i think we need to invest in a new striker. Ebanks-blake can score but cant do it all. Doyle barely scores so we need someone to score the goals. im thinking someone like charlie austin or we should recall cassidy and try him out.

why are people slagging off mick?? last time I checked he won us the championship with this group of players minus the so-called 'brilliant additions' we got in the summer, can anyone seriously see stale doing the same, we can't win games at the second tier with passing football so we could never in the prem. If stale doesn't get his act together and produce something for the fans to be optimistic about then he won't see it till christmas and we'll be begging people like curbishley to come who actually know what football is like in England and how the transfers go for a team who is trying to get into the top tier

Since mm took over at Ipswich they've won more games than us just goes to show it was the team that's sh*the not the management

What one game?

Is this serious?

Ive been saying this all season, take the rose tinted glasses off, this bloke hasnt got a clue. Morgan and Moxey are money mad and have shafted us.

Issomething coincedental with that new coach arriving and not winning a game since he came

This wolves team is going nowhere.Morgan must put his hand in his pocket in january or go.people are starting to blme Stalle but he har to work with players who are second rate and this is down to Morgan not backing him.we made millions in the premier and we now get parachute payments also we have made millions from transfers but Morgan spends next to nothing.Stalle will get us where we want to be but needs backing along the way.

Calm down dear, the season doesn't start until January, the wins we've had we ain't looked great. Time and patience with necessary spends in Jan. keep away from the panic button please!

Are you real.the points we are droping now mean we will be too far behind the leading pack to catch up.you say dont panic well i say do panic and NOW.

The season doesn't start till january so who have I been paying to watch for all these weeks??

Mick's top flight limitations for me is his 80's / 90's approach. These work lower down the divisions but even now the Championship is changing and if he does not adapt his career his chances of future managerial jobs are going to be limited (championship and above in particular)
Mick's sides are best playing a direct 4-4-2 style, big man/little man up top, made up up of British and Irish players scouted and developed from clubs lower than his own.
Now it is honourable that he is attempting to pass on his learning and development in the game (loyalty, hard work and honesty, developing British and Irish nationals on a budget) however with the game changing fast and the foreign invasion, money eradicating loyalty as shown by Bull with us, Gerrard/Carragher (Liverpool, etc), this is not the answer anymore and successful managers will need to be from a different more open minded mould.
All said McCarthy's achievements outweighed Jones, Hoddle, Lee, Mcghee, Taylor and in terms of where we ended up Turner. Yet we forget that since the early 80's we have been in the main a second tier club and his reign by many is seen as a failure. In truth it hit a brick wall (after 2-3 good years) and I agree he had to go as at best with him at helm we would be relegation candidates in prem each year. The only thing being he should have either stayed till end of last season or gone 2months earlier than he did.
I wish him well at Ipswich and predict that Ipswich will be top 6 next season, but do mirror that any success he has best not be in expense for the mightly Wolves.
Solbakken will get us back on track with victory today at Turf Moor. COTW

So did the money he had to spend and wasted most of it, if D.J. Had been given half as much as M.M. We could maybe stayed in the Prem. UTW

I would agree with the exception of Jones, who did take us up, played attractive attacking football and delivered the last decent cup run. If he had been backed in the Prem, I think he would have done even better
