Another of our promising young talents that we got rid of to add to the list now rising through the leagues. Malone quality left back would of been ideal fir him this season.

Yes we all no how good he is but if he wants 1st team football n he can't get it at wolves then he's going to leave

WHY DO WE KEEP LETTING OUR OUR TALENT GO ?? Why not loan them out, or at least put a first option buy back clause in then let me go to another club on a free, why just cast em out and release them after working years to improve there game ?? madness

That was Mick Mcarthy's decision not Morgan or Moxey

I feel Ashley hemmings will be the next one always look a good little player

We've released hemmings ain't we.

And Harris has gone so to mcgoary.

James spray

Yep forgot about him, score on your debut and your finished at wolves.

there should be no problems when it comes to cheap but smart transfrers
diop[tank of a midfeilder]
faubert
faye
noble
hargreaves
almunia
guzan
cuellar
carew
owen[joke]
saha
paul green
all of these are either currently or soon to be free and most are proven in the champ with west ham but wages could pose a problem
ALFA WOLF

Almunia ? are you serious he is a terrible keeper.

Wages are ALWAYS a problem with us, chelsea go spend 50 million on torres, 28 million on hazard, 38 million on hulk, and we wont even pay the wages on a free transfer lol..... thats the gap folks, thats what the reality is nowdays

IF Wolves decide to go with a Sporting Director it will be one of Kevin Keegan, Peter Reid or Avram Grant

Ried most likley, keegan u must be joking, canthandle the pressure, and grant i doubht very much as he like to be a manager

souness i think is most likley, has good relationhsip wid morgan too

Ive heard jez would love to give souness a job so he would have the pleasure in sacking him the next day !!

John Rudge DOF u have been warned

i dont want to be doom n gloom im most looking forward to SS 1st game in charge but what about if it all goes horribley wrong like at koln i no they got massive problems but if results dont start goin our way how long before the fans start moaning ect

While there are no garrenties i think stalle will be brilliant for us.just give him a chance and i think he could get the glory days back.

I think the new gaffer will get time we all know what a mess he has got to sort out well get behind him thats for sure !

Stayle said himself " Jesus & Jose could of not saved Koln" - I have a good feeling about him.Could get off to a bumpy start but remember Reading were 16th place in the league last November.
Gibo.

My point was you no what wolves fans are like can never be happy I no its the odd few I'm really looking forward to his 1st match hopefully I'll be there

Really need to write next season off as a work in progress season, if something happens then bonus, but if were sraping for the playoffs come mid season, i hope wolves fans stay focussed and the doom mongers keep quiet

Although i like the idea of Graham Taylor becoming out D.O.F...

Doesnt look likley to happen as he's quoted that he's winding down from football after going to the euros as a spokesperson and commentator.

The reason he has resigned from the Watford job is he cant put 100 % into it anymore.

This was in the Local Watford paper yesturday....

Spurs look set to lose both Modric and Van der Vaart. Jarvis lined up as a replacement.

Well Arry, better go ask his dog for 10 million for Jarvo and 10 miillion + 2 million when he reaches 20 goals for Fletcher or he can look elsewhere !

Negations have begun with Rosie (Arry's dog)

not long now one day, transfer windows open let the games begin

1 month and 1 day

I thought the transfer window opens 1st of june got that wrong again

I bet you the same person who thought Bjorn Sig had signed for Swansea lol

I can assure you he/she is not (grin). But I too was tempted to say something like the first transfer will be Sigurdsson.

I think I'll be disappointed in Brendan Rogers and Paul Lambert if they go to Liverpool and Villa, two clubs who have struggled through last season and leaving Swansea and Norwich who deserve nothing but praise. If Stale gets us into the Prem and then up to mid-table in a couple of years and then leaves for a club playing worse football I'd be devastated. Don't they owe the club more than what they're doing to them?
DB

I agree. Guess managers have no more loyalty than players in most cases.

Not really. The club owes loyalty to the managers I would have thought. Brought both clubs their best year since the 80s.

It's when managers fail but are kept on we have to start asking about loyalty.

I wonder if we will ever see a transfer window for managers. imagine the last day of the managers transfer window.

I don't believe players should be allowed to transfer mid-season to a club in the same competition. I guess the same should be true for managers.

Oh well, we didn't sign a new manager last season anyway.

G Taylor is an excellent shout for DOF. As has been mentioned his attention to detail at grass routes level introduced the likes of Murray, Keane, Lescott, Naylor and identified the need for focus at academy level which has gone from strength to strength and if for a little more nurturing at the final hurdle we could be bringing through like at the Saints. This model will be essential to Wolves going forward and the success of Stale as funds can then be used on buying 1 higher value signing (Fletcher) rather than 3-4 mediocre signings (Jonsson, De Vries, Berra, etc). The combination will blend strategy from the bottom to senior team and business accument (from GT) with enthuiasm and fresh ideas (from Stale). As a betting man I am going say Stale will be 5-years+ in job and in that time we will be established in the higher reaches of the league and best in the midlands. As for this summer Jarvis is a cert to leave - take money and reinvest, I believe Fletch will also leave - question has to be asked after TC leaving him out for some of the final games whether a deal is done and to be announced come 1 July - but would like him to stay. As for the others it is down to Stale when he finishes casting eyes over the DVDs and meeting them if they tick the boxes and fit his team strategy they will stay, if not they will be out of here - gut thinks we will see a few trusty signings from what Stale knows with a focus on youth (follow lead of newcastle, saints, etc - as Steve Morgan has been closely examining their successful models). Believe that the good times are set to return but do not think we are definate to return first time of asking. My thought is that it will be Bolton + 2 of 8 others.

I don't think we're lined up for promotion either. But who knows with Stolbaken? We could slump or we could nail it.

But I don't rate GT I'm afraid. His fame was with Watford and long balls. After that he was average at best. Maybe he has DoF skills, I don't know.
