Watched the U21s last night. It is gratifying to know there is such talent in the club at this age group. However doubtful many if any will get a chance at senior level. Really entertaining game with fast flowing football from both sides. If only this could be replicated at the Molineux -still you never know. Barry

just seen ,stale his after ,a striker and a defender in jan ,source express and star ,which striker would you choose ,and the left back dunno may left back defenders about but the striker ,i would choose is tim matazv from psv ?any ideas ed who stale will go for ? jason wolvesforlife
Tim Matavz is a big ask. TBF I'm not sure we could get him, I'd expect him to go to a team like Everton but you never know!
What's the budget? For (say) £5m max, we're either looking at a striker from the French, Scandinavian or Dutch leagues, probably, or a bit-player at a premier club like Stoke or Newcastle. But that's more likely to be a loan deal (like Frimpong).
I can't see Stale doing a Mick and signing someone from a lower Championship or League 1 club.
