This is how I would like the wolves team to be set out:
GK Hennessey (when he is back)
RB Zubar
CB Johnson
CB Margreitter
LB Ward (hopefully we can get a replacement tommorrow)
CM Doumbia
CM Henry
RAttackingMid Peszko
CentreAttackingMid (behind striker)Sigurdarson
LAttackingMid Sako/ Boukari (rotation)
ST Doyle (or replacement if he is sold)
What does everyone think?
Sort of a 4,2,3,1 formation. I agree its a good set up for ball retention and also a balance in attack and defence.

Sako has to start but I would like to include Boukari too. Could Sako do Sigurdarson's job, operating behind Doyle?

How about we play like spain and use 4 6 0 {Ed011's Note - With us it'd be more like playing 4-6-0 like Scotland... no wonder Fletcher left he has nightmares about that formation haha!

We played it like a friendly tonight which was ideal as it gave our new boys a good run out to start to gel , also thought stearman seemed to have gained confidence going forward especially, still need him replacing desperately but he will do a job in championship if needed . Looking forward to deadline day

Thought peszko looks as good as Jarvis ever did so that's a 7 mil profit without any weakening in the squad real optermism for the near future

As much as I hate to say this, Stearman is playing quite well
Who was at fault for NUFC goal
He did have a solid game tonight in all fairness to him.
If anyone was at fault it was Bath as he lost the physical ariel battle with Platt, but that guy is big and batth with only get stronger with age, CB's reach there peak late 20's the lads got plenty of time on his hands and for that matter so has Stearman.
Stearman was like a headless chicken sometimes ..get rid {Ed011's Note - I think he's decent cover for this season, can play at CB and RB. I'd keep him for now.
Platt used to go to my school EAST PARK JUNIOURS!he couldnt even make the footy team,im better than him!
Cant remember who was at fault for nufc goal it was months ago but ntfc goal was probably danny batth.who imo looked miles better than georg m

Just turned over for the match, Don Goodman is in the studio, I met him at Faro airport he has an Albion crest embroidered on his golf bag! WTF is he such an "ambassador" for us?
{Ed011's Note - Don Goodman played like 120 odd games for Wolves!! After he'd played for Albion mind you! He's played for both teams at the Masters too!! He's always been in around both clubs and still holds an affinity with both!! He's still a legend although seems to swing more towards Sandwell town then us it's good banter! When I was little I got the chance to go in one of the more fancy executive sections for a game and saw Don Goodman speaking to Sir Jack Hayward, I went over to Sir Jack and asked him for his autograph and he kindly gave to me and Don Goodman asked me if I wanted his too, not knowing who he was and assuming he was a random bloke who was just joking I said "No thank you!" and walked off and my shocked Dad was left reeling that I'd said no haha!... I'm sure you all wanted to hear that story... so there you go.
Don Goodman always been a baggie.

Thought this was a banter page ED? i posted yesterday Doyle had said on his account that rhymes with hitter that he was going to go and stand outside clubs on Friday to wind up the media. You never let it through. But yet you allow crap from wind up merchants through.
That post was a geniune post he had said that on his account that rhymes with hitter. {Ed011's Note - That wasn't me sorry, I was at the cinema yesterday and other Ed's pitch in. Although if you use the actual name of that site it's automatically deleted and I don't get to see it - but I know for a fact that Doyle doesn't have twitter and that account is a parody account and that joke was originally made by Balotelli.
Sometimes its hard been a wolves fan and reading what some of us write...
TBH ED i did actually wonder if it was actually Doyle or not as i was sure i'd seen the same comment before but couldn't remember where lol.

We need a new left back I wanted Joe Bennet but obviously he decided to play for a struggling team so has anybody got an idea for that and a new CB the Peterboro skipper Zakuani looks decent
What, the Joe Bennett who signed for Villa yesterday. I think we might struggle to buy him now.
What is it with Wolves fans and LBs? Ward will be one of the best LBs in the Championship and we're trying to replace him. There is a reason why Everton have been linked to Ward.
In my opinion too many fans just jump on the 'Ward's not good enough' band wagon. He will do a good job for us this season.

I for one am excited about the coming season, Stale is the new direction so many of the fans wanted. It is going to take a little while to click but watch on here if it is not immediate it will be like the end of the world. Jones would be a great signing but when we tried in the Prem wages were the problem, I don't see why that will have changed.

would like to see us go for a right back, zubar is somewhat of a liability, we could get James Perch from newcastle for a spare million or 2. not getting a game worth a shot. what about ryan shotton from stoke also, a few mil he has potential, even on a loan for season
Watched perch last season and hav mates who are newcastle fans and they said if he plays he will always pick up a yellow card. he is crap aswell apparently. NO THANKS
