Its big Vince guys.

30 Aug 2017 22:15:54
No it isn't guys.

30 Aug 2017 23:12:46
Oh yes it is! 😊.

31 Aug 2017 00:07:25
He's behind you.

31 Aug 2017 09:33:42
Oh no he isn't.

30 Aug 2017 19:50:20
Vincent Aboubakar is definitely signing tomorrow subject to a medical in the morning.

30 Aug 2017 20:15:58
We'll see.

30 Aug 2017 21:07:09
Heron LOL.

30 Aug 2017 21:09:46
Cant see aboubakar signing not with our worries over ffp think our name maybe getting mentioned to push his price up i think we may already have our targets but wolves are not releasing their names so it makes it exciting and nailbiting at the same time in no way is this anything like when morgan was in charge and windows used to close with no activity at all all will be revealed tomorrow otherwise all these terrific signings will have been a waste of time.

30 Aug 2017 21:54:55
I have a feeling Heron has been right before .

{Ed047's Note - Porto could let Aboubakar go for only €20m, The deal could be very complicated especially because the club only owns 37.5% of his rights. So as you can see it would be a hard deal to gt done in so little space of time}.

30 Aug 2017 22:34:18
We are at most getting some unknown from man Utd and hugill. We ****ed up massively.

31 Aug 2017 09:07:21
Pompeywolf that a bold statement there till 11pm tonight before you can say a statement like that. I think a lot of fans are frustrated and nervous for the outcome of this transfer window. as nuno says we are all one. I hope we sign the players that will get us promotion.

31 Aug 2017 09:16:45
I still believe we'll see that evasive striker arrive today. I expect 2 players actually. This isn't ITK, just logic.

30 Aug 2017 19:28:39
Personaly with the money gained for making the prem , I would go all out to sign big Vincent Aboubakar they say 20 million slap 30 mill on the table money takes and speculate to accumulate.

31 Aug 2017 00:37:00
I'd prefer Gayle at that price. Least you know what you are getting at this level.

30 Aug 2017 19:14:09
ANOTHER STRIKER LEAVES ON LOAN THIS TIME IT'S JORDON ALLEN BACK TO AIRDRIE, ARE THERE ANY LEFT?

{Ed047's Note - Wolves will have a striker in mind to join and Colback looks set to join on a loan to buy have faith buddy}.

30 Aug 2017 20:16:41
I think 2 strikers plus Colback will arrive tomorrow.

{Ed047's Note - Just over 26 hours to get a move on}.

30 Aug 2017 21:05:44
We can cross Colback off that list Tim Nash saying deal couldn't be agreed.

30 Aug 2017 21:08:40
Colback deal off wants £70,000 a week LOL.

30 Aug 2017 18:12:11
Pablo Sarabia. 👍.

30 Aug 2017 17:15:46
2/ 1 according to bookies to sign Vincent Aboukar

Source Mercato.

30 Aug 2017 17:31:10
Wolves enter race for Vincent Aboubakar
Ligue 1 side Marseille are looking to sign a striker in the final hours of this transfer window and it is clear that their priority is currently FC Porto forward Vincent Aboubakar.

As reported by Foot Mercato, Marseille have now made three offers for the player, with the first two rejected.

The 3rd offer is worth €18m plus a 20% sell-on percentage. Porto manager Sergio Conceição wants to keep hold of the player, but Porto are in danger of being in trouble with FFP and are therefore likely going to be forced to sell the man whose contract expires in 2018.

Porto’s asking price is €20m, but the player has made it his priority to join Marseille.

The abovementioned media outlet announce now that Championship side Wolves have made contact, as it appears that Jorge Mendes is looking to work some deadline day magic.

{Ed047's Note - They are not the most reliable buddy}.

30 Aug 2017 16:49:11
I've seen Edwards and dicko on many freezing cold nights and guess what we lost and the football was s**t I would rather do things nuno and fosuns way I respect what Edwards and dicko have done but there not good enough for us anymore.

30 Aug 2017 15:57:12
Sky sports betting have jack colback 1/ 5 on to sign for wolves. Those odds can safely say its a done deal and only a matter of time.

30 Aug 2017 16:30:09
How about Colback and Gayle for Costa and keep Graham. Sign Palhinha; and Soares on loan. Loan Zyro until Christmas. Get Julan for U23's intially? Except I guess most of the moves are done but will be announced together with a big fanfare, tomorrow.

30 Aug 2017 22:28:19
For Costa are u for real there ain't players we are linked with I'd swap for Costa no way.

30 Aug 2017 15:39:10
Colback is a good player in my opinion,
Although after all the hype, I was hoping for something more dynamic . but still a day to go.

30 Aug 2017 14:13:36
Pmsl lupinhowler 👏👏👏.

30 Aug 2017 13:31:38
Wolves in talks to sign Jack Colback on loan from Newcastle.

30 Aug 2017 13:44:35
Would be a good signing we are lacking in the ginger department.

30 Aug 2017 14:00:55
We are Darlo, need to have a token Ginger. Maybe we could sign Chesney from Coronation street to play up front.

30 Aug 2017 14:17:31
Chesney's a big wuss. Would go missing under pressure. i'd rather have Gemma. Bit of midfield bite.

30 Aug 2017 15:37:30
How about Batterbys halve sister she has a good pair of strikers.

30 Aug 2017 13:08:47
Well isn't it great to be involved in transfer window day. How long has it been since we were. Normally our manager comes along and says we have finished our business. The new regime just say nothing until it has happenned. I bel;ieve we will sign two strikers and a midfield player at least.

I think that we shouldn't have let Dave Edwards go but really its just sentiment as he didn't fit into the new game patter, I met him a number of times and he is a true gentleman.

We need a poacher, Gayle and we need a striker who can hold the ball up Rhodes. There are many others we could get, how about Costa on loan until January!

I think Mendes is working hard for us and the future really is going to be an incredible journey.

We need to fill the ground now to back Fosum.

30 Aug 2017 13:04:18
nakki wells off to burnley, so he's not on our hit list then.

30 Aug 2017 12:30:55
Andy Keogh is scoring goals let get him back.

30 Aug 2017 12:05:04
To miserable doom mongers read outofdarkness and daveg posts for crying out loud get a grip int no pleasing some people if we got champions league final and lost to real madrid you would still bloody moan!

30 Aug 2017 12:30:53
Really can't see us doing well in Champions League final when we could only draw at Brentford.

30 Aug 2017 13:53:04
Wolves given time will once again be the top flight club it thrives to be, massive fan base, a new owner with vision a few small mistakes made but held his hands up, now coming together with the agent, management and players coming in, only good times ahead so let's enjoy and trust their vision.

30 Aug 2017 09:20:21
Looking at how we operate in the transfer market has shown that jeff shi and laurie dalrymple make moxey look like an amateur. Starting with bodvarsson who we sold for £3 million, profit made. Dave edwards brought for 700,000 sold for £1 million, profit made along with money well spent over 10 years.

Dicko brought for 300,000 sold for £3.5 million. Profit 10 times over. Even with ohara and johnson they would have made a profit if they were around . We have proper owners who know an assett and how to make money and run a business . Over time our club will be massive without a doubt.

30 Aug 2017 11:21:40
It's the same as the new players brought if we don't go up all could be sold as profit, the loan players could be brought if we go up also so very good business move.

30 Aug 2017 14:36:44
how does that make Moxey look an amateur who bought theses players in? and at what price? who sold fletcher and Jarvis at huge profit?

30 Aug 2017 15:00:35
Who brought the bomb squad in? Were they sold for profit? No. So what they made on fletcher and jarvis we all know went into balancing the books. All i was saying is the difference is fosun are an INVESTMENT company. Moxey invested in his own personal career to make sure he kept his job to the detriment of fans etc. Fosun and moxey are night and day anyone can see that.
thats my opinion anyway just as i respect everyone elses.

30 Aug 2017 08:15:45
Excellent article by TIM in the E&S. Certainly captures the moment. Edwards and Dicko certainly deserve our utmost respect and best wishes for the future. At my age having attended WWFC since 1962 I admit I am sentimental but also realistic. The revolution at Wolves does not come with any guarantees of promotion. This revolution to my mind is a high risk strategy for what is the toughest of leagues where relatively unproven players will need to cope with the Cardiff's and Millwalls on cold wet afternoons. I would have kept Edwards and Dicko for those tough afternoons. I would have preferred to see a blend of both Mendes stable and the guys who know the Championship - at least until promotion was attained.

30 Aug 2017 09:02:09
I agree, well done Tim. My main concern is if we do not get promotion how long will Fosun stick around and what happens to my club then.

30 Aug 2017 09:18:46
I agree. A real gamble by the new management. If we don't go up, Will we be clobbered under the Fair play rules? If Edwards had been on the pitch against my guess is we would have got a draw. I can't help feel this is all too much too quickly.

30 Aug 2017 09:55:54
"against Cardiff"

30 Aug 2017 10:23:10
To many scared of change, sod the mediocracy we've put up with for years let's strive to achieve success. FOSUN 👍.

30 Aug 2017 11:11:52
Well said PT, embrace the change guys Fosun are already running our club on a world class level, what's not to be positive about 🙂.

30 Aug 2017 11:19:19
FFS "if if if "!
If you want mediocrity go watch Burton as Moxey is there and that is what you will get.
Fosun are going for it because they only know success, something most fans have been brainwashed out of by the likes of Moxey.
Just stay with it hang on tight.

30 Aug 2017 13:02:48
Goggs 1959 fosun have said they're here for the long term to achieve success and to take wolves to levels we could only dream of only a few years ago. When they took over jeff shi stated that they wanted to buy a club that they could grow into so many levels, off the pitch, on the pitch, overseas etc. Chelsea, manchester clubs being examples. Difference being the above clubs can't grow any more than they already have. Wolves can.
finally all fosun will do is continously repeat the process were already doing and done from last season till we reach the premier league. We don't go up then players no doubt move on for huge profit or return to their parent clubs if they're on loan. The transfer fees are then re invested to start the process again and again. No way will fosun walk away without achieving their goals the sole reason chinese don't do failure in business . Its not in their culture or their governments interests to be seen to be anything other than successful.
Its absolute genious how it will play out, watford do similar only not on the scale that were doing it.
Fosun are here to stay, the football worlds wolves oyster and I for one are so grateful that atleast morgan left us in magnificent hands. Finally there's not many owners who stop off in a pub with an open wallett. that's pure pr gold.

30 Aug 2017 14:12:10
Not scared of any change PT but also have clear memories of Zenga, Solbakken etc. It is clear that the current management team have a certain focus and ambition but only time will tell if it will be effective. Fingers crossed.

30 Aug 2017 07:46:40
Fulham 1/ 3 odds to sign gayle looks like done deal, how can they out muscle us financially, looks like we will get Rhodes but rather have gayle.

30 Aug 2017 11:09:06
dodgy hamstring, doesn't fit the system and no-resale value, not sure we were ever in for him.

30 Aug 2017 11:29:57
Wolves look to invest in good players so they see Gayle as none investment as his price has reached his limit, he's a good player don't get me wrong but no money could be made on him, same as as few other players who have been linked with, so I believe any striker 's we get in will be loans deals with a buy clause from abroad.

30 Aug 2017 13:21:02
Perhaps his price has reached it's limit but a 20 goal a season striker could be enough for automatic promotion and its 130m prize.

Its all very well to buy players that we can make a profit on should we not get promoted, but promotion should be a higher priority than profit on any individual player.

This does not mean I'm in favour of Gayle although in my opinion he's better than some of the others we have been linked with recently, but injury concerns must be a risk. We could do better.

30 Aug 2017 00:12:23
SSN saying no offers on Gayle and they will only let him leave for offers over 20m and if they can find a replacement.
