 2016 22:17:42
Glenn Hoddle?! No offence but for those looking to get him in charge. I don't wanna know what happened you in your previous life!

Queens Park Rangers are considering replacing their manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with the former Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood.

Former Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is in line to replace Sven-Goran Eriksson as manager of Chinese Super League team Shanghai SIPG.

I very much doubt these two were ever in the mix to be Wolves next manager.

It's Lambert for me - just an opinion.

04 Nov 2016 11:19:36
Wolves get the leftovers, sounds about right.

04 Nov 2016 11:40:37
Always was going to be Lambert! Him and Thellwell are members of the same swingers club.
