mick mccarthy will be sacked if wolves lose to liverpool by more than 3 goals

What's the point of that he should have been sacked weeks ago he is garbage

What garbage, why 3 goals ? so if we lose by 3-1 or 4-2 that makes his job safe. stop posting utter rubbish.

Ok wulfrunians this is what we should do before the transfer deadline. first off we have £4 mill to spend. so lets sell Doyle to Everton for £4 mill total £8 million to spend. next bring in leon best on loan. jonjo shelvey has told liverpool he wants to go out on loan so lets get him in. next make an offer for bassong from spurs £4 million that leaves us with £5 mill to buy craig gardnier . what do you think ?

It's a sensible plan but as I u'stand it (and I may be wrong) a club can only have 2 loan players at one time. Thus it might be possible to make a loan deal for Shelvey and buy Leon Best.

Yes but i wonder how much newcastle would want for him

If we had 8m and bought Bassong for 4m, where do we get another 1m from to make the 5m left to spend.

Anyway if Doyler goes, Big George and Hamill , i reckon we would have about 12m to spend. Gardner, Ridgwell and Rhodes for a start , say 9m leaving a bit for Morgans back pocket.

Still think we will all be suprised and nothing will happen !

Sounds good but our lot morgan moxley amd mad mick would bank the money

Everton have bid for jelavic at rangers so they ain't gonna buy Doyle

Depends how much rangers want for him but i can see doyle leaving dont no why just think he will seems to have lost interest like he did at reading

Rangers won't sell.

But rangers may knock back there offer

I hope they do n then they can take Doyle from us n we can go n get Maynard n best/lonvenkrands both can hold the ball up

Good day all...Whatever happened with our link with Bassong? I see QPR is sniffing there...not sure we could get him but with a try as he hasn't played most of the season. Anyway let's get behind and support our boys no matter what happens...come on you Wolves!

In a 37 year study of English football managers by Stefan Szymanski a professor at the University of Michigan he decided that with the odd exception the vast majority could be successfully replaced by their secretaries, or indeed by their stuffed mascots, without anyone noticing. (This is a massive report so I can only precis here).
Taking data from 1978-2010 he found that the size of the wage bill determines, which team comes top. This applies for all the 92 professional teams.
The team with the highest wage bill invariably comes top in whichever league they operate!
Obviously teams which achieve higher positions than their wage bill determines have something extra....possibly as Jose Mourinho used to say "a special one" so which managers are considered to be Special?
For all the readers waiting with baited breath to see if MM is one of the purported "special ones" wait no longer he does not appear in the top 100 of 251 ranked managers.
So who are the consistent performers:-
Bob Paisley, Sir Alex, Arsene, Wor Bobby,
David Moyes, Dave Mackay, Howard Kendall, George Graham and most interestingly Paul Sturrock (now Southend) who has overachieved relative to his wage bill in all relevant criteria.
One day the market in managers might finally become efficient. But it will probably be too late for Paul Sturrock.
So, in MM's defence, Wolves have no chance of success in the Premiership without an influx of cash for players and the consequent increase in the wage bill.
So what can we do?
Find an Abramorvic or a Mansour bin Zayed Nahyan (Man City).
Or give Paul Sturrock a ring!!

Agree fully morgan will not allow us to pay out

Someone has been reading 'Why England Lose.....'!

It also says that with a few exceptions (Clough, etc) managers make very little difference. Basically it says - get someone with a bit of carisma who looks good infront of a camara and you are half way there. Bring on Paolo De Canio!

Do you think it sums up Wolves transfer policy over the last 5 years?

Have you watched Van Der Sar on youtube yet. If not, you will! I could have saved Ronaldo's pen with that info.
