wolves FC don't learn from their mistakes ever.

With the amount of mistakes we make if we did learn from them we would be better than Barcelona.

wolves will not comment on whether jerry gill has left his job with the accademy. according to tim spiers,

I remember when the great Brian Clough passed away a few years ago, a few ex players from the European Cup winning teams saying that Cloughie would call any under performing players into his office and threaten to rip up the players contracts and move them out of the club if their performances didn't improve. It worked as they won the league and 2 European Cups. If only that was allowed nowadays.

Wolves now down to 12/ 1 for the drop. This dream has turned to a nightmare. How can a club get so much wrong.

02 Mar 2017 20:42:56
Unfortunately things are different than in Cloughie's days.

I genuinely think that a lot of wolves players don't fear relegation. They will control games in league 1, it's the natural level for most of them. They have tasted it before, it's comfortable for them, they won't be stretched and will still be on good money.
I hope and pray we can stay up this season and we don't start next season with a single player at the club left from our last relegation campaign.

Ex-Blues boss Rowett to do what Jackett did - but probably after double relegation and climb with Batth leading home-grown talent from fourth tier in 2018-19. Hot favourites for relegation by tomorrow evening.

Paul i'd agree oniel would be a good shout and I like dyche I think the next appointment is crucial given the clear out that's required I think it needs to be a british manager i'd try to tempt howe or hughton and sell them the vision and let them build a club short term oniel would get the job done or go out and make a statement mancini or pellegrini safe pairs of hands would be rowett or warburton but I think we should be aiming higher.

As I said its up to Fosun and what they deem to be successful.

Einstein said the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same things and expect different results.
I think our club is full top to bottom of insane folks, it's time to try new players and new tactics, whether it's with this manager or a different one. If not the result will be the same as 4 years ago. league 1 football.

Wolves are in a bigger mess now than at the start of the season. FACT . hopefully JEF Shi gets Butti back to help sort it out!

02 Mar 2017 13:21:24
We need whoever wears the shirt on Saturday to perform! That will be a start!

Butti was part of Zenga's regime who many folk on here wanted shot of when results weren't coming. Why is he now going to be the answer? He has limited (3 months) experience of a unique league.

02 Mar 2017 15:07:59
It's hard to judge Butti to be fair as I'm not entirely sure what he did. I know his title was General Manager but what he did day to day I never really understood. For someone of his experience I would have thought he would have a big role. But Thelwell’s job was to oversee the whole football side of Wolves whilst Zenga was in charge of the first team.

At times it looked like he was there to assist Zenga, but I would have thought a General Manager would be senior to Zenga. I know he attended the press conferences but I don’t remember him being quoted as saying anything.
