So the first job is done as we have Jackett in charge, not my choice but gets my support.
Now is the time or Morgan to show real belief and faith in the club and address the real issues and sack Moxey
The last three years cannot all be blamed on bad managers and players as they contributed in the main but Moxey has to take a lot of blame for the following reasons
1) Allowing MM to build such a large squad of mediocre players
2) Agreeing to player contracts that are too long in footballing terms
3) Not backing Saunders in January with transfer funds
4) Playing hard ball last summer and selling Jarvis and Fletcher to late so that Solbakken could not buy and extra few players forcing the "terrible trio" to sit on the side lines
5) Sticking with Solbakkens plan to sell Zubar just when Saunders had found a shape and our defence looked like it could defend
For Jackett to achieve what we require there needs to be other structural changes at the club and the main one must be to have better direction at the top.
Moxey has too much baggage associated with him and is part of the problem

I wouldn't call someone who set up the foundations of Swansea, saved them from relegation, got promotion, won the JPT, got Millwall promoted with no funds and to a semifinal of the FA Cup a donkey in the least.
He's highly rated by Millwall and Swansea supporters and by Grahame Taylor.
Moxey/Morgan make a sensible decision for once.
Andy, I'm hoping it was more a reference to clothing than his ability.

Yawn at the 'Swansea foundations' statement being used yet again!. won league 1 on a budget - most league 1 teams have to try to do this! . won the JPTrophy - wow, a lower division trophy, amazing!. to say I'm underwhelmed by this is an understatement!
He is definatley not a championship manager who I would call top quality as when he was linked with a host of good clubs such as leeds, forest and brighton their fans just laughed it off

SO it's official, it's Jackett. no press conference until monday morning. seems the usual 'extensive search and interviews' line has been used again, rather than 'we went for the easy option'.
M8 please do me a favour and shut up, who did we expect? My actions and words are backed up by 35yrs of following my club, he's our manager so let's support him, he not the cheap option, and let's not forget Coyle and McClaren have been out of a job for a while now, jackett meanwhile for a few weeks, speaks volumes me thinks! Waw!
Didnt say it was the cheap option, I said it was the easy option,. going for someone who hasn't done much (league 1 and a mickey mouse trophy doesn't impress me!. and don't mention laying the foundations for how Swansea play as its a ridiculous statement!) instead of showing some ambition! Does the E&S only have two phone numbers? Graham Taylor and Ron Saunders? Every time we change a manager those two are rolled out. Taylor says they only communicated by text now and agin. Why does his opinion count for anything. Remember when Big Ron said Deano would put the fun back into training? Pity he couldn't put any quality on the pitch.

Are you going back to their Watford days? Anyway I can't see it. It's going to be crowded enough with Thelwell and (manager) and to add a DoF would be overkill.

Just wondering. if Jackett has been offered the job why hast he accepted yet? I'm not saying he hasn't been offered the job but wouldn't he just accept it?
Also for those of you who seem to be having trouble placing a bet because "the bookies have stopped taking bets" there are four main line Bookmakers still taking bets on Wolves next manager (and they haven't stopped at any point).

Number 1, of course we'll get behind him. But this is a victory for pragmatism over vision. We have brought a third tier coach into our third tier club. We can look forward to a winter of grim football. Might get us promoted, but I was hoping for a long term plan. This is a horses for courses appointment. Uninspired, disappointed and underwhelmed. But I will support the lads
I don't mind who gets the job and i'll back them who ever they are but if they don't realise early that certain players are bad news then its a 5th manager the sack before Xmas.
Johnson, O'hara, Ward and the main one Karl Henry need booting and if this manger can not see it early then I suggest the crowd get some backbone and guts for once and get them out themselfs because your to blame as much as Morgan.
So come on and get these trouble makers out of our club once and for all.
