I have called several things right this season including the relegation scrap ( at the start of the season), the win at Millwall and a return to the 80's doom and gloom. Well here is the boldest one yet. WE WILL SURVIVE THE WEEKEND. Huddesfield 1 Barnsley 0. Palace 3 Posh 0. Brighton 1 The once mighty Wolves 3. Now i'm off to take my medicine.
GET MOXEY OUT.

First phase complete. palace drew tonight meaning they still need points to guarantee play offs. could easily thrash posh. we now have a 1% chance

i think its time I went to bed

Yeah I kind of looked at the permutations and concluded much the same. But let's be honest, how much is our judgement being clouded by false optimism? OK, Brighton have nothing to play for, Palace have everything to play for and Huddersfield will surely beat Barnsley. Trouble is, it takes only one of those oucomes to go against us and we're down. (The most likely bad outcome is that we don't win at Brighton).

Theres a 90% chance we won't win at brighton

Huddersfield only need a draw to be mathematically safe!

Brighton will want to go into the playoffs on the back of a win to keep the momentum. Knowing our luck Barnsley and Peterbro will get thumped and so will we! I hate the slim chance we have because it fills me with false hope. Let's just get it over with.

Yes, let's be clear. It's a slim chance. As far as I'm concerned we're down (as well we should be after the last two results) and we should all get our road maps out finding ou how to get to all those places we haven't been to for decades if ever.

Don't know about you but I'd like to see Phil Parkinson at Molineux

In the crowd, working behind the bar or as manager?

Doing what? cutting the grass?

Picking his nose listening to morgans cowboy builders methods!

A team I would like to see for Wolves next season-

Wayne Hennessey
Matt Doherty
Danny Batth
Georg Margrietter
Jamie Reckord
Bjorn Sigurdarson
Tongo Doumbia
David Davis
Zeli Ismail
Leigh Griffiths
Jake Cassidy

No no no

You may see Ismail/Cassidy/bath but that's it

Henno will be gone. Its like Margrietter has vanished. Reckord has failed to impress. siggy will probably want out as will doumbia and griffiths. so yeah looks like your team will start

Reckord should definitely start would be a class left back but youth players likely to play in around the 1st team would be McCleary batth doherty Davis price Evans Ismail McAlindon and Cassidy but plays to look out for Cranston tank parry whittle all look good players

I can see some of those players going. Doumbia and Siggy being favourites.

I'd love to see Griffiths in a Wolves shirt next season and I don't see why he shouldn't be. He is contracted to us for another season and we need him. Selling him (for what - perhaps £1m) would be a very false economy and so what if he goes for free at the end of the season, if his goals get us promoted it's a small price.

Tony Smith has submitted an offer to buy Wolves. Morgan is believed to be considering a bid of £1 plus a multi-pack of Freddos.

The multi-pack of Freddos has been playing all season!

I wish people would shut up about bringing back McCarthy. He is part of the reason we're in this mess.

The truth will set you free.

1,000 % correct Pal, all these Fans that want him back read Mel Eves in the E&S about the Fear culture over the last 3 or 4years. Told you on this site 12months ago about Mad Micks Bullyboy tactics. P. J.

Mad Mick was there 18 months too long. blokes a dinosaur.

Yes he shouldn't come back, but don't knock him! He worked wonders for the club and still talks proudly about having managed us, prem football too. Yes he ran out of steam and he was hounded out. Not the best way to go. I also miss his Interviews! Where as Deano is in the same category as Connor, we need someone with something about them.

Bringing back Mick would be good. We fired him when we were near the bottom of the Premier when he wasn't good enough. Now it's the other way round and he's just the kind of manager we would appoint if he hadn't been at the club already.

But - and this applies to any manager - don't wait till it's too late before replacing him.

put moxley upfront, offer him a pie per goal and watch 10 fly in past brighton!

And then barnsley will draw at huddersfield and it won't matter anyway

Love it .

Who is moxley?

'Moxley' is one 'l' of a long way from being Moxey! lol

After a long awaited debut for Liam MCAlinden all I can say is that is was well worth the wait, I can now see why the lad has been getting such great reviews, it may be we have a light at the end of a very dark long tunnel, Well done lad.

Have watched McAlinden for a couple of years for reserves at Telford and agree he will be invaluabe next season (along with a couple of the U21s). I saw someone comment a few weeks back that LMc was physically of slight build and would get out muscled by big defenders. Messi is a little on the small side! Ability first - physicality second.
