prediction for tomorrow 2-2 back to basics a good homegrown Wolves team just like the good old days

3 1 to preston. a wake up call to buy some players

Certain to score our forwards are good enough for championship. But need to cut out the sloppy give aways.

Why are people being so negative?

Well, reckon it's mostly 'cos they have an emotional and mental age of (at best) 3! They think they know everything (it's a 'fact' that Preston will win 3-1!), want everything their own way, now (where are the new signings? we must have new signings or we are doomed!), grownups (i. e. Moxey, Morgan and whatever manager we happen to have) are just unfair (they are screwing the fans!), so deserve to be shouted at and the rest of us (i. e. the happy-clappers) don't understand them! But we adults should forgive them - they can't help it - the best thing is to be kind and loving to the poor things. Try to remember this the next time the person sitting next to you at the Mol has his next temper tantrum about the owner/CEO/manager/their latest hate target on the field (who, I wonder, will it be after Henry, Johnson and O'hara?). But don't worry - it won't go on for ever. Trust me, some day they will be all grown up, just like you and me. C'mon you Wolves!

Haha great post

yeees griffo and batth have been offered new deals

I don't think Griffiths will sign a new deal he will be able to move on to a club higher up at the end of the year he has left.

However I really hope he does would be excellent to tie him down for a few more years.

Pleased Batth has been offered one too.

He might still sign, with one of those "bigger club" clauses. We could use the transfer money.

Just watched a video over on fans forum of all of LG's goals for Hibs. For all of you that want new signings, this guy is like us getting a new £5 million striker for nothing.

Anyone else read the article on Doyle doumbia and margiretter have been told to train away from first team with academy along with Johnson Ohara and ward

With Coventry City going into liquidation all those shouting Moxey/morgan out just think that could of been us.
It makes you thankful for what we have in a way.

The truth will set you free.

Excellent comment and true

Good point. We must be careful what we wish for.

I agree. Look at the way Coventry and Portsmouth and Rangers and Hearts have been ruined by spivvy owners. Blackburn not much better. Of course we look at WBA and Stoke and wonder why not us but at least we are trying.

Why is it a joke club if we haven't spent any money. Name a player that would drop to league one and is a goog player.

If you want 7 marquee signings, go and support Man City. Or buy a copy of FM13 and do it yourself.

This is the real world. It's always been said that there were 4, now 6 players in the squad on Premiership wages in Division 3, and players can't come in without them leaving. It's called economics.

It's also been tried and proved that KJ is going to use the products of our Cat1 youth academy this season. With the likes of Danny Batth, Davis, Price and Ismail, and Lee Evans who looks a future star, we DON'T NEED loads of signings. A replacement for Sako when he goes and we are pretty much ready in my opinion.

Please Stop Moaning

I think what they are trying to say is,, this is Wolves not Walsall or Crawley, the club is sitting on parachute money and as big crowds so 1 free transfer is a bit pathetic don't you think.
There is players in this div and div 2 who could do a job for us but nothing as happened.

Can you tell what the hell is Kev Thelwell doing for his money

The question has to be Andy Woggle. Who is the incompetent person that allowed premiership wages to still be paid in the 3rd tier thereby putting a knife to our throats and denying us a fair shot of getting the players that are available or willing to play at this level.

We were crying out last season to use the youngsters, now this thier big opportunity. Some will step up, maybe 1 or 2 will not. By January we will know, and possibly some big wages will be gone, so if we need new players there will be the capacity. The academy lads need this challenge to make their career with the real prospect for them of Championship football next year. I find this prospect of home grown very exciting, but more than ever they will need support and more support when things are not going quite right. I have had enough of over paid prima donnas who are more interested in thier glamorous social life than the fans who help pay for it!

Everyone last season were saying play the kids, then this season your saying buy loads of players before they've even had a chance to show what they can do! Please stop moaning!

Season starts tomorrow and Wolves have spend NOTHING AGAIN.

Joke club

Totally agree mate all for Ms none for J

When was the last time they spent nothing in close season. I for one and approx 5000 others seem positive.

Perhaps he's saving the parachute for next year

Don't get me wrong I would love Wolves to splash the cash but we've got several new players in the squad from the academy which is nice to see. I would prefer an academy player to get his chance rather than getting somebody in.

Im afraid we ain't going up with just kids, they need to spend on some experienced players.
Its a case of Oh no here we go again trying to do it on the cheap

No point in signing players that aren't better than those you have. KJ has looked at his squad and will know more after 10 competitive games. Who do you expect to come to a league 1 club, Messi?

02 Aug 2013 10:58:02
Doyle, Margaritta and Doumbai all made to train away from the main squad along with Ward, Johnson and O'Hara.
3 more who obviously don't want to play for the Club and are trouble, Get rid now and take what we can for them, they are not wanted. This new set up with Jacket and a young squad are more than capable in this league. With the support behind them from the fans they WILL deliver starting at Preston.
FANS, Please, Please, Please get behind them, we have the support so let's be heard home and Away.

Well said, can't agree more, let's get behind the team and Manager and get the crowds back at home and a big travelling support way and make some noise.

Agree entirely. Preston away is a tricky starter and may not, being Wolves, be the right result. I am sure that with only 1 newcomer added to the squad so far, a couple more will be added before 2 Sept. The names being mentioned St. Ledger, Frimpong and Carroll are all of the right calibre to augment the existing players and will ensure the squad is strong enough to justify the teams status as bookies favourite. Barry

If we can get£1m for each of them do it & reinvest in new players!

I agree bazza but its sad to think all three cost nine million quid between them!

9 million and 2 relegations.
