I don't understand why so many Wolves fans seem to hate Steve Morgan. Guys, give him a chance. Even if he is just trying to make money out of Wolves, he still wants the same as us (us being a premier league club). Yes, he may have got a few crucial decisions wrong, but give him a chance. In this day and age, for us to not have to worry about any kind of debt in our club is very rare. Quite frankly, the fans share some responsibility for everything that's gone wrong at Wolves. Don't forget, we (i didn't myself) called for McCarthy to be sacked aswell. It was hardly unexpected. I promise you, if everyone just got behind the team, manager, owner and club, we would do so much better. let's be honest, we're not actually in a relegation battle. Need to be more positve!

2 points out of the bottom 3 ay won since december and we ay in a relegation battle? wake up brother

Give him a chance. are you on the pop. how many chances does the bloke need, every chance this guy has had to improve our situation he has fu***d the job up. promotion. no real team investments, sack mccarthy. hire clipboard. interview god knows how many. dither. hire Solbakken. get cold feet, sack a guy trying to sort the team out, instead of backing him to the hilt. hire saunders a guy so out of his depth no one saw him coming. and you say give him a chance. if he wants real support from the fans, he can get rid of that poisonous grease ball Moxey, maybe then people might just see him in a different light. MFA {Ed001's Note - to be fair, Wolves fans need to stop whining and realise that they drove away every potential manager, which is why you ended up with Connor! Bruce would have been in the position, but all the moaning canned that. So I think you all need to man up and accept you are as much at fault for Connor as anyone else.}

What would you define as a relegation battle? maybe we are in a promotion battle then, yes that sounds a lot better and no doubt we will see the players perform a lot better now and actually defend well and score goals. what a load of numpties we all are its all our fault - we should all resign as supporters that is the solution.

Come on Ed. Bruce wasn't driven away by us. In fact he was the obvious choice and we'd have accepted him - since Morgan couldn't agree terms with Curbishley (the fans' choice at the start) anyway. Since when have the fans affected the appointment of a manager? {Ed001's Note - they did mate, Bruce was ruled out because of the abuse being flung about online. He was always Morgan's choice, ahead of Curbishley.}

When you are head of anything you are the leader and live and die by those decisions - do his brickies tell him how to run his business - no. Ed I think you are wrong to point a finger at the fans regarding Bruce as on line blogs only account for a small percentage of the fans. Ultimately he insisted on mccarthy being sacked; appointed connor when knowone wanted him and could see the risks ; Solbakken who most had never heard of and now Saunders - its fair to say he doesn't give a hoot reagrding what the fans want as if so curbishly would have been appointed a long time ago. {Ed001's Note - when you have a business that lives and dies on the fans spending money, those same fans saying they wouldn't go if Bruce was appointed, then you have to say Morgan had no choice. He doesn't have the money right now to afford to subsidise Wolves, he needed the fans to still turn up. Connor wasn't who he wanted, but no one was available, the money wasn't there to go out and poach a manager, so Connor was all that was left, once Bruce and Curbishley were out of the picture. The fans made it plain they wanted Curbs, but Curbs wanted more money than the club could pay. Sorry but you have to accept that you made Bruce wary of taking the job and Morgan wary of giving it to him, even though a deal had been agreed for him to take over. You can try and pretend the fans didn't have anything to do with it, but quite simply you did, Bruce was getting dogloads of abuse.}

Got to agree with Ed mate-Bruce was the anti-Christ to us fans online.

So basically having an unproven foreign manager / back room team and sacking them and then appointing an unproven manager from the first division /blue square league was / is cheaper than paying a proven manager what he believes he is worth - yep that makes sence and is actually exactly what all the fans who hated bruce so much wanted.

100 percent right ed they wrote on twitter that they didn't want bruce and moxey rang bruce up to tell him that. so yes it was the fans who stopped bruce becoming manager (and where are hull now ) us fans are now living to regret that decision big time

I don't blame Saunders.
The blame clearly lies with Moxey and Morgan.

Why are peeps blaming DS, yes it is Morgans fault mostly.
Those players are to blame the most

Henry/Ward/Foley/Doyle/Berra

Once this bunch are gone things will improve fast.

We got a wage bill with 40 odd players on it thanks to useless Mccarthy and it will take time

Be patient

You didn't call McCarthy useless when he got us promoted, did you?

Can't blame Mick. He's been gone a year now so plenty of time to have sorted out the wage bill. Last summer would have been the obvious slot.

In fact can't blame Mick even a year ago. It wasn't him signing the cheques. He was spending the money that was made available to him. He's hardly going to say no.

I called Mccarthy useless when he arrived at Mol and I was right because is he useless.

Putting inept players on long contracts is plain dumb

Just to rub salt in the wound TC guided Ipswich to their 4-0 demolition of Middlesbrough in Micks absence. Stearman thanked fans for the warm welcome and obviously helped keep the clean sheet saying 'onwards and upwards!' You couldn't write it could ya?

Why are you disagreeing, the first post is a fact you numpties!

03 Feb 2013 20:38:32
this set of players are a waste of time no passion. As a lifetime wolves fan we don't want to talk football anymore nearly two years of depression if you were playing in italy you would be pelted with rotten tomatoes.

03 Feb 2013 20:10:56
Getting rid of all the dross.
We will survive this season.
DS will be given a. load of cash to mount his attack for the premiership next season.

The Doog

That doesn't make sense. When we're not even sure of staying in this league, the idea of planning an assault on the one above is deluded thinking.

Anyone remember the knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "I'll fight you with one hand tied behind my back" etc etc, as his challenger hacks pieces off of him.

Who is paying the express and star off? Somebody at wolves have the newspaper in their pockets. Have tried several times to post the situation about Morgan London thing and has never got posted. Why because the express and star are being kept sweet without a doubt. A full investigation needs to be taken place and not hidden from us fans Morgan and his cronies won't be able to carry on like this if we drop in div 1 as no profits from players will be achieved as we won't have any.

Amidst all this negativity an idea managed to struggle through. How about we all get 100% behind the team on Saturday, raise the roof and make it hell for Leeds. It's a strange phenomenon in these parts but it is called supporting your team! Let's try it.

They had our suport and threw it back in our faces. they don't care about us or the shirts they wear, what you give is what you get.

And just let Morgan and Moxey continue to take the Mickey. Grow some and make a stand against these crooks that are taking us all for a ride.

Pathetic, predictable replies #negative

I really don't get why people are on Saunders back already if you was manager of donny and wolves offered you the job would you turn down to manage a big club no and his tactics might be "hoof ball" but Thursday we was slick in parts and we went long when we had to I really wish some fans would accually get behind the team than slate cause they don't like certain players or the board or the manager all that matters is supporting the team and getting a win

Oh I dunno. Hoof ball used to work at this level but "boot it oop the park, onnyweer will do" will get us no further than mid table in any one season. (Which is as much as we can hope for just now).

I've said elsewhere that the team should be capable of getting more points especially against lower half teams. Remember the first few weeks of the season, beating Ipswich and Peterborough etc? We shed points to both those teams at the Mol so what happened?

Also if we want to hold on to the likes of Sako we need to be doing better than this.

I dream of being mid- table - bring it on!

03 Feb 2013 13:34:09
i didn't want scotland when we were linked with him and still don't be since going barnsle he's scored 2 ha

Yes I noticed that. Anyway, all history now. Remember we have SEB and Doyle up front - both players were wanted by other clubs above us so they can't be so bad. Can they?

03 Feb 2013 13:11:58
Dean Saunders was doing well with Donny so give him a chance to bed in and turn things around you spoilt impatient persons who grew up in this ruined disposable society!

Its people on internet forums who are ruining this club, if you don't have anything positive to say go down the gym and hit a punchbag, don't take it out on your CLUB!

EBW

Could you please furnish us with a list of positives we are supposed to have at the moment? Good luck with that.

Two points out of 12. Not Deano's fault really, but as that's been the only major change to the team this year our esteemed owners must believe he can get more out of the team than Stale did.

EBW - sorry missed all your positives and not sure exactly how many spoilt impatient persons are playing in the first team. I have worked hard to bewhere I am and at any place of employmet if you didn't deliver what you were paid to do you were sacked. Ward and Foley cannot defend yet they constantly get picked. Doyle doesn't score goals but still get picked. any way back to all your posiitves EBW goooo on my son let's av it.

How's that list of positives coming on?

03 Feb 2013 12:38:09
cant see us taking any points against leeds, barnsley win then we in bottom 3, can't win atall so looks like at the mo we going down, then morgan didn't give funds to buy in jan, got unexperiance manager in who got doncaster relugated, never thought this would happen to us, morgan sell up now and stop ruining our club

Remember last season? We were struggling to get points meanwhile Wigan, QPR etc started to win. It's happening again.

We have to do what Wigan and QPR did last season. Whatever that was.

03 Feb 2013 09:48:37
If any manager cannot keep this crop of players in the championship they really should consider themselves a failure and give up. In this side we have in Sako one of the best players in the league, in SEB a striker that is more than capable of 20+ goals per season, Doyle/Foley/Hunt/Ward all full internationals with Ireland, Peszcho of Poland, Berra of Scotland, Johnson/Henry who both were only 18months ago in provisional England squads. All the manager needs in to get these guys playing and we are much better than the others in and around us in the division.

That's right. These players are, officially, class. International class. Teams above us want to sign them.

So why can't they play as a team together?

03 Feb 2013 09:26:08
How can anyone slate saunders we should be grateful anyone wanted the job to work with these muppets damange his growing reputation no backing the clubs a complete mess stuck with players clearly no one wants and no money to spend it's going from bad to worse it's clearly not the 4 managers we have had

Danny

Something needs to be done to shake the foundations of our club. We need to club together, site by site, and show some solidarity in getting the Molineux hierarchy to do what's best for Wolves rather than what's best for the financial stability of both the club and Redrow. Wolves websites need to get together and have a united front against ehats going on. I belong to an independent Wolves website that feels strongly against what is going on - please forget competition and join in the online revolution and visit allied sites to get something done.

Brill idea. we must be as one and unite to rid ourselves of the parasites feeding off our great club. we must spread the word about the protest taking place at the leeds game and get every true wolves fan to join us.

Well let's get together next home game and start the meeting at kick off-the intrest won't be on the game but on the empty seats and the crowd outside the ground!. that will make our point.

Wolvesoutsider

We should meet outside the ground before kick off and protest and protest inside during the game so that the tv and radio see and hear what's going on.

You mean just like Blackburn - no thanks!

02 Feb 2013 23:55:48
If you are a winger it does not matter which side you play on look at Ince of Blackpool left footed but played on the right and cuts inside to shoot with his stronger foot. Pezsko is right footed yes but are you saying his industry can't be utilized on the left side cutting in. Why cross to strikers who rarely win anything in the air? drill it in there and hope for a rebound or a short pass or shot. I'd rather have Pezsko in my team than Hunt.
