Ed how has Ebanks-Landell been getting on at Bury? I noticed good ratings in papers but they aren't very informative. {Ed003's Note - I've not really seen much of Bury,sorry mate}
I have a mate on the coaching staff at bury,they are really impressed with docherty Ebanks landell just broke into team as is performing well.

i remember the great bobby robson when managing england in the world cup finals was getting it wrong the players without withdrawing their support urged him to change the formation which he did and admitted the fact the point is stale doesnt know this league so of course some guidance is needed i personally think it will come good wolves are a club and a team no man knows it all

Hang on, hang on, Bolton who were in the prem with us last season are in a similar league position to us. Also blues who won the carling cup and finished 8th then went down are also struggling in the bottom half. I don't think things are as bad as we all perseve they are.
Bolton have not gone 9 without a win and are improving and they have sacked a manager!

After what happened to Stale's car I think it's time for us true supporters to give him a cheer and a shout-out at the next match! Show him we support him!! Who knows, if we show we have belief, the players may respond positively too!

Damn...Ill agree with almost everyone who posts here that things ain't pretty at the moment,we look lost,disjointed at times,lethargic'mainly in the 2nd half of games...but seriously'where has this gossip about wwfc being interested in gon Mcstrachan come from...talk about one1 step forward and 2 back'
Really fellow wolves fans you need to step back a bit here because if you keep piling the pressure on Stale'or moxey or Morgan...we will end up back at square one,with another hoof ball manager that will yes' get us up maybe,but who will then have us hammered match after match in the prem...is that what you really want for this club?
I don't and while it's painful watching the team flounder around throwing leads away,I can see that Stale is trying to work with poor "footballing' quality players, remember all Mm talked about was 'put a shift in, that's most likely because he can't handle tactically forward thinking players and it shows in the quality of the majority of players he brought here...with one or 2 exceptions of course,the ones who need to shape up or ship out'are the under achieving players who think this club owes them a living,and I'm sure there are a few in the dressing room ,and of course Morgan and Moxey,if this is a business and its how it has to be run then I'm guessing that there business acumen is leaving a hell of a lot to be desired,they must be able to see and hear what's going Ond in and around the ground,they have to back "their " manager with enough funds in January to bring atleast 4,possibly 5 players in of the quality that Stale needs to implement the footballing changes he is trying to bring about,
Be carefull what you wish for wolves fans...

Taking SAF as the bench mark (obviously) STS is 3rd in performance. You can argue that he's the youngest out of them all but the rest have had longer careers and more experience. I think that this puts into perspective that STS is a promising manager that does not have the necessary tools to do the job properly at wolves, and if your going to replace him you better replace him with someone who is proven not someone who's neither here nor there like GS. Lets just give STS some time, patience and money and the chances are he can take us somewhere. The results might not come straight away but as long as were not relegated and finnish high enough to attract the best names we can next season we will get back into the prem.
That is the most positive thing i have had to say this week.

Is there a new point to football or something? is it a competition to see who can take the club lower and lower? Gordon Strachan that's a gigantic step backwards! What are those persons doing up there? its like they want to kill our club. I hope to god someone who really cares for the club and fans steps in sometime soon if this carries on

Strachan? ...for gods sake, no! ..if we do sack Stale at least have someone with potential lined up, not the same old losers who sit on the managerial merry-go-round!! Strachan may have won the Scottish title with Celtic but every manager and his dog has a 50/50 chance of doing that (now 100% certainty)! ...when at boro after Celtic he left after they dropped to 20th - he's no better than what we have already, but at least stale is a young manager with potential!
I can't see Strachan being the answer either. He will bring in mediocre Scots players like Mick brought in mediocre Irish players. Stale on the other hand has brought in quality players from the continent. Can't see some of the other names bandied around being able to do that (Billy Davies, Owen Coyle, Mark Hughes...)

Right, so it's 532 and Sako plays behind a lone striker and we have two dedicated wing backs.
The best bit about your plan is that it leaves us with 3 centre backs. It's a pity that we need 3 CBs because of the poor quality back there.
You know what. After the last two home games I said if I was manager that would be the formation. Not Necessarily go for a win but grind out a few draws and get out of the losing habit and then look to win. Coincidentally it is the same formation that I used when i took Afc Telford from the blue square prem to league 1
