Ward says he expects to stay...........we just can,t cop a break can we ?
Why aren't we surprised he has Had is pay cut by half but he is still on £10 k more than any prem club would pay him?

Ward is class...he's an all round plyer one to keep me thinks..
Ward is dreadful, gets caught out of position and is so slow to get back when he "bombs foward" to support, where by the way, he wastes the jeffing ball
He,s a dreadful premiership left-back because he is only a non-league centre-forward and you can,t get away with such tactics in the premiership......MM unfortunately had his favourites and it cost us......

if we get dof how will it work . will manager still be in charge of transfers or will these big decision be up to dof.
Ed could you explain {Ed001's Note - I don't know for sure how responsibility will be split. But I would expect the DoF to simply suggest signings, but the final decision to be the manager's. Also the DoF will be the one who goes out and gets the players and runs the scouting network, I would think.}

Moxey has stated he will be dealing with transfer issues, so maybe now a d.o.f will just get in the way of Stale ??

It's in the wind that we are selling Leigh Griffiths and Jake Cassidy. Griffiths is a firey forward still only 21 and Cassidy 19 with a goal ratio of 1 in 2 for Tranmere on loan last season.
If this comes to fruition you have to ask the question what the hell are they playing at letting young up and coming talent slip through their fingers...seems that question has been asked a lot in recent times!
You could keep a good half dozen of them on for less than Champagne Johnsons wage.
We won't sell Cassidy joking ay ya after bagging 7/8 goals on season debut I sure he will feature in our squad this season
Wouldn't be the first time we've shot ourselves in the foot with little or no sell on clause too.
With 7 subs next season surely the young and hungry will be given a far better chance of 1st team footie
