I would be very disappointed if Dann joined Blackburn :L.
Not from a wolves perspective, i think offering a deadline day offer is the right way, but Blackburn are obviously in trouble, they've been terrible this season and that will carry on.
Why would he join a team destined for possible relagation?
Silly man.

Cash, simples!

apparntly at end of last season 20m was made available? we have spent 12m max so where's the other 8m plus we have shipped players out on loan! have we been screwed by wolves? us fans put money in so dont we deserve more! if we dont buy and come january we are struggling again i hope mm and moxey can sleep at night! not a happy wolves fan

We spent less than that johnson 4.5 million ohara 3,5 million only spent 8 million and the free goalkeeper there being tight this year what did morgan say watch this space lol

Why do you as a Wolves fan deserve more? If you want more save up and buy your own football team! Have you seen the 3 M's? Do they look and sound like they want to wrong the Wolves and our so called nay saying fans...stop your complaining and actually support the team. Man life must suck having the glass half empty all the time.

Where the heck did the 20m figure come from? Morgan made it very clear that we would be spending less than last season when we spent around 18m. I may not be the brightest but 20m would not be less than 18m. So far Morgan has been true to every word he said - we have less money to spend and we have spent less money. Sure there may still be some funds in the kitty but are there players out there who want to buy into the ethos of the club and play for a sensible, not over the top, wage whilst also improving what we have?

Scott Dann for instance proved last season that he is money orientated so whilst he might improve the quality of the team, he sure wouldn't fit the ethos.

Ian

I heard that a lot of the money has gone to O'Hara's £35,000 a week and Johnson's £40,000 a week wages, their wages alone are about £4,000,000 a year and they cost £8 mill to sign to thats £12mill including De Vries wages that'd be £13mill spent tops so a £5mill bid for Dann and £40,000 a week wages should be possible if we did have £20mill to spend. That's some serious maths going on there too.

Totally no ambition, utterly clueless.
Dann going to Blackburn, who along
with QPR who have signed Traore
are now stronger than Wolves.
Hope you all realise that when we
are struggling...yet again

If you really think they are stronger you need treatment

What is it with your obsession with QPR. Granted they may be making some good signings but we've also made two quality signings.

If we had 0 or 1 pt, five signings that are doing nothing but warming the subs bench then I could understand you pessimisum. But we are not. We've got 7pts, signed two players who have improved our first 11 and we're playing with confidence.

There will be tougher games to come and I would like another signing. But please support the club don't just write them off just because other teams are spending a bit of money.

with MM looking at signing a central midfielder earlier in the transfer window with moves for Gardner and Spearing then this should mean we are still in the market for a central midfielder. Maybe with the injury to Ebanks-Blake then we should look at a loan deal for a striker or a cheap option. And I still believe we need a left back. Ward has played well so far this season but we have no cover.

My shouts would be to try and tempt Huddlestone to Molineux. However I understand this is very unlikely. For a striker, I would try Yakubu from Everton either on loan or permanently. They are desperate for money so would be a cheap solution. And for a left back, I'd look at Ridgewell. Especially now he's handed in a transfer request at Blues.

What does everybody else think?

I'd take all three mate but if I only had one pick it would be Huddlestone, he'd be a star in old gold & black.

Agree Huddlestone, but most unlikely. Ridgewell, dunno, thought about him as a possibliity in early June, but I've got to say Ward's support play in attack and improved defensive capabilities so far, probably make him first choice. If we go for anyone my guess it will be a CM, CB (loan?) but doubt now we will spend any money until Jan or June/July 2012.

Moxey said we can sign one more on loan, I think they should sign attack midfielder to replace Henry. Hope u all argee!

30 Aug 2011 08:48:08
Signature Moxey quote from today's story to sum up Wolves transfer outlook: "We're comfortable with where we are." Taken from Martian Swain who recently done an interview with Jez Moxey which should be in today's E&S.
Gibo.

On Express and Star website today that Moxey says we may make a late loan signing. No names mentioned but my guess would be we're trying to get a defensive midfielder. With the current form of Berra I doubt the club will aim for a CB now.

This was tweeted before the E&S was published Moxey did say there was room for a loan signing but also said Wolves were comfortable with where we are.I reckon it is a LB or a MF position they will be looking at.
