I think the back room staff appointments will be interesting. He won't bring in Keane but I do think he will shake it up a bit. He must have some good contacts. Perhaps he will go for the other Keane, our very own Robbie! New goalie and fitness coach too; let's start afresh.

Isn't it about time David Edwards let his feet do the talking and shut his mouth. He's not even Captain so by what authority is he making these comments? Get on and do your job better you haven't anything to boast about at the moment.

The same Dave Edwards that scored Saturday you mean, and always gives 100% might be a better captain than the stupid idiot who is captain now.

He couldn't do the job any worse, that's a certainty.

Wolop do u watch the wolves mate u mite not here bout Edwards tht much but always gives 100% and gives these foreign players a run for there money.

Fingers crossed the new boss sees that Danny boy is a problem and not a captain!

If Thelwell is recruiting these players and manager then needs to get it right this time.
The Paul Gladen sighning was bad enough but they have to make the right choice this time else we will be a laughing stock.
With the so called money we supposed to have you would of thought we would of signed strikers of championship experience and sorted the defence out, but no 13 or more players signed and look were we are in table that is not good enough and it clearly shows to me that those who recruited these players should answer for our decline, hope next manager can choose is players to come in, if not it will never work.

Edwards represents continuity Wolves. Been there longer than anyone, managers, board, backroom etc. Him and Ikeme anyway. As footballers go, he's got brains and I want to hear what he says even if it's the usual team played well, 100% behind the manager etc.

IMO Edwards presents the average, abject, dire (decribe as you wish) football at wolves witnessed over the last decade, helped us get promoted with MM then constant injuries. Helped the double drop found his level at L1 and still lives of ave 5-6 goals a season. We should be able to do better than Forrest Gump style 'footballer' who runs a lot if we want to progress. Been there too long now. time to change.

Ok so it looks like Paul Lambert. Wouldn't be my first choice but I will be 100% behind him or whoever takes the job. To be fair he hasn't got a bad record especially with Norwich and considering the restrictions and owners he had at villa and Blackburn. To all those moaning about lack of ambition etc who the he'll do you think we are going to attract considering where we are? Did you think Pep was going to leave city for us or Mourinho, Klopp, Pochettino? Give your flaming heads a wobble as you live in cloud cuckoo land. Lambert is certainly one of the best options available to us so let's get the mol rocking on Saturday and support the lads instead of moaning. One last thing just because the odds are short on something doesn't mean it will happen, just means that a few people have bet on it!

Imo Lambert will prove to be better than McCarthy Solbacken, Connor, Saunders, Jackett and Walt. I have a positive feelin about this appointment. And don't rule out a play off place?

Don't take much to beat those managers you mentioned there PAUL except Mcarthy, all said and done he done exceptional well with us, getting us into premier, just a pity he could not take us any further but let's not forget when he came we didn't have any players he built the side from scratch very good championship manager.
LAMBERT although you cannot understand is interviews nows how to get out the championship proved it with Norwich, also kept Villa in Premier on a shoe string, seams to be a fair choice when you think about it what's out there, could not get any worse that's for sure and the longer it goes on seams the right choice.

Pearson or Lambert for me, I would be happy with either, I've said Pearson since the start of it all, but Lambert knows his stuff'I'm just happy to see freedman not getting mentioned too often now.
Whoever gets the position though' has to be allowed the time to get the squad playing effective football, it won't happen overnight so I think we will all have to be patient.
