i would also urge some fans not to get to carried away with the costa signing. he is a truly talented player and only a really foolish team would have failed to sign him given that by the end of the season (if he carries on playing the same) he will be worth upwards of 35 million its a great business move let's hope we can as a club and team give him good reasons to stay!

How many of us have hard PL praise our young players, then moan and groan that we aren't signing proven players in this league? I certainly have.
Perhaps it's time to listen to the man in charge? He obviously sees their potential day in day out, more than we see of them.
Yes, we do need to strengthen, no question. But we have a very good youth academy set up, let's sit back and enjoy the fruits of it. Remember the experts questioning Fergie when he played unknown youngsters? I'm not saying we have David Beckhams lined up- but who's to say we haven't.
Paul L is the man trusted to manage club, I think we are all starting to believe again?

I think he'd re sign in an instant. He publicly said at the time, he didn't want to leave. And you only have to see him on the pitch during and after the match at Anfield, then see his interview, to see he still has a massive passion to play and do well for the club

Regarding Stears. 'One swallow doesn't make a summer' or something like that. He played well but that's more often than not rare!
