Thought I'd suggest it, seen as he's a free agent. ADEBAYO AKINFENWA?! Certainly fits the club's cheap policy. Presumably not the option we need. I'd still take him though over some of the other names we've been linked with lately.

Are things really that bad?

Wolfie Wilde. Dunno about Adebayo. To me he looks like a bad cross between Grant Holt and Sylvain Ebanks Blake. Not tall enough at 5'11" for the 6'2" striker we're obsessed with finding. Siggy could drop down a division or two and start banging 'em in but he couldn't do it in the Champ.

Thought it was worth pointing out, mainly in relation to an early post. It's very easy to look at the ambitious appointments across the league.

Newcastle - Benitez
Villa - Di Matteo
Derby - Pearson
Leeds - Monk

However, while I have been a firm advocate for sacking Kenny Jackett for quite some time. However, does anyone think that the continuance could prove beneficial to us? While the others have to settle in, we can hit the ground running.

No? Yeah, I agree! Oh well, look at Brighton. 2 years ago - 19th. Last season, missed out on automatic promotion on goal difference.

Wake up Wolfie Wilde, CONTINUANCE? 4 wins out the last 20! Villa, Derby, Newcastle and Leeds have far more ambition than us and imo far better coaches! We need quality and experience bringin in and a coach who understands tactics and can motivate! If things stay as they are that's 4 teams in front of us already!

Without sounding like a broken record KJ was exactly the same at Milwall 1 good season then mediocracy and that is where we are currently. Nice bloke I am sure but tactically inept.

03 Jun 2016 12:24:04
Wolfie Wilde. Continuance for KJ? We may have no choice. Hobson's Choice. No new owner, no new head coach. We had two great seasons and one poor one with Kenny. I know he was unlucky with injuries and sold players last season but I still can't understand the drop in form. If he stays I think we will have a much better season. Maybe continuance effect?

Di Matteo is new Villa manager. Garry Monk has gone to Leeds. Nigel Pearson to Derby. Benetiz staying at Newcastle.

These clubs are all showing ambition. What's happening at Wolves?

Villa are getting a new owner and have parachute payments. Leeds have a mad owner. Derby have a very rich and committed owner. Newcastle have a very rich owner who is trying to learn from and make amends for his mistakes and have parachute payments.

Wolves have an owner who is looking to sell the club and will have a massive reduction in revenue due to the parachute payments ending. There aren't going to be major changes in terms of transfer policy or management until the club is either sold, in danger of being relegated again or Morgan has a change of heart and takes the club off the market.

We are in a completely different situation to the teams listed above.

Thought that was obvious.

Also villa n Newcastle new too league so may take while adjust Derby choke in playoffs n Leeds had more managers than any team on planet so least we one thing - consistent ( good or bad that your choice )

Plus Rotherham have appointed Stubbs and Blackburn have appointed Coyle.

Is there a Championship team staying with their last season manager? Ah. Yes.

02 Jun 2016 17:00:57
Obviously nothing will change at Wolves until we have either a new owner or Morgan takes the club off the market. My point though is that, within the financial restraints we are under, we could at least show some ambition. For example, more of the Afobe fee could have been spent on new players.

02 Jun 2016 18:51:23
It's a pretty big whack of money we need to make up with regards to losing the parachute money. I'd be surprised if there is any more money left over from the Afobe sale. I think it is more likely we will have to sell before making any substantial purchases.

What wolves fans want to now is a statement from Mr. Morgan to tell we what on earth is going on at our football club at the moment we seam to be doing exactly the same as last year nothing with nothing to look forward to with these clowns running our football club.
